The works fine however when I tried to install it inthe fridge it wouldn’t fit as they put a plastic divider in the slot & I had to cut it out in order to be able to fit it in.
I use these filters in our 10years old Panasonic NR-B54VW2 fridge,it it prefect,the tap water after been filter is clear with fresh clean taste,I reset the light since fitted no problems,this is the first time i use filter not made by Panasonic i cant tell the different between the two.
i live in a hard water area so having a fridge with a filtered water dispenser is needed. The filter was a little cheaper than the top brand, easy to fit and seems to work just as good.. overall very happy.
I bought a pack of three Aquacrest filters, they are a direct replacement for the OEM spares but sold at a very reasonable price. The filters are performing very well in service, great product!
The original filter is too expensive, same price as a Brita tap water filter.
Consider the significant less usage of cooled water, it is not cost effecitve to keep using the original filter.

The product is well sealed and packaged.
The same build with the original one, therefore very easy to instal.
After fitting the filter, remember to flush the system for 5 minutes.
It is normal to see ‘black water’ when flushing the system.
Those are carbon particles which not bonded to the filter mesh. No harm.
I filled two cups of water, one from Brita tap and one from the fridge, asked my wife to taste.
‘Taste no different’. I think the same.
So I recommend this item to whoever brought the same fridge :D.
If you change your Panasonic water filter every 6 months as recommended, it is quite expensive to use the Panasonic replacements. These filters look and feel exactly the same, do the same job but are far more sensibly priced. Well done, I will use again.
