Good items that I brought for baby as I realised they could only see black and white for first 6months in Life, and I wanted my baby to explore as many different items that they can see whilst they are young. Kept my baby entertained, variety of books included and decent pricing.
Baby was able to track these very early on, front and back page are crinkle pages. Book doesn’t stay open on its own they all have little tags on so we were able to attach a few to baby’s Moses basket, he enjoys looking at them and hitting at them from time to time
He loves all of them except the insect one which actually made him cry, only thing was they are designed in a way that the pages don’t open on any but the centre if you put it down. I got around this by slitting it between the bars of his crib
What can I say, baby’s love the feel, sound and look of these.
Ideal for baby’s learning and development. Overall, a good product and priced well.

Babies are believed to only see black and white for the first 6 months or so, and these books are a great way to introduce the conceit of story time, attract them visually,while at the same time let ten explore textures and get used to patterns. Well made too. Easy to wash. Can recommend.
It’s one of useful toy for little one, baby can only see black and white when they are little and it is perfect to give to them. It’s also a washable material and can make noise to attract baby, my little one is only 6 weeks old, still won’t read but will be attracted by noise when they grab it.
These black and white books are amazing for tummy time woth baby and they keep her attention really well. She loves to suck on them which is great because she is a dribbler so this keeps her dry and at the end of the day we just throw them in the washing machine.

These are great for young babies as they can only see black and white clearly to start with. You get 6 books all different themed to aid with learning. The books are soft and can be held easily and won’t hurt the baby whilst they play.

Friends of mine are having a baby in the New Year. If you follow my reviews, you already know this, but I wouldn’t object to being godmother so I’ve been splurging recently on all things baby.
This black and white book is lovely. I suspect it’s easier for baby eyes to process than anything with a whole host of colours. It’s well made, and easy to clean – you can tell from the feel of it. And, given that it’s probably going to last a long time, I’d say it’s good value for money.

These are brilliant for newborns and babies up to about 1 year is day. Newborns love black and white and my little one will stare at these for ages. They are really soft and easy to clean because you can just pop them in the washing machine.
The books come in a little bag which is good for storage. The black and white images on the books are bold and easy to see for little ones.
The front and back page of each book has a crinkle sound and feel to them too.
The tussles on each book also makes it great to attach them to baby gyms or even a pram or highchair!
I’d imagine they would be easy to wash in the washing machine and hang to dry.
Very happy with them and my 2 month old enjoys looking at the pictures too 🙂
These are absolutely great sensory books for babies, keeps the little one entertained for a while! My baby loves these especially as it has the crinkle sound keeps her curious.
I also like that there is 6 books such a good value and especially for the quality of the books and the high contrast of images.
They are machine washable which is great as accidents can happen and you can just give it a quick wash:)
Educational side of the books is great as well as it helps the baby to develop start learning letters and alphabet, fruits, animals etc. keeps the baby engaged.
The babies in their early days can not see colors but they can see and relate black and while colors which is why I got these for my baby. The six pieces books are all black in color which helps me keep my baby engaged once in a while.
These are nicely stitched and have no sharp edges so safe for baby to play with. When crushed, the books makes squashy sound. The books also have the shapes that you can feel by touch.
All the books have red look which you can use to hang these to pram. These are small and light in weight so you can also easily carry them. These are waterproof and can be hand washed.
The help develop babies vision, touch, brain so I would surely prefer to have one of these in the babies toys set.
What great light little books these are, my 3 month old loves to practise her holding on these books now shes started to play a little, they make a crinkle sound but its soft so its not too loud. She loves sitting there staring at the pattens, im really please i got them they wash well and dry quick, excellent first baby toy.
The Amazon pictures and video show what you will receive. In fact the video described it better than I can. I guess not everything has to be bright and colourful for youngsters.
The high contrast images really fascinate babies and keep them quite entertained (considering their short attention spans). It’s really good too for learning to focus the eyes. The crinkly noises are easy to make by just bunching a fist which babies do quite instinctively but it helps with learning they can make sounds etc. Long lasting, easy to wash and it feels like a very safe toy.
These soft sensory books are great, especially as they’re made of a soft waterproof plastic material so they wipe clean and are easy to keep neat and tidy.
You get 6 books in this little set too which is plenty to alternate through and they all have a different topic like animals or fruits which adds great variety.
The colour contrast of the black & white is bold and bright and mentally stimulating for babies, particularly newborns and the books also crinkle which provides a sensory input when held.
I particularly like that there’s a hanging loop on each book made of ribbon so that they can be hung onto pushchairs and car seats etc.
I’d really recommend these to any new parent!

Perfect for our newborn whom is current 10weeks old and loving all black and white patterns – at this stage that is mostly all they can see and she seems to be loving them. They’re safe for her to grab, pull and throw too which is always a bonus with the small people! One got spilt milk on it and I hand washed in like warm water with a small amount of detergent, came out fine, dried in airing cupboard, no issues with colour coming out of it.
Verdict:
Recommended for 2.5-3months+ great for new world explorers!
We have not used the crinkle aspect of these yet as he’s just into looking intensely at each picture in turn. We turn to a page and then hold it about 12 inches or more from his face and move it from side to side. He follows the images with his eyes even turning his head. Although it’s. Early we also sometimes repeat the name of the letter or object.
I think 15.99 is a bit pricey considering alternatives but these are good nonetheless and keep baby entertained.

These black and white first learning books cover a wide range of topics. They are easy to use and for the price are worth it. However, after a little while the crinkle sound from the books can be a little bit annoying.
Very nice quality waterproof black and white baby books. The set comes with six categories of black and white shapes and patterns, can be used in the bath tub, which are easy to clean. Great set of books that can be pass on to someone as good as new when finished.
Teytoy set of 6 soft touch books for babies & toddlers are really good value, they crinkle when touched, good early learning, they are extremely well made, have different characters/ items on each one. I would definitely recommend & worth buying
These are so cute and as they’re black and white they’re good for babies senses. They look easy to clean too. He just loves books especially ones that make a noise when they’re touched. Good variety and something you can go back to as they get older and you start to teach them things. Lovely gift, very well made
