I got this, liking the idea of just turning a knob to get a different length instead of searching through a little bag trying to find it and always pulling out the one too long or too short and going back in for another feel, then pouring them all out and regretting that choice as now my little old beard hairs are all over the counter now uhhh, ( you know what I mean )
I haven’t changed the head on this in ages, I take it off quickly to get some edges ( as it just slides off and on, so locking button to press ) Then I put it straight back on as I got all the length options just 1-second twist away from me, beautiful!! Also halfs the time it takes to shave, which I know isn’t much, but still the ease of it is really nice, the battery lasts a fair while about 15 shaves I would say thinking back as I write this, charges fast enough when you like I did, have a wedding to get to and last minute shave but it was nearly dead, so plugged it in laid out my stuff and get everything else ready, came back had a quick trim and got going.
I just like it, you could get a more expensive brand of the same kinda idea, but I don’t know why, no one sees your shaver and it works perfectly as is, no need for something fancier, unless you’re that kinda guy, me I just wanna get a trim and be done, this is the easiest I’ve ever done i
Battery life is enough for a full hair and beard cut, although takes hours to charge. Quite easy to use just be careful to the size wheel which can move if you hold it wrongly. All together a 5 as the delivery was quick as usual.
It does a good enough job for a quick trim up during lockdown, I don’t find the Gillette razor included any good used it once and it’s past using again. You can’t get an overt close shave with either but for a trim it’ll do!
This is a great trimmer, massively let down by a battery that takes hours to charge.
The trimmer is great, light, easy to use, works well. The battery lasts a long time too. But it takes roughly 8 hours for a full charge. That’s too long. No quick charge. Such a shame as it’s a good trimmer.
This trimming is very good. The battery’s life can be use for more than one hour. The size selection is much better than a lot of connectors. Simple, pretty, useful and for long use. I strongly recommend it.
I also bought this Braun for shaving the beard and it is very good, but I am more than happy that I tried to get a haircut and it works very well, in addition the battery is very strong, you keep a haircut and shave and you are not afraid that you will not be able to finish the haircut, he will advise you with confidence that it is very good not only for shaving but also for the haircut !!!
Having never grown a beard or moustache in all my 70 plus years I used the lockdown period to go into unchartered territory. Hey presto, after six weeks a new man emerged; a cool dude with the trendiest of facial hair! I then realized I needed a trimmer to keep it like that and the Braun was my choice and I haven’t regretted it so far. It took a little time to get used to but then I’d waited a lifetime just to grow my beard. Go ahead, treat yourself.
I like the product, it is functional and it has a long lasting battery. The additional parts coming with trimmer also assists to your shaving process. The product has some minor drawbacks in my view. The head of the trimmer is not perfectly stable and the trimmer can not trim the beard in one go, you need to trim the same spot several times. However, generally, I am happy with product based on price and efficiency.
This is a great trimmer.
After a full charge of 8 hours, I’ve used it for over 60 minutes and going strong.
It’s simple to use and the adjustable hair length clipper is great
There is only 2 attachments but with the adjustment wheel you can do any length between 0-8 (I think)
As you can adjust it so precisely it’s easy to cut your hair on your own (as I do) with a decent mirror.
All in all great value and if definitely recommend.
Only had 2 months but happy with it.
Easy to use, you do need a adapter but I realised that before ordering so I ordered one with it.
This help me cut my own hair at hike during lockdown, it did a great job when I followed a tutorial for this specific trimmer. Great buy
Handy compact hair cutter, very easy to clean and also water proof which is a big plus if you cut your own hair in a bathtub..only down sometimes the battery seems to drain faster than than it suppose to..would still recommend.
advertised primarily as beard trimmers they can also do hair. with length adjustment from 0.5mm to 20mm these clippers cater for pretty much any style and with a very good battery life you’re not going to be left running out of electric halfway through a cut.
the charger is a proprietary braun fitting, no usb here, and plugs into a uk 2 pin shaver socket (see pic). also included is a gillette fusion 5 prodrive razer, a small cleaning brush and two guides, one for 0.5mm to 10mm lengths and one for 11mm to 20mm.
easily cleaned by washing under a tap the clippers are a good weight in the hand and feel well put together. highly recommended.
*** updated 04/01/23 *** battery has failed. no longer holds a charge. struggles now even when plugged into the mains. less than two years old. returns process started online only for an ‘unexpected error’ to occur and the returns process wouldn’t complete. decided this was all too much hassle, braun is off to a nearby recycyling centre and i have bought a wahl.
Brilliant device though for my head-hair and facial hair. Not so good for downstairs though – never made my twig bleed before until I tried this down there.
Using it to cut my hair while hairdressers are still closed. It is quite easy to use and manage not to end up with a Joe Exotic’s haircut :). Actually quite pleased with the results. I don’t think it’s a hair clipper to use as a hairdresser but it does the job for touching up or maintaining a certain length.
