A great spirit level to work with … feels great and is extremely well made … it is also extremely accurate when tested alongside other accurate levels … and a magnet system is a bonus … the perfect small allrounder spirit level … love it!
What I liked the clear indication of the level of measurement of the item being measured from its position in three dimensions in regards to being level. I also liked the quality of the spirit level and the way it feels light. I used mine to measure the level of my cooker hood level and my kitchen cabinet level. Overall a good sturdy tool that shows quality of construction. Dislike non at the moment to say.
Amazing value for money. I needed a small level to fit my ‘at-hand’ tool box. Initially I bought some level/angle finder that, when arrived, occurred to be a plastic piece of junk. Then I spotted this Bosh level… it is small, sleek, quite heavy, well built, and special window for plumb check is amazing. I couldn’t recommend it more
Thanks to its excellent design you can see the liquid vials from various positions, including from directly above making levelling easy.
I used it when installing a garden arch to ensure it was vertically level on sloping ground. Helpfully, the spirit level was magnetic thereby sticking to the arch and freeing my hands to make any levelling adjustments.
The construction is solid despite being lightweight. It can easily handle falls on hard surfaces.
Overall, a great tool that should be a compulsory part of the DIY toolkit.
Very sturdy and nicely made. One of the bubbles doesn’t quite match up with The other on the vertical but it’s only very slight. It’s more than accurate enough for me and is within the lines.
Horizontally the unit is spot on.
The people that say these levels are not accurate are not using them correctly. Both the vials on my level are different when I lay it on its side (not the way it is made to be used) but when I use it upright they both show the same reading.
I have previously bought more budget orientated spirit levels, this is clearly light years ahead of these. It feels solid, and gives the impression it could survive rough treatment and drops. I will definitely be buying other sizes within the range as and when they discount them.
There are cheaper ones available but this looks well built on the images and it is exactly as I expected when I received it.
It has both the measuring levels on the long and short edge which I found very useful.
There are robust protective plastic edges which will protect it from the hits and dents. It is also magnetic which is great.
I have used this on a few applications and found it to be very accurate.
Pay the extra – it is worth it and will last the test of time.
I do not usually care about appearance and colour of tools, my concern is only if they function. But I have to say this is quite a smart, and sharp design for a spirit level it looks great!
Big clear easy to read bubbles.
Very nice piece of kit, not the cheapest but I think worth the extra. If you like good tools this is one to have in your armoury
I knocked one star off this for the plastic packaging I can’t believe that the people at Bosh can’t work out a way of packaging their products in card, even if the plastic says it is recyclable card would be far better.
The level itself is quite weighty for its size with three strong magnets along one edge.
Something to note is that this does not have a 45 deg or adjustable angle bubble, what is does have is two mirrors that allow you to see one bubble from two different directions I found this really useful when working on walls as you don’t have to keep pushing your head up against the wall. One thing I’m not sure of is that the edges are not smooth but are slightly ribbed, it looks like they used a fast feed in the milling machine when it was manufactured. This must have been intentional it makes cleaning off paint, plaster and general dirt harder to do.
The bubbles are protected behind some thick plastic and two rubber ends mean this level should last for a long while, definitely worth a look.
