Bought as a gift for a friend who was travelling the world for work (lucky so and so).
He loved it and as he can be a bit scatterbrained he said it helped always knowing his pens were kept with his notebook.
Really good quality and after 2 years of constant travel and use it’s still going strong.
Now I just need to find myself a job travelling the world so I can justify buying one for myself.

I recently purchased the IF 40702 Bookaroo Pen Pouch Notebook, and I have to say that it has exceeded my expectations. This handy little accessory is perfect for book lovers who are always on the go. Here’s my review:

    Pros:
    – Convenient: The pen pouch notebook is incredibly convenient, allowing me to carry my pens and notebook wherever I go. It fits easily into my purse or backpack, making it perfect for travel or commuting.
    – Stylish: The design of the pen pouch notebook is simple yet stylish. The black leather exterior and red elastic band give it a classic look that is both elegant and functional.
    – Durable: The material is of high quality and is quite durable, which is a plus for me because I am rough on my belongings.
    – Great Value: The IF 40702 Bookaroo Pen Pouch Notebook is a great value for the price. It’s affordable and well-made, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone who loves to read and write.

    Cons:
    – Limited Capacity: The pouch is not very large, so it can only hold a few pens and a small notebook. This can be a downside for those who need to carry more supplies with them.

Overall, I highly recommend the IF 40702 Bookaroo Pen Pouch Notebook to anyone who loves to read and write on the go. It’s convenient, stylish, and durable, making it a great value for the price. While the limited capacity may be a downside for some, it is still a worthwhile investment for anyone who wants a handy and attractive accessory for their book-loving lifestyle. I give it four stars!

What can I say about this handy product?
Simply put, it fits well around regular-sized books and ensures I always have a pencil to hand so I can take notes and underline. Couldn’t recommend more!

    Some observations:
    – If you want to preserve a book’s dust jacket, I’d recommend taking it off before using this product as the elastic could bite into it.
    – Be wary of large and/or irregularly shaped books. I’ve tried it around my copy of Ulysses (980pgs) and that feels too big for the elastic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Godsend for margin scribblers

Got a few now as I am a woman of many notebooks. I like them. A bit bulky maybe if you want to lay the book flat to write in but the advantages outweigh this for me.

Very useful for keeping the right pens with my Rocketbook. Although the notepad is no bigger than A5, the elastic is quite tight and does cause the cover to curve, whether I put the elastic around just the cover or the whole book. However, this isn’t entirely surprising as the cover of the Rocketbook is somewhere between a soft and hard cover.
Disappointingly the elastic was a little frayed on arrival but not enough for me to be concerned about it breaking.
It’s a nice colour and true to the image.

Find this better than adhesive pen holders as you can use with other books too. If you have a paper/softback book it might have a tendancy to cause the page to buckle slightly as the elastic is quite thick and strong (I experienced this on a moleskine notebook). You can only fit two pens in it, I did try to fit a third but the material is quite stiff and wouldn’t stretch. All in all I’m happy with my purchase and would purchase again.

Bought to go with a notebook that had similar colours in its patterned cover. It keeps it closed and holds one fountain pen. Would hold 2-3 normal bic sized pens.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI really wanted this for my A4 planner as I’m a teacher and always need a pen to hand so loved the fact that this stretches to fit A4 books. Is perfect for holding a couple of pens

The pen holder fits perfectly on my A5 diary. The product looks robust and stylish. A bit expensive but it is a good quality product. No more looking for pens to write in my diary

Love this to pop in a pen and highlighter for meetings at work. Like other customers have said, you can’t write very well on the side it’s attached to as the page is uneven, and you have to remove it, however overall, I think it’s practical, rather than carrying around a pencil case, and cute.

I love this product. I bought it as a gift to my friend and she said she absolutely loves it. She is a big book reader and to have all the stuff she need to highlight and write in quotes attached to her book is so convenient for her. The colour of the pouch is quite vibrant as well. The material is good quality and feels as if it would last a long time. If you need a gift for a book loving friend, this is the one.

I use mine on my iPad. Quality is good. Purchased a couple for presents too and these were well liked. A bit expensive but overall I do recommend and will probably buy again. Maybe more leather colour options would be good.

Bought a few of these as little stocking fillers. They are great. Used on a5 notebooks/diary they can be adjusted to the size of the book. Really smart and handy. No more pens falling off the side of the notebook

Very pleased with this pen holder; it fits perfectly onto my A5-ish Bullet Journal and seems quite robust after weeks use. My bujo pen is always to hand; no more digging in my bag 🙂

A great product worth its price!
Very strong elastic hold it on without damaging the book; it fits even two pens and a fineliner, but you could hang another pen/marker on top of these.
Great piece of storage, very helpful and useful for some forgetful heads! :))) also, it’s time and space saving! 🙂 no need to run around looking for another pen or getting lost somewhere in between your lunch salad and tissue wraps in your handbag! :))) useful and recommended 🙂 plus the stretchy stretch is very stretchy! 😀

5.0 out of 5 stars Small but spacious

Bought a few of these now as gifts for women I know who have little books for their ‘lists’ (nothing sexist there – it seems that guys don’t have lists to organise their lives and prefer to proceed in chaos).

Seems everyone loves them and if you are thoughtful enough to notice the colour of your recipient’s notebook and match the pen pouch, it is extra appreciated.

A nice, thoughtful, useful, little product.

I love this pen holder, I use it with my travelers notebook in regulura size or A5 and it fits perfectly. I’ve seen people complaining in some reviews about their notebooks not closing properly and that’s because it’s not mean to be used on one cover but over the whole notebook to keep it closed.
I have used on my soft cover Rhodia notebook and it works perfectly.
You need to consider that the elastic band with use will stretch as they always do, and if the notebook is bigger than A5 you will get the elastic band to start looking like if it was ripping from the leather.
It won’t last you a life time but mine has been in ise for months and still looks good.

This Pen Pouch works fine if you intend to place it over the whole book. I had planned to use it solely over the book cover but sadly it has adjustable straps at the back which dig into the pages of my book causing it to not shut properly. Otherwise the product is really sturdy and well made.

This was bought as a gift for the wife for her to use at work. It has a lot of use out of it and has been a very good product.
It will fit two pens easily but depending on the thickness I wouldn’t want to try to fit three since this may actually stretch the pouch too much resulting on pens then would then slide out too easily.

The elastic is good quality as well so this should stand up well to repeated stretchings.

The stitching is very neat and the little pen and pencil logo is a very nice classy touch.

Recommended and a much better solution than trying to jam the pen inside the book!

I want to say ‘well done’ to whoever invented this useful item. This is ideal for carrying a one with my diary from now on. I’m always losing pens I to the bottom of my bag, having to rummage for them at the most importuned times. I thought the lovely purple colour was a nice touch too. It might not work on a soft back book, but I have it attached to my new A5 hard back diary. ….. now I am hoping they will do an A4 size one.

I purchased this for my notebooks for university etc.
It’s a lovely vibrant pink that’s carried through to the elastic strap.
It easily fitted over my A5 notebook but don’t think it would fit over anything much larger.
The pocket was a little tight but I managed to put two gel pens inside.
    Nice fabric and design.
Bottom line – not sure if I’d buy this again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well made, great colour. Fits A5 book easily.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersSimilar to the notebook ruler I recently purchased, this item adds another layer of value and professional sheen to my otherwise unruly notepad. There’s lot of practical uses, and it does hold my pens and pencils and the band allows me to jump straight to the next blank page. More importantly though, its like a pimped up ultimate accessory to my notebook that is now considered one of the cool kids in the office!

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI didn’t know a product like this even existed until I saw a colleague with a pen pouch on his notebook. I’ve long been using hard back Moleskine notebooks and my one bug bear with such things is that you can’t tuck a pen inside. I saw this and knew I not only wanted but actually NEEDED this product. I bought two – one for myself and a second for my mother who, much to my amazement given that she’s practically housebound, keeps a daily diary. I had noticed when I saw hers that she was trying to fold a pen inside her hard backed diary. This should help make sure she’s always got a pen without distorting her book.
Fantastic idea and a classic example of something I didn’t know I needed until I saw it, at which point it was blindingly obvious.

Well made and of a great quality for the price, especially compared to others being sold on Amazon. Lovely bright colour. However, it’s too big for my A6 diary (which I have measure and is exactly A6) so keeps falling off. In the end I had to stitch a tuck in the elastic to make it stay put, but it means there is now a bit sticking out. I have a Frixion and Cross fountain pen in it and you couldn’t fit any further pens in that’s for sure, although I guess if you had slimmer pens you could fit 3.
