Lovely laptop bag, I’ve got a 17″ laptop, with cables, mouse etc and it all fits lovely with a load more room fit lots of other things you may need. Even comes with a cross body strap too! Lovely quality. Bargain fir the price I paid.
Having had good experiences with Amazon basics products I decided to pick up this laptop bag to transport my heavy HP ProBook laptop, Ipad, and various bits of audio equipment, and this does the job perfectly!
It actually took me a while to figure out that there are THREE separate compartments instead of two!
The only things I would personally like to see would be some slightly deeper pockets in the middle compartment, and the shoulder strap attachment buckles are made from sturdy plastic, I don’t think they’ll break any time soon but they do squeak annoyingly when the bag is heavy.
Having said that, I really can’t complain considering the price, definitely recommend!
No soft padding for the actual laptop itself. Plenty of room, except in the front. Granted I have a pretty thick laptop power supply but it should be able to at least fit the laptop and it’s charger.
I’ve never had a problem with the AmazonBasics brand and this purchase was just as good as all of their other products.
Fits my large HP Open laptop without issue. It’s nice to have some extra padded storage so this laptop case is very welcome.
Really good for the price, fits the laptop, mouse and power cable easily. I don’t think it would withhold aeroplane storage or anything like that but for general use it’s ideal.
My wife bought me this for a present, I needed something light, with ample pockets as I visit various sites and sometimes have this on my shoulder for hours. My laptop fits perfectly, i have enough room for additional papers and some small equipment.
I’ve had this same case for my old laptop for over 7 years and it looks brilliant, it could still pass as brand new. So knew this was the case I needed for my new laptop too. Good variety or compatments, its lightweight in itself without the laptop. Adustable strap is great for going back and forth and overall its a great basic laptop case that does what it says on the tin. I would recommend
I had been looking for a laptop bag for my new laptop for a while and couldn’t find anything that suited. I came across the and it is perfect, it fit’s my laptop and accessories as well as other notes/folders I often need for work. The pockets are plentiful and very useful. I have been using this bag every day for months and still holding up extremely well. Couldn’t recommend it any further.
Great purchase and carries everything I need. Time will tell on durability being tossed around airport security & in & out of the car but it seems well made so should last. Would buy agai
I found this bag to be an excellent replacement and a good fit for my 17.3″ HP laptop. There is adequate storage for documents, plugs etc and it cannot be beaten on price. There is a handle and shoulder strap and zips, seams etc are sturdy.
I would have liked it available in colours other than black, but I attached a pound shop, vibrant coloured, butterfly key ring to personalise it and make it stand out from other black bags
Needed a new laptop bag as had purchased a 17.3″ model which wouldn’t fit in my old bag. Like this bag a lot, nice shoulder strap so easy to carry and has ample space for the computer, charger and mouse together with scale rulers, marker pens, note books, and other office equipment I need to take with me when working freelance in the offices of others.
My partner has been using this for a few weeks now and has had no issues so far. He tends to carry a lot of paperwork and extra bits with him, so we specically ordered this bag as it was bigger than his actual laptop (so that he could have that extra space rather than carrying two bags).
This bag its nice and wide so you can fit in lots of extras, such as plastic folders, portable mouse, charging cables, stationary etc… and it seems to be well made and durable.
I’d happily recommend this, for the price especially. It’s got good storage capacity and a good amount of padding to protect my laptop. It was hard to find a reasonably priced one at this size but I’m very happy I got this one
Apart from the flimsy internal dividing pocket which splits the bag into 2 compartments the bag did the job. The divider seems to get in the way when putting my laptop into the bag. Also a little more padding on the outside would have been nice but OK for normal, sensible use and storage. Provided your not going to throw into your car boot or drop the bag its fine. The zip and carrying strap fixings are good so I feel confident carrying the laptop around.
I bought this for my son to transport his laptop too and from school. I was amazed at the price, especially for the quality of the bag. Our previous bag (which had worn out) was made of the same material, but a lot more expensive! This appears to be very durable, easy for him to carry round and fits and holds his laptop perfectly. It also have space to carry his other necessary bits and pieces for the project he is doing.
We were a bit surprised that there isn’t any straps to hold a laptop in place, but other than this we are very pleased with this bag which is large enough to keep our laptop together with the mouse, external hard drive & numerical pad, as well as the fan base and still have room in the various pockets for other things.
It is well made & we would recommend it to anyone wanted a reasonably priced laptop bag.
For a Amazon Basic i give this 9 out of 10, because i only ask that you change the lock for the straps to perhaps something stronger then plastic 🙂

This is a well made padded bag – not clamshell, so the main zip doesn’t open up all the way round, but enough to easily insert the player without it catching on anything.
Inside the main compartment there are two full size side pockets to store other pieces of kit.
On the outside of the bag are two further zippered, padded sections, one is easily big enough for an A4 sized book or device, with further smaller pockets inside big enough for mouse, phones, remote control etc.
The other zippered pocket easily big enough for a Kindle Fire, tablet or a couple of Paperwhite sized e-readers.
Smart, reinforced webbing carrying handles and an adjustable, detachable shoulder strap which connects firmly to the well anchored D rings attached to the main body of the bag.
Construction, materials and attention to detail all worthy of a much higher priced item. Glad I got this, it’s ideal.
he bag is increadibly spacious and well built for its price but it does get very uncomfortable on your shoulder when carried around for longer periods. I dont know how long the clios will last as they are made of plastic but they seem pretty strong. In addition the shoulder strap can be swapped with a different one which would make it way more comfortable.

Only reason it lost a star is due to it saying ‘Amazon Basics’ on the side. Come on Amazon, surely your Marketeers can come up with a better name than basics!!
Being the laptop bag snob I am I end up turning the bag round when I put it on the floor which is BONKERS
This LapTop Bag is really Great Value for Money. My Computer fits in beautifully and there is plenty of room for Mouse, Mouse Pad etc. in the front zipped pocket.
I have read some of the other reviews and their complaints and to put it politely they are incorrect.
This is a Fantastic Bag and at the price you can not buy a better LapTop Bag.
The strap is strong and comfortable on the shoulder and it is fully adjustable. My 17 inch LapTop fits perfectly and the top Zip completely fastens and does not snag on the computer at all.
Overall I would Highly Recommend this LapTop Bag to one and all.
