Have just used the loppers to cut down two buddleia bushes and an escallonia all 30 year old. Used a saw for the thickest parts, but the loppers handled everything under 5 cms with ease. Very pleased.

These loppers are on the smaller size but sometimes you need that to get up close to what you are trimming and cutting. They are strong and the grip on them is very good.

Was pleasantly surprised with how strong these budget loppers are. I was using the chainsaw to cut back some trees then got the loppers out to cut up the branches ready for the tip, I was using the chainsaw for this too then got the loppers out and they were able to cut through 2cm wide branches, cutting through birch might take a couple of attempts with the high moisture in the branches but it gets thru eventually when I return to lopping once these rainy days clear I’ll upload a video showing the largest branch size they can cut thru.

They’ve dealt with raspberry bushes, brambles, honey suckle, ferns, random shrubs, rose bushes and trees effortlessly. Really can’t fault them, super comfy in the hands but they could do with being ever so slightly longer when trying to reach those hard to reach areas without being cut to death by brambles.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBrilliant, just what I needed. I’ve bought a couple off Amazon and they broke pretty much straight away. These are fantastic. They are still sharp even after hard use. Great value for money. Very happy. Saved me so much time using these.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super strong and sharp

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI liked the sharp blade that cuts through fairly thick branches with ease. On the downside, the blades do not open wide enough when extended and while trying to lop branches that are further away from the operator.

I have arthritis in my hands that make using secateurs challenging. Especially for thicker Pruning.
These loppers are much easier for me to use as they give more leverage and put less pressure on my hands.
They are pretty sharp and have cut branched over one inch in diameter.
So far I can only recommend them.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersAfter having previously purchased a cheaper pair of loppers (which lasted a couple of years before becomming unusable) I went for this pair – still not exactly overly expensive, but as much as I was willing to pay at the time.
First impressions are that the build quality is a level up from the cheaper pair – the handles have notches to make extending them easier, they seem sturdily built, and initial test lops were really good.
There’s also a spare blade and anvil, which would hopefully prolong the life of the loppers. I get quite heavy use from mine (several acres of woods and a large garden) and although time will tell how good they are, I’m certainly impressed so far.

This were just the size I hoped for and are easy to use.
I just could have done with them being a bit sharper to be able to cut through tougher woody branches.
    Worth the money.

I have a feeling these will rust very easily as they were already a tiny bit rusty when they arrived -_- but for 13 I guess I cannot complain. They did manage to cut up a lot of garden waste today, sliced through thick branches easily. So they are cool as they are very small and light weight and gave my pecs a good work out.. I am a professional gardener.
