I wanted to create a small splashback area behind my job, where I’d removed a plastic splashback and repainted. This did the trick perfectly. With clear instructions, I simply trimmed one edge and got sticking! Sheets can but cut to slot in. Am edging with some trim to finish it off.
They looks really realistic, stick and fit pretty quickly and easily (with a bit of concentration) and 1 month in have all stayed stuck down and undamaged.
Only con is that they tear quite easily along the “grouting” when applying them but that only happened when I had to slightly adjust the position when a small section had already stuck slightly to the wall so more my fault but otherwise they are quite easy to remove and reapply if you haven’t properly stuck them down yet which makes positioning easier.
Obviously the pic isn’t the finished wall but this section was 2 packs worth and took me about half an hour not including cleaning and drying the tiles first (important to do!)
Definitely worth reading the instructions as they give some good tips on how to make things easier and look more realistic.
These tiles have totoallu transformed our new kitchen and well worth the money.
After trying several tile stickers, these were the best quality, look good, easy to apply and very adhesive. Only negative was that a couple of them tore, so need to be very gentle when applying. Overall finished look is very good.
Recently had a new fire fitted and the back panel got cracked. Was quoted 150 to replace. However, 2 packs of these sticky tiles (50) covered the crack perfectly and actually looks far nicer than the back panel did originally! Very pleased with the effect and took very little effort to fit. Planning to spruce up my kitchen next! Excellent product.
I purchased these at the sale price of 16 a pack I believe , i wouldnt have paid full price for them as it is very expensive.
Absolutely amazing . Takes a steady hand and patience with the cutting in but other then that very easy to use . Completly transformed my kitchen.
Now having fitted these they do the job and look good. However unfortunately in artificial light there is a slight difference in color it seems to be a creamy cover and unfortunately I am not going to purchase another pack of 10 to replace the rogue tile.
I’m very satisfied with the quality, I didn’t know what to expect but it’s definitely an amazing product. Sticks to tiles so well it’s actually challenging to remove it. One thing is you have to be careful because it’s easy to break the sheet when you remove the foil before the application and tiles can disconnect. Other than that everything is great!
Great looking product, great at going around corners. Can be very tricky to put on the wall, the adhesive is very strong and you have little chance for error once it’s down almost impossible to adjust. I have them behind my gas hob and so far I have had no issues with discolouration, blistering or any other heat-related problems. Wipes clean with a damp cloth.
Overall a great product, not sure if I would have the patience to do a large area.
I was very pleased with the product overall. It’s a great alternative to tiles if you’re on a budget. The tiles are much thicker than expected which is great because have they more structure. They are still easy to cut with scissors. Bit tricky cutting around plugs but that’s not due to the product. If you use sealant around the plugs it gives a really nice finish. Would recommend!
I ordered these to spruce up my boyfriends kitchen as although it’s a fairly new beautiful kitchen, the previous owners didn’t install any splash back tiling.
Things I learned from this project
Measure twice, cut once
You can cut these with scissors, don’t mess about with a craft knife and cutting board like I did, but use a ruler for straight lines!
Buy more than you need and keep the spares
If you’re doing this with your partner be prepared to lose respect for their intelligence or vice versa (in my case this settled our debate over who is the clever one in the relationship, it’s not me)
These are really fantastic, we used 2 packets for his kitchen which is slightly larger than average, but we did almost run out after I messed up 2 of the pieces by cutting it wrong! Watch out for plug sockets and wonky walls!
A great DIY for kitchen walls that really works for those of us that cant do DIY. The tiles are easy to put on the wall and even going around the plug sockets are doable if you take your time and keep measuring, before taking the backing off the tile . Curved walls are a doddle and the glue on the back of the tiles really sticks. I would defiantly buy more of them if I could find somewhere that would benefit from them.
I added these around my breakfast bar, to help with marks from my children from eating, works very well I would buy extra spray glue for the extra hold. Very good buy
Super happy with how it looks and how easy it was to cut to size. Application was kind of tricky because the adhesion is very strong (a plus in the long run) and I definitely got annoyed at one point and didn’t line things up as well as I could have, but since the tiles are quite glossy it doesn’t really show unless someone is standing very close to the wall. Have had this on my wall for a month now and everything is still perfectly in place even near the sink and stove area.
Wanted a quick, easy wipe clean wall covering for my storage/laundry cupboard. This was easy to use, you have to have a patient steady hand to get lines to match & need good sharp scissors to cut (as you can see from my photos I was a bit messy but I was doing it as quick as possible & the wall sides aren’t super straight) but once I put everything back in my storage cupboard it was fine.
Bought a pack as a fund friendly way to do my kitchen wall as I can’t afford to tile.
I made the mistake of buying one pack but for 35 a pack I wanted to be sure what I was getting. Seeing that some people have bee restricted to one pack due to high demand I may have had to be stuck with one anyways. I guess they sell out often as there’s been a lot of feedback on that and they’re currently sold out 🙁
They’re simple to use, but make sure you measure accurately when it comes to fitting around obstacles like sockets and be mindful of the pattern as discrepancies can show. The adhesive isn’t strong in my opinion so I used adhesive spray. Just be mindful of what will happen in the event of taking them off, they will take off what’s underneath. Also keep any off cuts for filling fiddly gaps.
Also the seller does state in the details they shouldn’t be situated near stoves (why the example picture does idk) so consider where you’re planning to put them.
On the whole they look good, simple to use and are as described. My only complaint is what is used as the “grout” has shed off in a section but I can probably cover with an off cut. Just hope the come back in stock again soon as I need more packs to finish.
They were pretty easy to line up and stick on the wall, however, when it came to the corners and having to cut parts out of it for plug sockets, it turned into a small nightmare.
I bought 3 packs which would have been plenty. I should’ve had at least half a pack left over but a lot of stickers were damaged, either in the tile itself or the grouting was coming off which made the whole piece unusable which was quite upsetting as these stickers were not exactly cheap.
I’d definitely never do anything like this again as it’s just so much work trying to cut around everything and also extremely frustrating as so many stickers were damaged.
I found these easy to use and good quality.
Instructions are easy to follow and once you get the first few on they are very straightforward from then on.
Easy enough to cut around sockets/switches – I isolated the power, removed the socket(s), placed the vinyl over the gap and cutout the space before re-attaching the socket cover.
Covered quite a big section of wall and happy with how it turned out.
Wasn’t sure when I went for these, but for the area I had to cover I decide to try a pack, they are simple to use, fiddly in tight areas or around sockets. The wall needs to be one colour, preferably white and flat. Imperfections to a point will show through. The coverage is not very great as you have to cut to size where needed and as usual the off cuts do not really fit any where else. My problem is I only bought one pack and need more, with non available.
They are quick to use and you don’t need any finishing grout. And with preparation a decent result.
