I have never owned a Trail Camera but as I have a fairly large garden, in a rural setting, I thought it would be interesting to see what, if any, overnight visitors I had.
I also realised it would have a useful additional security function.
On opening the box I was surprised at the actual weight.
It was a solid piece of kit.
I admit that I am notoriously bad at following instruction manuals and at first glance I thought I might have to seek assistance.
However I quickly discovered this Instruction Manual was ‘ Idiot’ proof and I soon had it set up and mounted by the strap on garden tree. A pear tree that had never produced fruit so I finally found a use for it. It has rained heavily overnight without any ingress of moisture. The picture quality was good in all lights. Never realised how grumpy I look. I liked the zoom capability and the facility to reposition the picture while viewing. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I do not know how long the battery life will be or the long term durability but today I can confidently recommend this camera.
First trail cam I have ever bought and wished I’d bought one sooner. Saw this one at a really good price and thought I would give it a go. Really easy to setup and use, motion detector is good and quality of pics and video is really good. If you are looking for a good quality trail cam at a really affordable price then I couldn’t recommend this enough.
I bought this camera to watch my resident hedgehog to check she hadn’t abandoned her babies. The quality of the video and photo is great. Camera is super easy to set up and use. Would recommend highly.
I have had this Trail cam for about a week now, it is easy to set up & I have found it great with very clear pics & video’s :-). I have set it up to record video for 1 min on 4K – You can see the result & picture clarity in the attached video of the Muntjac deer (Trail Cam was 19 feet / 5.8 meters away from the deer at its furthest point) . The night vision video is also good & clear – I caught deer the night before (Same distance) @ 4:45am – I would have posted this video also, but you are only allowed to post 1. So far I am very happy with the product.
Absolutely thrilled to discover we do have a Hedgehog visiting our garden!
All thanks to this wildlife camera. The video quality (day or night) is excellent.
After experimenting we do need to mount on a more stable tree trunk where the wind doesn’t trigger the camera, but we are very pleased with our purchase.
This product was extremely easy to set up with clear instructions provided. I’m very happy with the clarity of the pictures and the quality of the product. I am looking forward to capture more amazing imagery!

I had a 100 budget to buy a wildlife trail camera for my birthday, but found this after much comparing specs and prices at just over 60 I think. It does everything I want and has provided an interesting window into the wildlife in my garden. The night vision is acceptable, day quality great, and settings are easy to understand. I just set the timer to night-times and single shots or videos. I initially set it to multiple photos and medium sensitivity and first interrogation had over 600 photos, which had seriously drained the batteries, but have fine tuned it now to reduce the number to one or two a night.
I have found mice are eating my hedgehog food while the hedgehog is walking past the feeder, and Muntjac are eating my plants at 4.00am as suspected. Recommended.
This is the first time I have attempted to use a night vision camera. Something had been eating my strawberries at night and on the first attempt I found the culpit!! I also caught a wonderful capture of a hedgehog pottering around the garden which was fantastic! So easy to set up and use and was caught in the downpour this morning but working perfectly! Extremely happy with my camera and great value for money***
We have quite a lot of wild life leaving “tokens” in our garden and we were curious as to what animals were visiting. The first time we used it we had a group of three foxes, very clear videos and photos. no apparent lag on videos so caught all the action!
Initially had a few questions using the camera, contacted the supplier who where more than helpful, very quick response, really great service, a bit of a rarity these days!
The camera is easy to set up and operate and the supplied instructions straight forward and simple to follow. We have been amazed and delighted by the video clips we have obtained. We have discovered and enjoy having 3 to 4 hedgehogs visiting every night, and one “couple” are obviously having a very torrid love affair! Downloading the memory disc onto our PC seems pretty straight forward using the supplied USB cable. We are having fun discovering the wildlife in or garden at nights and the camera takes very good videos as well as individual shots. Well impressed to date, good value – highly recommended for those wishing or not able to pay huge amounts of money for a well made and waterproof trail camera.
Trailcam very quick and easy to set up, good resolution on video and excellent quality playback on unit and the laptop, picks up animal and bird movements very easily. Highly recommended.
Very easy to set up and as long as you use things like specific time windows for recording etc. the battery usage (1.5v rechargeable is what I went for) is great. Nice clear pictures and a load of options around the picture quality you want. The night vision does use infra red – I have stood next to the camera and test recorded and I had no idea the lights were working. The reason I’ve given it 4 for night vision is simply to indicate that the distance throw on the IR lights is around 5 metres which means that whatever you film will have to come fairly close to be caught on camera (see the hedgehog picture I’ve added to this review as that is about the limit of the IR). So if you want a longer night vision than that then go for a more expensive camera.
Very easy to follow instructions on how to set up and use the camera. Purchased as our Daughter had brought one a few weeks before and I was impressed with its quality. Unfortunately after 10 days it went wrong so emailed customer support. I got a reply from Vivian the next day whose help and advice I cannot fault . The service I received was excellent throughout our communications . It was a pleasure to deal with someone who takes their job seriously.
It feels sturdy and is very easy to set up and use, with an easily navigable menu system. I’ve only had mine a few days, but it’s already survived a night of rain and a day of local thunderstorms with no ill effects. (The instructions explicitly warn against use during thunderstorms, but I was at work, so couldn’t really do much about it.)
I have only two minor complaints. The first is that the frame rate is very low on high resolution videos. I couldn’t find details in this listing, on the box, or in the instructions, so I’ll include it here.

1920 x 1080 – 30 fps
1280 x 720 – 30 fps
720 x 480 – 30 fps
640 x 480 – 30 fps
The second is that, whist the claimed 0.2 second response time seems about right, if you choose the mode which takes a photo then records video, the subsequent video recording is delayed by a further 1.5 seconds or so. For faster moving animals, or even slower moving ones when filmed up close, you can miss some potentially good moments. As testament to this, I now have several photos of my cat’s nose with associated video of his tail as he sauntered past within 1 metre of the camera!
All things considered, including the price, I’m happy with it and I look forward to getting some nice footage of something more exciting than my cat.
The daytime videos have so far been absolutely superb and I am looking forward to trying the camera at night. The minor problem I did have with sound was dealt with very efficiently by the after-sales team and their engineers who were also very polite and friendly. I would definitely buy from them again.
The camera set-up instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I installed batteries and followed the instructions yesterday afternoon, and in the evening set the camera on my own tripod in some woods next to our garden. When I downloaded the files in the morning, I had 4 events recorded during the night, proving that fox cubs are living there. To download the files, I simply took my laptop out to the camera and connected the cable provided. The night time images and videos are not as clear as day-time equivalent, but that is true of all infrared cameras I believe. Overall, very satisfied so far! Next task is to try and video badgers on a well-used trail in an adjacent part of the woods 🙂
Camera feels solid. definitely well built. Great selection of options for recording etc. Video quality is excellent.
Only used it once but I’m pretty impressed with it. Movement sensors work great even managed to catch a bumblebee flying near by
This trail camera is so easy to setup and use. I love the high quality of the videos and photos it has taken outside my hedgehog nest boxes and feeding station. The audio is outstanding, I can hear my hedgehogs munching on their biscuits in the feeding station, while the camera is 3ft away outside. It also means I get a great dawn chorus.
Perfect Trail camera all around, let it for about a week with my other trail camera from the same company, and not disappointed in the results, shame i could only upload one video, as have lots of footage. if you are thinking about a Trail wildlife camera, look no further, excellent result and value for money. 5 stars all day long, easy to operate, view screen very clear.
I bought this camera as a way of detecting birds in my garden as well as what night time visitors may be coming into the field behind my house. It has worked brilliantly in both these respects. Beside my bird feeder I was able to catch close up images of woodpeckers, sparrows and blackbirds amongst other vistors which I couldn’t catch visually. It’s so great to see them close up in images! Set up over night, I captured pictures of badgers and foxes in the back field which I had never seen before. so exciting. I curretly have the camera set up above my driveway as a deterent against unwanted guests and it gives me piece of mind knowing that they would be captured if they did approach.
Really happy with this camera. The battery life is great, and the camouflage is more than adequate to allow close contact with passing wildlife.
This is a robust trail camera at a reasonable price for a quality product. I found the setup easy to follow in the instruction booklet with reminder inside the camera printed on the battery cover plate. (Some stilted English translation from Chinese) The camera is good quality with good video recording and has captured fast moving small rodents clearly. I have only used the camera over the past week so am unable as yet to comment on battery life but given the quality experienced so far I have no doubts battery life should be good. This will be in permanent use in my garden to capture wildlife movement and have no hesitation in recommending the purchase of this camera
his is my 6th trail cam, and unarguably the best so far… super sensitive setting gets any movement even a long ways away. the best image and video quality of any camera ive had, so you really do get what you pay for. customer service is very responsive. I would prefer it if they used bigger memory cards, but they work well, and if you include this in the price (as the card is included) then probably the best value as well as great images. see my test shots and video above…. easy to set time stamp and menu. all in all highly recommended.
We have purchased similar products but can honestly say this camera is so much better. It’s much easier to set up and the picture quality is much better. We have set it up just outside our house as we have foxes and badgers go up and down our road a lot but can’t wait to take it away when we do wild camping to see what we capture! Highly recommend.
The 4K video quality is truly Ultra HD and the photos are incredibly sharp and vivid at 32MP, making images not appear digital but analogue. I’ve fond its high definition most useful in post-production than any other camera, as even after zooming-in to capture happenings up close, everything can still be seen in crisp and clear detail, making it feel like you are right next to the action. The 2.4-inch color LCD screen is a great feature that makes setup and playback of images and videos a breeze.
Moreover, the fact that night vision is activated automatically, is a wonderful feature as it allows you to leave the camera rolling from day to night and automatically capture events in stunning clarity no matter the conditions. Honestly, I did not expect a night vision camera of this quality to be so affordable, and I am so happy that it is because it means you can buy several of them to position at multiple key locations, using the mounting strap included with each one. The UI is easy to use and comprehensive whether you are an experienced wildlife videographer/photographer or new to the field.
Finally, the fact that it also comes with a 32GB SD card is extremely generous and useful, just icing on the cake! Overall, I would highly recommend this camera to anyone who is interested in wildlife monitoring or home yard security. It truly is a five-star product in every way!
