Really fast shipping. Good value for money and really easy to use. Other reviews say they bend when trying to put them in the ground but just be aware that if you take care they can be pushed into the ground easily. Used them to hold down fleece and weed membrane in the garden and they did the job well
This item was left on step but Amazon said it was handed to resident they are liars they couldn’t even be bothered ringing the door bell they are just getting worse. The item are good but you do need a hammer as Some can be difficult going in weed cove
I recently purchased the ANSIO Weed Control Membrane Garden Pegs, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with their performance. This 100-pack of 6-inch galvanized pegs is perfect for securing various garden fabrics, artificial grass, and netting.
The pegs are sturdy, sharp enough and well-made, with a U-shaped design that provides excellent hold in the ground. They penetrate the soil easily and stay firmly in place, even in windy conditions. The galvanized coating adds durability, preventing rust and ensuring long-lasting use.
Using these pegs has made my gardening projects much more manageable. They hold down weed control membranes and landscape fabric securely, reducing the need for constant adjustments. They’ve also been fantastic for keeping my artificial grass and garden netting neatly in place.
Overall, the ANSIO Garden Pegs offer great value for the price, with a large quantity and good size that meets all my gardening needs. I highly recommend these pegs to anyone looking for reliable and durable garden stakes.
I’ve needed a good few hundred of these types of peg whilst I do major landscaping work to my garden. Earlier packs were different makes and were either flimsy or rusted instantly. These have really held up and are much better priced for what you get.
I’ve used Ansio pegs before, so when I needed some for a membrane retaining project on my new allotment plot I didn’t hesitate in ordering myself a pack of 100. They’re a sensible 6in long, they’re a nice heavy gauge (50 of em weigh over 1.8Kg), their ends are pointed for easy penetration and they’re galvanised for longevity – what more could you want? If you’re looking for some membrane pegs, then look no further because these Ansio ones are the dogs doodahs – and they’re reasonably priced too!
These pegs are much stronger for pinning down weed membrane cloth. The plastic ones are a wasted and false economy. These are easy to use, can be used again if changes are required at some time, and much more reliable than any others we have tried. Worth having.
Not overly wide but not so narrow that hey won’t hold.
Galvanised for longer life, how long only time will tell but if used seasonally they should last many years.
Pointed ends not needed , if you hit a stone the point won’t do anything anyway.
Nice and long so they stay put, the bridge is wide enough for a claw hammer so you can pull them out with relative ease.
I do not recommend using a metal hammer when putting them in, it’s far better if you hold a cloth over the bridge ,( or it hurts your hand after a while ) push as far as possible then use a long piece of wood wider than the staple and while standing you can hammer them home, do not use excessive force you will bend the legs, far better moving them two inches either side and try again.
Perfect, job done.
Used the weed membrane all around my garden and it’s all securely down with theses steel pins, much better than the plastic pegs, not got bent or snapped, good produc
Well, those pegs are sturdy; ok, the bend a bit if they hit a rock but can be “unbend” easy and use alright.
Just right size (length etc.). Keep weed suppressing fabric on the ground like a charm. Highly recommended.
Exactly what I wanted to go with the membrane. I have used them with the ‘washer’ style circular system to hold down temporary matting and on their own under stones.
I use these metal pegs for a number of things like securing garden netting to ground. I also use them with the prongs pointing upwards to keep the cat’s of freshly dug soil.
Secured weed suppression membrane in my allotment – perfect for the job! Reordered another box of them as found one box of pegs is good for about 50m2 of membrane so I ran out!
I bought these to peg down the bottom of a mesh fencing to stop my puppy getting under it. Worked very well and easy to hammer in. Have also used them to peg down a waterproof membrane in the garden. Lots of uses for them!
The staples are well made and well finished and I’m sure will give long service. However, if you buy them, take great care when handling them. On unpacking them, opening the plastic bag and starting to remove a staple I received quite a deep stab in the end of my thumb. The staple ends are cut at an angle and are similar to the end of a hypodermic needle! You can see it on the product photo. This will no doubt help them to penetrate hard ground easier but I really think a warning sticker should be put on the packaging.
