Bought this as the Kindle covers don’t have stands at the back, it perfect, its adjustable and fold easily so can be put away in draw when not in use.

This has been a game changer! I love laying in bed reading my kindle books until I’m tired but holding my tablets been a nightmare. I’ve tryed some other tablet sands and cushion all have been a fail until this! And this has bar far been the cheapest one I’ve brought. Sturdy and strong. Highly recommend!

Bought one for 5.94 a couple of days ago, now 14.99. Lower price was comparable to the competition and seemed of similar quality, just cannot recommend at the inflated price. Others sell similar for as little as 4.99 on Amazon so if the price is still high look elsewhere.

The overall construction is fine but unstable if used on a tablet/Ipad portrait orientation unless you adjust the back stand to keep the tablet more vertical.

It is adjustable in many positions but if you push harder it will just fall over. You can, however, use a screwdriver and tighten the screws that will make it not adjustable but keep the position. Would have been nice to have a spin wheel to adjust the tightness though.

The stand is so easy to use and it fits different sized tablets. Tilt angle can be adjusted however you want. Also good quality and low price. I’m very happy from the purchase and I strongly recommend it.

I use this stand to support my tablet, kindle and phone, all of which are different sizes, It is very flexible and well designed in my opinion. It also folds up very compactly. This is the second one I have purchased now.

Brought two of these for kids to use with their fire tablets. I wouldn’t really say its versatile, but it holds an older version ipad. It does what it’s supposed to and is easy for them to use. It’s quite basic but it is sturdy and was a fair price for what it is.

My Mom had an eye op and after she fell over trying to balance her tablet I got her this. Since then she can comfortably sit down and not have to hold her tablet.

Needed a tablet stand for a large tablet. Paid a little more for this as it’s Amazon branded but worth it as it’s built to last and holds the tablet with easy. Will not topple over and has padding so not to scratch the tablet and to offer a little holding also

Cheap but totally Useful product. Holds my Samsung 12.4″ tablet well and even holds it safe when the cat jumps upon the table. Easy design to fold up for travel purposes. Would buy this again.

Smaller than expected – but holds a laptop open, fully flat standing vertically with the screen above the keyboard – remote keyboard being used, obviously – I can now have my laptop screen top level with my ultra-wide screen top and the laptop not having to lean precariously on the screen.
Good quality, supports more than you would think and folds away to nothing.

Neat compact little item, just what I wanted. It folds down quite small with no sharp edges and I can take it where I want, just drop in my handbag.

This item is sturdy so I can watch or read my fire tablet while laying down in my bed or, displaying recipes etc in kitchen.

You will not be disappointed, yes it is versatile and stable.

Purchasing my iPad Mini got me through Lockdown One. The Amazon Basics Adjustable Tablet Stand is used every single day with my iPad Mini for portrait and landscape use. Next time I fly / travel the first accessory I’ll pocket will be my iPad Mini, the second will be the Amazon Basics Adjustable Table Stand.

Delivers on all its promises. My iPad is stable thanks to chunks of foam glued to the touching points. Only concern is the glue used to attach the foam, it feels like heat and time won’t be its friends

Now that I have had this stand for nearly a year, I can say that it has been absolutely wonderful. It’s so versatile – it can be changed into so many positions and makes life on Zoom etc. so much easier. I have even had my yoga lessons with it and my teacher says I am the best of her students for enabling her to see what I am doing when I am standing/lying down/kneeling down just by adjusting my iPad a bit on the stand. I would highly recommend this if you want a compact stand that works really well.

This is so sturdy, when I rocked the table, unlike most of the stuff on it, this was steady and unmoved by the action. You can adjust both legs and also the back support to allow you to watch it from almost flat to upright. I particularly love watching You Tube and movies on this. It’s also very easy to set up. You’re not going to have any problems using this product at all!

5.0 out of 5 stars COMPLETE SATISFACTION IN A SMALL, COMPACT PACKAGE!

Best thing i bought during lockdown!! Superb for facetiming/ zoom conferencing !

Been a godsend! Lots of different options for adjustable sizing, i have an ipad mini, but if you have a tablet or bigger device it would work perfectly, easy to use.

Only downside is its tricky to have ipad charging whilst on the stand, it became a little wobbly , so I found i had to have ipad upside down. But on the whole. Does what is says on the tin, and folds up small so can take out with you to work etc!!

    9.5/10
    Worth it!

Purchased this stand as wanted it to work with my iPad whilst in a large protective case. The iPad fits perfectly, despite being significantly wider than an iPad without a case or with a slim case. I was so pleased with it, I ordered two more for my family. Everyone loves them. The quality feels great and it is very sturdy. Makes typing on the iPad much easier with two hands and is fully adjustable so you can get it at the perfect angle on different surfaces. Anti-slip too which is ideal. Would definitely recommend this item.

I bought a pair for angling up my Softube Console 1 unit, which is heavier than a tablet (hence the pair). Although in themselves a little flimsy, as a pair they have better stability for the job. If they came in aluminium they would be stellar and worth the extra.

I’d imagine for a tablet not being poked at a lot, for watching vide etc, it would be fine.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersTried many other integrated case/stands to hold my Samsung Tab A in portrait orientation. They all collapsed either flat or over backwards when tapping the screen.
    But not this one.
It holds my tablet in place no matter how hard you prod the screen (when playing games in portrait). It has non slip rubber strips on the feet so won’t slip around on smooth surfaces.
You do need a separate case (if you want one) but It securely holds the tablet and its case.
It folds up neatly to about 7″x 1″x 1″ so will easily fit in a pocket/handbag/briefcase.
It fits any size even phones and is infinitely adjustable to any angle.
I recommend this for anyone wanting to play games or read books in portrait on apps that do not auto rotate.
It can also be used a book stand if required although I haven’t tried it with very large books (because I don’t have any).
All in all terrific value for money.

I like to read while I am knitting. This stand allows me to do just this with my Kindle when I am sitting at a table. And I can fold it up and place it in my knitting bag. It is well made. So far so good.

The downside is that it is quite chunky for a kindle, a little bit of overkill for such a small device. For a larger tablet it would be ideal as this stand is very stable.

This stand completely lives up to its description. I love it; it’s so portable and I’m finding it useful in lots of situations, both for my 2 tablets and my e-reader. I’ve just ordered another one so that the wife doesn’t need to pinch mine when she’s reading her own tablet!

… and returning, later, to this review, I should just say that I’ve now bought three stands – there’s always one close at hand when I need it, no matter where in the house I am, and I’ve found it perfect for when I want to watch a movie on my iPad.

… it might make a neat Christmas present too …

This works perfect as a pocket stand for my Google Nexus 9. It also works well and folds up small enough to use with my Samsung Galaxy S4. Finally I also use it with my Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1. I bought 2 of them and keep one in my backpack all the time so I always have one with me. Build quality is better than normal China made. Joints and connections are firm and consistent.
Buy a couple of them they’re so cheap that you won’t go wrong.

    Good, inexpensive tablet stand.
Can hold a number of different sized phones/tablets and is adjustable – meaning your stand can be positioned to display your device at a number of angles. This is very convenient as it means it can be used for a number of different situations like watching a movie or using word processing software.
The main problem with the stand is it’s durability (or lack thereof!). On a few occassions the legs of the stand would come loose/fall off. Can be fixed by tightening the screws on the stand every once and a while when it becomes loose but this is not something you would expect you’d have to do with a tablet stand!
Overall, a decent stand but could benefit from a higher build quality.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersAfter leaning my Kindle against a wobbly stack of items so that I could read hands-free, I imagined I would have to do the same when my tablet arrived. But then a friend and I came upon this clever device in a cafe where the owner stood her tablet on this stand to sum up bills. She was so pleased with it that she showed us how it worked. I am also delighted with it as it adjusts perfectly to my Kindle and 10″ tablet. The angle of the stand can be altered from nearly upright to tilted back. The legs can stand slightly apart (suits Kindle or phone) to wide for a large tablet. The rubbery strip on the underside of the legs means the legs are slip-resistant. It also compacts when folded to a lightweight 7″ x 1″ x 1″ – easy to carry in a bag or case. It seems well-made and I would recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’m a student at Oxford from the U.S. for the semester, and this is the second AmazonBasics Adjustable Tablet Stand I’ve bought; keep reading if you want to know why.

I came here with my iPad and to my horror, I had forgotten the tablet stand. (among other things; I really must learn a more efficient/realistic way to pack)

This thing deserves five stars and I’ll tell you why:
    1. It works with my kindle, my partner’s kindle fire, my iPad, my iPhone, certain books, and just about anything I want to lean on it. The list goes on.
    2. It’s sturdy– no longer must I live in fear that my iPad (or other sensitive device) will tip over to its death all because I wanted to watch netflix.
    3. It’s compact; it pops down into nearly nothing in the blink of an eye, making it easy to transport (you know, when you remember it)
    4. It’s affordable. I’m not sure you’ve priced tablet stands, but cruddy ones cost more than they should in most cases.

So when I arrived in this lovely country and discovered that I’d left my tablet stand back in the states, I logged on and ordered another one because it works that well and I like it that much.

My partner appreciated my forgetfulness– because now he has my old one. Buy this now.

I recieved this about 15 minutes ago and have opened it and tested it. It works well with my 4th gen full size ipad. I can use it and keep the case on which is great. The reason I gave this 4 stars is because already a small piece of plastic snapped off while I was closing it. Hopefully it was unimportant but be careful with it. Also I am quite clumsy so that is probably why. It does not look too sturdy so again be careful. If you want something better just spend 5 more. It will be ok for now but I will probably buy a new one that is better in a couple months. Delivery was quick, it came well packaged and folded up. It is tiny (when folded), perfect for taking on holiday in hand luggage or a suitcase. If you want something cheap, small and foldable then look no further.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI was looking around for a stand for my new Kindle Fire HD 8.9″, This size Kindle Fire is quite heavy. I had bought a Bluetooth keyboard for it in a case which was ok to leave the Kindle Fire in for reading and playing games but I had to take out the keyboard to make the case slimmer to fit on the stand. The stand can safely hold a naked Kindle e-reader or Kindle Fire too. The pictures don’t show how versatile it is.

When I spotted this stand I knew the cost would not break the bank, if it would not work with my Kindles the way I wanted it too it could always serve in the kitchen.

When it arrived in its basic Amazon box I used a knife to slice carefully along the white label stuck around the cardboard container and wondered how big it actually was as the box was small. The stand is of course folded up in the box and measures 7 inches L x 1 inch W x 1.25″ deep. Small enough to slip in a medium/large handbag or backpack.

The top part which has an Amazon emblem on the front end has a joint in the middle of its length.

I lifted the part with the Amazon emblem on it up first by one notch at the front end, this I’ll call the top piece.

Underneath are the two base pieces, these move outwards to form a V shape. One notch out on each side makes the grooves 2.5″ apart. Ideal for a Kindle Fires that are 7″, the Basic Kindle, Touch and e-reader both portrait and landscape and along with the Kindle Keyboard just portrait.

Moving the base pieces a notch more outwards on each side makes the gap measure 4.5″ the maximum, which is perfect for a landscape Kindle Keyboard and the 8.9″ Kindle Fire either landscape or portrait.

The Top piece we have only lifted one notch at its front end up to now. Now if you lift the back part five notches so it is almost standing straight up but leaning forward with the front part of the top piece pointing straight up it is ideal for the Kindle Keyboard standing upright. The Kindle Keyboard like the Kindle Fires can have four way orientation but the orientation has to be manually set. Thus no problems with the position of its power socket.

The 8.9″ Kindle Fire is quite heavy but this stand can take it and with the stand on a firm flat surface I played Reversi, did some small jigsaws and played the Candy Crush Saga game. I cannot say the Kindle Fire did not move while I was touching and swiping the screen but it was in no danger of falling over. Likewise swiping the screen to turn pages.

I tried out both sizes of Kindle Fires also A Basic, a Touch and the Kindle Keyboard e-readers ALL IN THEIR CASES, remember the 8.9 fire was in a thicker case. They all fitted in the grooves and did not slip even without their cases.

The grooves and the underneath part of the upper part of the top piece have a layer of what feels like very, very dense small bubbled foam rubber, very smooth, which stops the Kindles sliding but also protects the Kindle devices themselves. Also covered are the underneath of the base pieces and there is a quite small piece on the bottom “heel” of the stand. If this perished I am sure something could be found to replace it and could be stuck on to the plastic.

The flat parts of the top of the base pieces including a bit of the joint parts are 6″ long and the top piece measures the same but remember it is jointed in the middle, both upper and lower parts of this top piece can be put in different positions.

IT IS WONDERFULLY VERSATILE and I am already thinking what else it could be used for.

It holds the 8.9″ screened Kindle Fire beautifully both in portrait mode and landscape. The stand is black, the Kindle Fire is black and so is the case it lives in. It looked like a mini television as I watched BBCiplayer. None of the Kindle Fire’s switches and speakers are covered by the plastic of the stand. Remember the case it is in is fairly chunky as it includes a thin Keyboard most of the time. I removed the keyboard and the case and KIndle Fire fitted safely on the stand.

I could touch the screen to adjust things while the Fire was on the stand although it is would be best to get the volume right before choosing a TV channel and putting it on the stand.

Power and Data socket – My preference is for a cable with USB one end and a right angled (90 degree) MicroUSB plug at the other instead of the straight ended plug that comes with the Kindle devices when they are first bought.

Lindy 31976 – 1 metre USB 2.0 Cable – Type A to Micro-B – 90 angle 7-02. (The 2 Metre cable is 92p. more, there is a half meter cable at 6.82). The original white Kindle cable is nearly 10-00.

With this stand the base pieces are three quarters of an inch high and thus are taller than the right angled plug so if the sockets are at the bottom of the device when the plug is pushed in the Kindle the cable is diverted neatly to the right of the device instead of coming straight forward out of the device and so is not pushing the Kindle backwards.

Note. I use a 2 metre cable (6ft 6ins.) to plug the Kindle Fire into an Amazon USB charger plug in a mains socket while I am using the Kindle Fire indoors. The shorter one is great for data transfers and connections to a laptop USB socket.

HDMI Socket – My TV does not have the corresponding socket so I don’t use this socket and unfortunately the right handed MicroUSB end of the power cable obstructs the HDMI socket. Of course the Kindle Fire may be able to operate upside down for some apps.

One good thing about the Kindle Fires is their orientation capability so you can always be sure that when they are on these stands that the sockets are clear in case you want to use them. And of course a Kindle standing on one of these stands while justbbeing charged is safer than flat on a shelf or where it could be stood on.

I have two of the cables by Lindy, though there are cheaper to be found. One is one meter long and the other two metres long. The same company do make a half metre one too. Both are over 2. cheaper than the replacement e-reader cables.

Well it’s another long review but I hope I have explained how versatile the stand is and that it easily copes with the weight of the 8.9″ Kindle Fire and the narrowness of a naked Basic Kindle e-reader.

    Buy One.

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersThe stand is quite big and is made of study plastic.

The base is adjustable to fit smaller devices or can be widened to hold larger devices.

This stand has a adjustable holder at the back which is great for getting the angle of the tablet just right, and the holder has rubber on it so it won’t scratch the back of your tablet. There is also rubber on the bottom to stop the stand sliding about.

I have noticed that if you press the screen quite hard you can cause the holder to change viewing angle.

There appears to be the exact same stand without the amazon brand name selling on amazon cheaper than this but I have not used it so cannot compare.

If you have a small device it will work with this stand but I think you’re better off getting a smaller and cheaper stand but for large devices this is great and I recommend it.

The stand is like an easel and makes viewing – especially of videos and streamed content in Landscape orientation – much more comfortable. It folds up into a small unit and then adjusts out through a series of firm click-stop graduations to potentially accommodate what I would imagine to be a wide range of devices; there’s plenty of adjustment for large and small tablets. It is sturdy – and stabilises the device more than a folding cover. The price won’t break the bank either, so it represents reasonable value because it is a good product.

On the downside, Amazon – for the first time in the twelve years I have been buying from them – did not honour their estimated date of delivery; this item was two days late. That may be due to the mail struggling to get back to normal after the Christmas period – or it may be a sign that their supply chain is starting to slip a bit. However, at the end of the day, the delivery delay is no reflection on the item.

Has it improved the use of my Kindle Fire HD? Yes, it has – and that’s what counts. Therefore, if you want a table-top easel for your tablet – and are not in a breakneck hurry – then this is probably at least as good as any other solution, in my opinion.
