Problem was resolved the next day and item delivered the following day, Product was just what I wanted and is working brilliantly. For that kind of service I would recommend them very highly
I was looking for a battery for my new Bosch drill and though looked at several different varieties (some not as expensive) I decided to go for the 4.0ah as even though it cost a little more the quality and performance of this battery makes SO much difference when doing any job and is well worth every penny . I would highly recommend that if you require a longer lasting battery with the power for most DIY or even for professional work purposes then you must have the 4.0ah at minimum I do odd jobs for family and friends and I’ve always got projects of my own that needs doing so to have a decent battery like this is a must!!
This battery is a great addition to your Bosch Professional arsenal. I ran the 1.5 and 2.0 ah batteries in my 18v drills and impactors for a long time, purely because they were cheap and done the job. After borrowing a friends battery one day, I noticed my impact had a little more grunt. I made sure that I was going to stop cutting corners and actually buy a ‘grown up’ battery.
Get the most out of your tool investment by purchasing a quality battery, 4.0+ah will give you plenty of umph and longevity, which is important as there is nothing worse than having to stop mid drill to change a battery.
I looked at most of the common trade stores and once again Amazon came up cheaper and quicker to get. The battery is genuine and holds a charge very well so have no issues with it at all.
I havent got a genuine charger so does take a while to charge but that’s fine. A proper Bosch charger would have it topped up in under 45mins.
So if you need a Bosch battery this will do every time.
Just to add, I also dropped mine and no damage at all… so that durability sorted
When the battery that came with my Bosch drill started to fail after considerable use I shopped around and settled on a generic, cheaper copy-cat battery. The first worked well for a short time, but quickly started to loose charge rapidly and overheated, eventually burning a hole in itself. A second lasted less well and never seemed to have the guts to properly power a Bosch handheld circular saw. This battery may be more expensive than those clones, but it is miles ahead in terms of quality. I’ve had it for several months now and use it most weeks, switching between various tools. It holds it’s charge well, doesn’t overheat even with prolonged use and recharges quickly. I’ll never go back to generic batteries now and would advise others not to be swayed that way either.
This adds more power to your elbow when working with your Bosch tools. I use for DIY stuff so there is more than enough power available to me. Whilst heavier than the 2AH battery it does extend tool working life so the tradeoff is worth it.
