Other users have complained about the sharpness of the bits. I have not found this to be the case, although I am only drilling plastic. I can only imagine maybe a bit of a problem with metal.

ice feeling drill got for making holes in 3d prints to put filler in to add more weight the set dose not include the vise as the pictures have listed but i could just print one other than that a decent cheap hand drill

All seem good, small drills in nice packet, Can’t say I’ve used them yet to comment on how well they cut, shouldn’t be an issue as being used on plastic

I had a previous set but lost the drill bits. This one gives so many options. Although it doesn’t come with any literature so I don’t actually know what the ones with coloured handles are for!

I didnt actually need this, in the end for the purpose I originally bought it for. However, I do jewellery making and I realised it would be good for increasing the hole sizes of some of my beads. I just tried it on them and it works well. It does not work on all materials (depending on their material properties) but did work on some of my natural stone beads which surprised me. I must admit that I wasn’t expecting such a good product for this price. It will be a really useful tool for craft and electronic projects. This is money well spent as far as Iam concerned. It came with a good range of drill sizes.

The drills aren’t bad quality and are reasonably sharp. The pin chuck is OK for the price, but does at least have a 3-jaw collet which holds drills more accurately than the usual 4 jaws at this price point. Do bear in mind though, that the tiny PCB drills won’t fit in the pin chuck.

The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because to tighten up the chuck very hard to retain the bit when drilling into tough materials sometimes needs re-tightening. I suspect all of these mini drills are the same, so I wouldn’t be put off. I am pleased overall and would recommend. It came well packaged and is sturdy. The model railway is progressing with its use. Buy with confidence. Good value too.
