Played a different version of this, but when i saw this version was a complete no brainer. It’s great, fast, tactical, but so simple in nature. A great little game that every body can enjoy.

I love this game one of the best card games you can get very easy to learn
Only problem is the backs to the cards fade depending on how much you play i

We played this game on our family holiday (Adult kids) almost for 3 weeks solid. At first it’s easy and fun but the more you play the more you end up strategising! Cards are pretty, it’s well made and a lot of fun.

I have nothing bad to say about either the cards or the felt pouch they come with, my only grip is the original plastic packaging the product comes in seems to have a glue fault which means it arrives half off, I say this as I believed only the first one I ordered had this issues so ordered a new one however the second one arrived with the exact same issue. I had assumed it was just a returned product but for two seperate ones to have the packaging hanging off in the exact same place seems unlikely. Overall wouldn’t be an issue however this is going to be a present so I’m just going to have to glue it back together myself!

I recommend this card game. We are travelling and even bring this out when we’re sitting in a cafe waiting for food. It’s lots of fun for two people and even more fun with four. Get it!!!

Played this at a friend’s house and loved it so much got our own set.
Easy to pick up, and the more you play the better you get at tactics.
Easy small sized pocket game, good for travelling. Good quality and comes in a pouch to keep the bits safe

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAmazon has been recommending me this game for the past 2 or 3 years and I had been ignoring the recommendation. I bought the electronic version for Android (it was much cheaper) and discovered what I had been missing. My main reason for ignoring the recommendation was because there are so few cards in the deck and I thought it would result in a game with little depth. I was wrong. This is a great game and easy to learn. Absolutely love it!!

I was surprised that the game itself already expanded. Even better than the original.

I’ve played this game many times in the past but never owned it. Knowing I was going away for the easter break with a couple of friends I bought it and packed it. Everyone loves it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWas recommended to us by a colleague, this is a charming little card based game perfect for playing a few hands when out and about waiting for food or sat in the train.
Simple mechanics but deep gameplay, it doesn’t get in the way of social chat. Really nice way to spend time.

This reminds me a lot of Sleeping Queens (our favourite family game) but with more tactical moves available, and playing in rounds makes for a better game. We have just received Love Letter and the 6yo and I worked it out pretty quickly. I can see it replacing Sleeping Queens as a favourite pretty soon. Highly recommend!

Have been playing this game for over 5 years now. Great for airports and long train journey’s as it’s so small and you can easily travel with it. I find non-gamers find it a little daunting at first to have to learn all the new faces and rules, but if they’re willing to try it they quickly fall in love with it. It’s simple and easy to learn.
Also, the packaging, artwork + everything in the new revised version is much improved and really really great. Well done!

Great fast and small card game. It all fits into a tiny velvet pouch, cards, counters and all! Really easy to teach, you don’t have to think about it too much as you have one card in your hand, you draw a card and then play a card and it’s great fun with the take that elements. Highly recommended, makes a great pub/cafe game.

An excellent game that is so quick to learn, full of strategy and doesn’t take all night to play (…unless you can’t stop playing ‘just one more game!’). It has been a huge hit with our family. My six year old nephew has also picked up how to play and wants to play morning, noon and night. Fortunately the rest of the family enjoy the game just as much!!!
A very well thought out game with high quality cards, tokens and bag. Money very well spent and highly recommended for all ages.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI am not sure if I like the addition of the new cards, but it definitely changes the game a little bit. It’s nice that we are allowed to go up to 6 players now (it used to be up to 4), but I haven’t had the opportunity to play with that player count. I think I will most probably stick with the original 17 cards though, since it feels more familiar, but it isn’t too hard to play the original game with this set.

I used to hate the old artwork, but it had started to grow on me after a few games. The artwork has changed in this version, and I’m not too sure how I feel about the more cartoon-y look at the moment, but perhaps it will eventually grow on me too.

I must, however comment on the quality of the components. The plastic chips are remarkable and I love the carry bag. I think it’s really good value if you like this game.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersLove Letter is a game I learnt in 5 minutes. Genuinely, 5 minutes. You don’t need any more time to comprehend what’s going on. It’s a fast-paced deduction game, and works phenomenally well as a starter for a board game night, or as a filler in between games. Have friends who aren’t very good with understanding the rules? Play Love Letter with them. You look for a quick, non-commital game for an evening or two? Pick Love Letter. It’s that good.
As for the components, they are all really well-made. The bag is gorgeous and has a nice feel to it, the tokens are slightly prettier than your standard tokens, and the cards are a joy to look at. Recommended!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersA great little game, easy to learn, casual but highly re-playable. For a group of family or friends wanting to pass some time with a card game, this is perfect. Two important things to note: (1) It comes in a very handy drawstring bag, making it highly portable. (2) This version includes both the “classic” 16-card game and the 21-card game that supports up to 6 players. A bonus is that the cards are 63 x 88 mm – and so fit snugly into standard protective card sleeves. I sleeved mine as soon as they arrived, and the game still fits in the drawstring bag – nice.
