Get this lovely phone for my wife. She is happy with colours and build design of this phone.
Overall this phone comes with 8/128 gb Ram room. And such a good quality camera.
worth money
Upgraded from a Samsung a21s and for some more money it is a MASSIVE improvement & well worth it. Love the Camera, Screen & the good Battery Life & blue light filter modes. Would recommend if you have an entry/mid range Samsung, as for the money the experience is greatly improved! (apps dont take forever to open & your phone unlocks instantly)
Pros:
120hz Screen.
Good Camera (dark pictures aren’t a thing anymore :D).
Battery that lasts me several days.
Fast Charging (I didn’t think I would love this, but I do).
Cons:
Fingerprint reader can sometimes fail to read, usually its an error on my part though.
My previous phone was a Xiaomi Mi A2 lite. It was a great phone with great battery life and could handle mostly anything I threw at it. I had it for nearly 5 years and decided it was time for an upgrade. I wanted to fork out a bit more for some better features, and in came the Xiaomi 12 lite. I purchased directly from the Xiaomi/Mi shop.
Phone performance is great. Smooth, quick and efficient navigation. Camera is very good and much better quality than the A2. The build quality is excellent. Not too heavy, but it’s not made from cheap materials. I’ve put a Spigen case around it just in case. The charging time really stands out. If you leave animations on, you can watch the charge counter on the phone as it’s charging. It’s seriously quick.
I do have some dislikes. Whilst the charging is phenomenal, the battery usage is so so. Obviously it depends on what you use it for, but you’re probably looking to charge it at the end of every day. I’d prefer a slower charge but longer battery life. It’s great having the 120hz screen, animations and other features, but it drains the battery. Sometimes I don’t see the point. If the battery lasted longer, then great, but it doesn’t. Another thing I’ve found on my particular device is that when the screen comes out of standby the display is randomly really saturated. I toggle the standby and it goes back to normal. It’s intermittent and just a bit weird. I’ve contacted Xiaomi for advice in case the screen is bad or on its last legs. I’m sure this is down to my device rather than a general issue.
Overall, I’m happy with the device. I do have some battery anxiety (eye roll!) but I just make sure I juice it up before going anywhere and also charge in the car.
It’s a really good phone, I highly recommend!
My only issue is the earphones have a jack connector, they can’t be used with the phone
Looks wise this is one of the nicest phones I’ve ever seen.
Now a couple things to mention.
I believe that this phone’s main purpose is to be a selfie phone. The front facing image quality and the details are amazing (in videos as well as in pictures). I compared them with selfies from an S22 plus and I preferred these. It makes you look pretty but natural (smooth skin, face etc) without making you look fake (this is a common problem)
Pros:
Amazing amoled screen (also quite bright so I haven’t had issues in the sun)
Great battery life (with normal usage like maps, Spotify, camera, Instagram, Facebook, emails etc. by 8pm I still had about 20-35% left)
Insane charging speed (put it on charge and within 18 minutes, it went from 5% to 58%)
You also get an actual charger and a phone case (quite rare these days lol)
Double LED lights at the front of the screen (for lowlight selfies)
120 mHz screen refresh
Dual sim
Super quick face recognition from all angles
Ultralight weight
Stereo speakers
Support for side apps in a little pop-up window
Finally no bloatware in the system in the current version of android (only a few apps but you can delete them)

Cons:
Only 128 GB storage (no sd card support)
Video quality of the rear camera.
Now this is quite good if you’re standing still but as soon as you start walking, it becomes very shaky even with the imagine stabilisation ON
I believe this can be sorted out with an update.
