Had previously bought single layer expanding hoses, but after much use, they were more like sprinklers than a hose pipe. This one appears to be much more robust, not had it long, time will tell. Came with two fittings for the outside tap, so good to go straight away. So far good quality.
I had a similar hose that last four years of heavy use. I have already used this several times and I am happy with the quality of the material. It works well and the hand piece is easy to operate.
Does the job of a conventional hose but without any kinking. The other main benefits are that it is so much lighter and easier to store. Just be careful if you take it round and sharp corners as hoses like this are more prone to fraying.
I wasn’t sure what the quality of a hose from Amazon would be like. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The quality is great. The hose itself is lightweight yet very strong with the added benefit of plant debris not appearing to stick to it. The hose head and fixtures are very strong and it does not leak al all at the tap fitting, unlike my last hose. Highly recommend.
Really glad I bought this. It’s amazing how it expands and is perfect, so lightweight. Great spray head as well that has different functions. I don’t know how durable it will be but I am careful not to let drag it across anything that might tear it (common sense really!) – it’s so much better than my other hose that is heavy and cumbersome. Comes with something to hang it on which is great and different sized attachments for the tap. Didn’t get the carry bag but never mind 🙂 I would really recommend this.
I was very happy with the hose it’s self but the trigger gun connection leaks.Also it’s important to not disconnect until the tap has been turned off and the water ran off via the gun as the water pressure in the hose is very high.More than the plant’s get soaked.
Love the fact you don’t need a hose reel as it shrinks once the water is switched off so I loop it over the outside tap (I bought the 50m version). The material that the hose is made out of doesn’t absorb all the muck when you drag it round the garden – again another bonus. Very happy and would recommend.
I was wrong. It is so easy to hang on the wall (hanger included).When turned on, it snakes across the garden turning the short length into the full, if not more, 50 ft I ordered. It is powerful with numerous settings. When turned off, leaving the hose on open, it snakes back into its original neat size. No knots as I have with my other, newly purchased, hose. So neat and a great pleasure to use. |I will update regarding the durability. So far, I am extremely impressed. Recommended
