I used this unit to diagnose and reset faults on my FIAT Ducato based Camper Van. It was incredibly easy to use, just a case of plugging it in and switching it on. All the comms setup happened automatically. I was able to read the DPF and EGR faults and reset them within a few minutes. I would recommend this unit to anyone thinking of getting an OBD reader.
This was able to tell me what was wrong with my van, when the garage couldn’t find the fault. Intuitive and quick, it saved me a lot of stress and hassle and garage fixed the faulty sensor under warranty.
Really a top quality bit of kit ,a must to have for any car holder, sorted all the problems on my car , very pleased ,as a none mechanical minded person I found it very easy to use , five stars from me.
Good price and delivered quickly. The unit works exactly as described. Ensure you update the software and spend a little time reading the online manuals and perhaps some online videos to make sure you get the most from this.
A friend recommended the brand and I was not dissapointed. The quality is great and it works well. I was able to diagnose the issue with my car and get it fixed. Now I scan regularly to keep on top of any problems I might have.
Easy to use machine just plug and play and it does what it meant to do read the codes..it even erase my engine light after when I fixed the problem I’m more than. Happy with the machine
The scanner is easy to use and a lot more reliable than my previous scanner. It saves so much time and money checking my car at home instead of having to take it to the garage all the time. Bought to use on my Mercedes but it works on all the family cars
This product is an amazing piece of equipment, and so unbelievably easy to use, ONCE YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.
This tool is 100% invaluable for the man or woman with a bog standard, basic understanding of mechanical engineering. I’m almost 70 years old and if I can use it so can you.
BRILLIANT VALUE FOR MONEY.
It has already saved me 100’s of pounds.
Have used a few cheap code readers in the past but none are comparable with this unit. Comprehensive for home/DIY use, easy to use and the included instructions are comprehensive. Have used it a couple of times on my son’s Astra and diagnosed the faults correctly and rectified at reasonable cost instead of garage prices. Thoroughly recommend and my experience with communicating with the supplier has been positive. Also like to add, the ‘code look-up’ feature is a bonus and gives possible solutions to the problem. Comes with tidy carry case too.
It’s hard to say it’s value for money but since I’ve already tried 2 scanners and neither worked with my Peugeot 307 1.6 hdi I was extremely pleased that I could get this to connect. There are scanners that are specifically for Peugeot/Citroen but they are 100+ and at that price you may as well go to a garage and get them to do it. As you can see my car isn’t at its best (12 faults) but actually 5 of them were duplicates. This read all my faults (I haven’t tried clearing them yet) and shows live data so I can get a fuller picture of what’s going on with my car. Again after trying twice with cheaper scanners (20 – 30) I’m pleased and relieved that this works.
bought this due to my car’s check engine light was on after a major engine repair . Brought the car back to garage to recheck, they gave me two fault codes, and told me another part need to be replaced , so I had the car back , plugged the OBD II scanner to the car, there’s an additional code apart from 2 codes the garage gave me, combine all the DTC information on the scanner, also did some search online for similar issues on same car model, it turned out to be another part rather than the one garage told me (which is more expensive to replace due to time needed for the job). This is the first OBD II scanner I ever bought, and it didn’t let me down, already saved me quite a lot money , definitely recommend it to car owners!
