Powerful and quiet fan.
Saved my sleep from these hot and sweaty nights.
It’s been on uninterrupted since I purchased it.
At night provides that fresh breeze without giving too much noise (the white noise it produces it’s quite pleasant).
Solid build.
I’ve seen lots of comments on here explaining there are missing parts. I had about 5 mild panics when putting together as some parts are already attached to the main body! Please bare this in mind. I was looking at how to secure the back panel of the fan, turns out the bit you secure it with is actually on there already, you need to unscrew it. Same goes with the small screw and bolt (already attached). Only bought today but has helped me in a very warm loft room! Would recommend. Please just be mindful when putting together that some parts are hidden!
Exactly what’s it’s supposed to, I have this right in my face when I sleep plus the white noise is soothing. Perfect for the bedroom or living room, I’d have 10 of these if I could, Perfect size fully adjustable so you have change the heigh
A really nice fan, might be a little plasticky for some people’s tastes but the lightweight construction is a big part of the appeal to me: the item which it replaced weighed about four times as much, and it’s nice having something that’s dead easy to move around when needed. Home gets too toasty for my liking in very warm weather so this has been a godsend on those days, albeit that they’ve been few and far between this year! Very satisfied with this purchase.
Good little fan which I bought as a pre-owned item. There were absolutely no issues with it and it works perfectly fine. Very useful during hot summer time.
It comes as a kit and you have to build it which takes a few minutes, but if you follow the instructions, it is not complex.
Great fan, but feels a bit flimsy and I was left with a extra piece (the securing bolt for the blade as it wouldn’t go on right.) But it does what it’s supposed to go and has a great deal of power on the high setting.
I’d already bought a branded one which started squeaking on oscillation. I bought this one and it cost the same but the quality is so much better. It’s powerful and quiet – just what I needed.
I bought one of these and I didn’t expect much. Seemed really cheap compared to other big fans. It took about 2 minutes to put together and on switching it on and seeing how good it was I instantly bought another one. Such a great fan at a great price 5*
I like this fan (and am enjoying surviving the heat) but, as many people have already, I must remark on the assembly and quality of materials. While the instructions are relatively easy to follow, if you’re not handy or willing to mess around with it, the end result of following said instructions is going to be a wobbly unstable mess.
Advice to other buyers: thighten everything as far as it goes, especially the screw you use to join the shaft and the fan, and then give the pre-assembled screws a little bonus thighten. And then, wrap two layers of clear tape around the end of the shaft before it goes into the base to make sure the fit is snug. That should make sure the fan sits stable and doesn’t wobble too much.
In my opinion, a product that requires assembly should be designed taking costumer limitations into account, with stable, sturdy and PROPERLY FITTING parts. If following instructions to the letter gives you a subpar version of the product, there was a failure in product design, simple as that. Which is why I’m not giving it 5 stars, despite being quite happy with it.
When it came flat packed I thought here we go however, it was very easy and simple. Three settings doesn’t need to be on three as speed one does the job. Its turns left to right and up and down on a manual positioning. Worth 30
The fan itself is decent, moves plenty of air and isn’t too loud, only negative is the base is a little flimsy. fine if your keeping it in once place but if your are planning to move it around I would maybe spend a bit more
The fan is good, even on its lowest setting it delivers a really respectable amount of airflow and cooling.
However.
If you’ve never put together one of these fans before, or if you’re neurodivergent and struggle when not given explicit, in-depth instructions, putting this thing together will not come easily to you. I struggled with it, having never owned a fan like this before, and the instructions were not clear at all. Crucial parts for assembly initially seemed to be missing, because they were hidden within other parts, or packaged in a section that seemed counter-intuitive, or simply don’t visually match the visual guide in the instructions. I could not for the life of me figure out how I was supposed to attach the main body of the fan to the pole (once I located the pole) and the instructions did not tell me how – I ended up just kind of improvising, and I’m not entirely certain my improvised solution was the correct one (although it does work).
You will also need a very teeny tiny screwdriver to properly assemble this fan, something which is neither noted nor provided.
Aside from the difficulty with assembly for a first-timer and the lack of clarity in the instructions, however, the fan is good and I’m happy with my purchase.
The box arrived damaged and the top open. Should possibly have been put in a proper shipping box for better protection. Luckily all the bits were there and undamaged.
Anyway, all as expected. Easy to put together – if you’ve ever put one together in the past then it’ll be a two minute job. The only bad point is the legs – they’re hollow plastic and lack weight, making the assembled fan feel a bit top heavy but you’d have to give it a good shove to push it over so I’m sure it’ll be fine. But metal legs or at least some ballast for extra stability would have improved this.
If you have NOT put one together before, be aware that the fan blade slides fully onto the spindle in one orientation only. There is a flat side on the spindle and on the fan blade so make sure they match up. Also the retaining nut for the blades screws on counter-clockwise to ensure it doesn’t work loose during fan rotation. Those two potential gotchas aside, you won’t find it difficult to assemble (unless you’re daft).
Three speed controls, 90 degree oscillation, chucks a good breeze out even on setting 1, and quiet enough to still be able to hear the TV. Good!
