My Wolf secateurs broke after years of use and I decided to replace them with another Wolf set. I am very pleased with the new set and have already made good use of them, pruning back a shrub which had become too large. The plastic handle doesn’t feel as substantial as my previous set but the overall quality is good and in my opinion superior to other brands
I like the Wolf brand as all the tools have a bright red theme which stands out against the green if lost in the cuttings. Importantly they seem to last longer than other shop bought tools and are very sharp when new. Can confidently cut any small branch or stem cleanly and are essential this time of year for tidying the garden.
Comfortable to use when flexibility of hand is not what it was.
I have tried to submit this review 5 times but have been repeatably told something is wrong but not what it is.
A great pair of secateurs, that just keep cutting, without the need for sharpening the blade.
They come with a locking switch at the top, and are an anvil type blade.
You can tighten the hinge and change the blade if you ever find the need to.
They also hang neatly on the wolf tool rack, that you can buy separately.
I’ve had my pair for several years now, and I bought these for my son, who has just started gardening.
I’m happy to recommend to anyone, a great gardening tool that lasts for years.
Just checked and found our old pair were bought in May 2019 but have died because the spring has broken. Despite only lasting 2 years I am buying another pair for my wife because they are very comfortable in small hands and I can’t find anything better at this price. Blades are still nice and sharp but no obvious way to replace the spring..
We love wolf garten, these were to replace a cheaper secateurs, and I love then, super sharp and comfortable to use. Well worth the money as they last (my husband also has a pair that have been going years)
A friend of mine has a pair and he lent them to me I liked them a lot and then brought my own for which I am very happy with them
I use a lot off this brand. This item is very good quality. The only this that would improve then is a spring to open the cutters easier when in use
Nice secateaurs. Comfortable to use and are robust enough to deal with plants and twigs. Have caught my hands between handles of other secauteurs when using them but this doesn’t seem likely with these.
I got these for my Mum for Christmas and she loves them, they cut really well, are very comfortable and she likes the closing mechanism on them, as her old secateurs were difficult to close
iPhone, Porche, Brompton, all expensive but so lovely to own. Own these Secateurs for a modest price. So well made, so nice to hold, simply exquisit. And all that is just indoors, outside perfect for small and large hands, left or right.
Have been after some decent secateurs for ages and these fit the bill Excellent value for money, will cut both small woody branches as well as the softer stems. Cannot fault them and would buy them agai
