I use this to dry the condensation in the upstairs rooms as I have a problem with damp and opening windows does not seem to do the job. After everyone has had their shower, i open all the windows and turn this fan on for 15mins. All of the upstairs rooms are as fresh as outside. I actually wish I had found this when we had that horrid heat wave, as the cool breeze feels absolutely amazing!
Carpet & upholstery cleaning service driers are great product for drying upholstery ec
As a sweaty drummer my old fan wasn’t delivering enough air to help keep me cool.
So did some research and this came up as an option. And wow, this thing is powerful. Was exactly what I was after.
I bought 2 of these, & I like the daisy chain feature, they have helped with the aeration which helps to dry out rooms that I’ve freshly painted..
Not cheap but they are more robust than a standard fan, so better for on site use & for transporting on my van!
The fan is a bit more turbo charged also, especially on setting 3
The blade assembly does allow for easy access as I’m sure I’ll have to occasionally vacuum clean the blades from time to time,
Overall quite happy with these so far, & I’ll maybe purchase 2 more at some poi
I’ve bought a few fans and they have broken or not given off a lot of breeze. This is a powerful little machine. It does what it says in the discription. I like the fact you can plug other fans into it and also the angle you can place the fan. I would highly recommend this product.
It’s been on 24/7 sitting in my window pulling in outside air into the bedroom for weeks, aside from the odd moth stuck to the fan it’s been decent.
Funny story though, I kept hearing water dripping one morning, and I was baffled where it could be coming from… Turns out fog will condense inside the unit and form a puddle, the fan blade was just swishing the water and making dripping sounds. Emptied it out and kept using it, been fine, works fine, happy with it.
The first setting isn’t too loud to me, second and third settings are a bit much for me to tolerate though.
The stream of air that it blows is very directional and laser-like.
Works for me ™
Pros:
Does the job. Fast cool air stream where it was needed in the last UK heatwave. (YES we do get them very occasionally) Ideal if it can be placed near an open window or door to circulate the air. I bought 2 so I’m happy. Ideal for ppl who workout at home or even drying areas of a building if you need to. They can be noisy, but hey what do u expect with a force 8 gale being hurled at you! Even has an electrical socket on it so you can daisy chain them or even use as an extension for something else.(bear in mind that it’s probably not a good idea to plug in a high wattage item like a fan heater or something.
Cons: Nowt I can think of.
Am a carpet cleaner and use these to dry sofas ..they do quite a good job love the fact they plug into one another I also like to were my wifes cloths at the weekend
Use it for zwift. We have 2 of these. Tried a different air mover first that claimed better airflow but this is the daddy. Best bang for your buck.
Impressive air flow, compact and so much better than a normal fan.
Plugged it into a smart socket and it really is the best affordable solution for cooling on a turbo trainer.
Using it with a turbo trainer. I leave it on setting 3 for the entire session, noise levels are totally acceptable for the power it puts out. I generally do not sweat too much and drink relatively little, this fan is powerful enough to get me through a 2h session with just one bottle of water and very occasional use of a towel.
Having looked around at options for a fan for my indoor cycling setup, took a punt on this one. Perfect for the job, as it is really powerful (I only use it on setting 1 and it has 2 futher more powerful options), low power usage and very quiet. Tucks neatly under the TV and can be positioned at the perfect angle to give a narrow column of ‘wind’. Look no further and get this one…….
Chose this after looking for free-standing air-conditioning units. Many of those reviews commented that the a-c units often smelled dank (because of the water required for cooling the air). This however doesn’t need water as it is a fan…but no ordinary fan: rather, a super strong jet of air that is barely audible. Definitely a great find.
Lots of reviews on this already. I bought it for drying carpets in a car that had suffered water ingress. Took a while on highest setting but better than not having it. Cant see it being hugely useful beyond that. Power is just ok but not perhaps as much as I hoped. It does the job but I wouldn’t imagine that it would be great in a largish room. The power socket on the side was handy as I could plug a mini dehumidifier into it at the same time.
For the price this is a powerful air mover and directs a proper uniform channel of air.
Ideal for Zwift and turbo trainer. Ditched a massive 20″ fan and no regrets. Really quiet. The air movement is faster and has real pressure now. Easily out performs 2 ht900e fans.
Great piece of kit for anyone looking for a cooling fan for indoors workouts, I use this while riding in my turbo trainer and it works great.
Great fan, very focussed output. Useful to have the socket in the side as well.
Bought this to use while cycling indoors. It works great. The airstream feels a lot stronger and more focussed than a normal fan. At lower settings it still moves a lot if air while being relatively quiet.
Using this fan with a Wattbike Atom/Turbo trainer……an almight gust of cold air on the first setting which is still nice and quiet…..knocking it up to level 2 or 3 and it’s super powerful.
During the April/May hot weather we also had this in the living room and I was still getting a powerful gust of air in my face stood in the kitchen about 20 metres away. Great bit of kit, especially for the price.
Bought this for indoor training on the bike as I had seen others using this style of fan. It’s unbelievably powerful and I only ever turn it on full for long high power intervals. Having gone from an 18″ floor fan this is incredibly quiet, so early morning training is possible. Provides a blade of air that covers my full chest and head whilst in an aero-ish position, can advise not having the main stream directed towards your mouth otherwise it’s like sticking your head out the window on a motorway!
