BIC Orange ballpoint pen is just excellent. The line is fine and thin, not smudgy, comfortable and lasts forever. I got used to these Orange pens at work, later the company stopped ordering them and ordered the transparent thicker BIC pens, but the ink line was too thick, smudged occasionally and it was too fiddly to use, especially when completing paper forms or ticking check-boxes. Afterwards I always insisted that the employer orders the Orange pens for the stationary cupboard. Now that I am retired, I still use these pens – they’re difficult to find in Supermarkets, so I’m glad I can get them from Amazon. They are cheap enough to keep one in every handbag, hagning off the wall calendar, on every desk, and anywhere else I need to use a pen regularly.
I know it sounds weird to be so enthusiastic about a simple ball-pen, but the BIC Orange pen is a perfectly designed product in my view and worth lots of praise: comfortable, writes a good quality fine line, lasts a long time, doesn’t smudge, and – when the ink gets to the end, it doesn’t start and stop like many other pens, it just stops – that’s it, and you get the next one from the box. Reliable, great value and does exactly what it is supposed to do very well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve tried / bought many pens over my life (inc very expensive ones) and none compare to these. If you like a fine, crisp biro pen line these are for you. Now I have a whole box to last me!

Tried many biro pens over the years but always come back to the trusty Bic pen. Takes me back to school days Use the pen for writing/drawing and even a rolled up, soggy paper shooter . Lasts for ages.

I have not had the time, or inclination to try every single pen in the box, but from what I’ve tried they worked fine.
The box was oppen and crushed on arrival but the pens were all there and intact.
I would have preferred blue ink but these were significantly cheaper.

Searched everywhere for these BIC Fine point pens
Bought a box of 20 so should last me a long time
Used daily they seem to last a very long time. Maybe due to only writing fine and using less ink, who knows.
Im happy to get these at a great price and super fast delivery time.

I got these because I was looking for a black roller ball with a fine nib. These pens have just that. They write just fine but frequently there is pooling of ink at the nib which can make work smudgy and it can make the ink take time to dry. I’ll stick with the 1mm in future.

Golden Review Award: 92 From Our UsersThese are certainly the best pens on the market and following my earlier review I am now pleased to provide further support for their wider use in the community. I became engaged just over a year ago and our wedding took place in in June of this year. My wife’s mother had insisted we all dressed formally so I had to purchase the full morning suite from Moss Bros. The trousers were a little too long for me so they agreed to shorten them. Unfortunately the shop assistant wrote, using my BIC PEN, 30cm and not 30inches on the instructions from the tailor. I picked up the whole suit on the morning of the wedding and with no time to change had to walk up the aisle with the formal striped trousers terminating just above my knees, showing my hairy calfs and socks. The mother in law was not pleased. However, I did eventually get a refund from Moss Bros, apparently they send this trouser length to their Norwich branch where for some reason a lot of midgets reside in that area and an inside leg length of 30cm fits fine. I am not blaming the use of the BIC pen for the tailoring error but thought this story would provide useful background information for those considering buying

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was forever searching for a pen on all sorts of occasions. The phone would ring. I would answer. During the conversation that ensued some kind of writing implement was required. On far too many occasions no such implement could be found. There were occasions when I made the caller wait whilst I searched for something. Anything at all that could be used to take down pertinent notes. On one or more occasions the caller had very relevant information that they needed to impart to me but I did not have any means of recording the relevant information. I was very pleased to find these Bic orange original fine ballpoint pens. On reading their purpose I bought them with very little hesitation and now I am well equipped on any occasion when information needs to be recorded. The bic orange original fine ballpoint pen is ideal to make meaningful but interpretative marks on any available surface for future reference. I loved the idea so much that I bought a big box of the things. Now whenever I am required to record anything of great importance I turn to the BIC Orange FineBallpoint Pen and I suggest that you do too. Now I need to find a suitable surface on which to use my remarkable BIC Orange Fine Ballpoint Pen.

We have had these pens before but I have struggled recently to buy any of this particular ‘fine’ type at popular retailers after our regular ‘family owned’ stationer closed due to retirement. I had noted customer reviews on Amazon before I ordered. Yes, each pen came with a tiny bar code label but these came off without any trouble leaving only a very little residue sticky stuff on the pens which I removed easily with some proprietary sticky stuff remover which we keep as a matter of course for this type of issue. Not a big problem in any case. I tried every pen and all 20 wrote first time. We keep a pot of 7 or 8 BIC ‘fine’ pens on the kitchen window sill but I leave pens all over the house after I have picked one up from the pot. I have just replenished the pot after some older BIC pens ran out of ink. I had got to the stage where I was struggling to find a pen. This practice of leaving pens lying around annoys my wife and every so often I collect them up and put them back into the pot but it is great to be able to pick up a pen whichever room I am in when the phone rings or when in front of the computer and still have some in the pot. These BIC pens are excellent everyday workhorses so I am pleased with my purchase and they are just the ticket. Can fully recommend.
