So easy to have this del;ivered … and it arrived on time and the item is exactly as described. Thank you.
(incidentally, according to the tracking details it came all the way from Belgium!).

I got some free drill bits with my drill, but the masonry ones were only really fit for plaster! I needed a bigger size to wall-mount a TV, so grabbed a couple of these, expecting them to have the same ‘qualities’ as my free ones, and to wear out quickly. No, sir! Even though my chimney-breast bricks appear to have been made by Vulcan himself out of iron-hard granite, just one of these bits did all seven holes to a depth of 60mm without any apparent loss of sharpness. Brilliant! So… I have a spare one if anyone needs it, haha.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI am coming down with dementia and keep on forgetting where I leave my drill bits.
Being a surgeon I find these are ideal when putting in a new knee, it drills a clean 7mm hole through the bone so the cable tie has some thing to grip on to.
Being a Vet on the side, a customer brought in a chicken with a broken leg, for me to have a look at. I was able to use the 7mm drill bit as a splint.
    These drill bits are great.

Make drilling into the external wall so much easier and with much less effort and most impressively was the hole drilled is the correct size and not 10x bigger at the start.

What had been a difficult job hanging kitchen units on a very hard surface became a breeze using these bits. They really made a massive difference and turned a nightmare job into a pleasure. Seriously.

A few quid for a nice drill bit that works well. The Bosch CYL-3 Concrete Masonry Drill offers a long lasting performance when drilling concrete. From the highly durable carbide blend developed by Bosch themselves.

I went to work right away. I have to say, it struggled with the concrete when i used a hammer drill. But when I switched to a proper SDS drill this was the difference. Straight into the concrete. I drilled 16 holes in a concrete bed and it’s still sharp. So it’s going well. Pretty pleased with the outcome.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI used to use cheapish masonry drill bits. On our very hard bricks, my mains powered drill really struggled to drill. These Bosch Pro drill bits were a revelation, even my cordless drill, can drill holes in the walls with ease.
Really did not expect better drill bits to make such a huge difference.

Have some other masonry drill bits but they struggled against hard brick and concrete. Last night, tried with my older bits going through plasterboard and then into brick and they were not going through the brick, switched to new bit, used the 5.5 from the pack, and it went through really nice and quick.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersFirst thing to get out the way is that I use standard bits for indoors and normal brick only, preferring to use SDS for heavy duty jobs – larger holes or harder materials. Although these are listed as concrete I really buy them for longevity rather than actually using them on concrete. Again, I would use an SDS drill and bits for concrete and harder materials like engineering brick. Used on softer materials ( standard block and brick ) these will last a very long time, making them excellent value. I bought this set to replace the last set I bought about ten years ago!! So yes they do last a long time as long as you take reasonable care with them.
A very important feature of this set is that it has a 7mm bit. Most sets do not. I don’t know about you, but I use 7mm wall plugs for No.10 screws. You can buy 8mm wall plugs instead but it seems a lot easier to just buy a set of bits with a 7mm bit!! It’s unfortunate that this set doesn’t include a 5.5mm. Oddly that size is sometimes useful for 5mm wall plugs. Don’t ask me why but that slight over-size is helpful with some materials, especially plaster. Anyway! It’s an excellent set. Buy one.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI’ve bought a few of these to make around 70 holes in concrete ceiling, the first one managed to drill up to 30 holes in the concrete before the tip detached from the bit.

The second one started to wear out at about 20 holes and loose efficiency.

Then I tried a different famous brand more expensive which couldn’t hold up 3 holes.

Came back to bosch and finished the job, third one still looks like new.

    See pictures for reference.

5.0 out of 5 stars It did last more than I expected.

After messing around with cheap drill bits trying in vain to put holes in my brick walls, spending a bit extra was well worth it. Like a knife through butter.

These really sharp drill bits cut through brick and concrete with ease. They come in a useful, slide-opening plastic case.

These the best drills I’ve ever had.. I’ve used cheap masonry drills in the past and they haven’t lasted long before becoming blunt and useless. These drills are not cheap to buy but drill into hard engineering brick and concrete accurately, easily and repeatedly even after lots of use.
