This is one of those products that you never knew you needed in your life. No more rush before the matchstick burns your finger. The neck is quite flexible to reach even if a scented candle is at the bottom. Charge stays for 3-4 months depending on your usage
Bought this for my daughter who loves her candles.
She finds it easy to use and so handy. No flames so no burnt fingers, a really good battery life too. The perfect gift at a great price.
I love the colour of this lighter! Even better in real life. Didn’t take long to charge up & I used it for my lavender tea light candle. It’s a flameless lighter – nifty gadget to have!
Love this – I’m always lighting candles and was going through loads of matches – this is a godsend as it can be recharged as well – so easy to use as well
I’m so happy with it that I’ve decided to buy some more to put in with Christmas presents.
The item looks good and feels good quality. Other reviewers mentioned the noise it makes, I can’t hear it but my daughter says it’s a strange crackling sound. It certainly makes my dog a little uncomfortable anyway.
Not much to say about this device as it’s a lighter!
However, I would add that for convenience, safety and ease of use, I must say this is not only greener than my old lighters, its lighter (no pun intended), slicker and more portable.
Great for using to light candles but more difficult for things like incense. The size is great to reach down into low burnt candles too. Only let down is the poor battery life!
UPDATE… After 13 month of using just 3 times a week apart from the summer months the arc lighter no longer charges even after being plugged in for hours.
Wish I had found this sooner ! We have loads of candles throughout the house of various shapes and sizes and were constantly using normal matches, long matches, cigarette lighters, tapers, refillable gas igniters…… This rechargeable electric igniter has made life so much easier…..no more burnt fingers or fiddling about to try and refill the little tank from a can of lighter fluid and then feeling nauseous from the fumes as you try and get a decent flame to light a candle without melting the tip !! This little unit with its flexible neck is perfect. Being rechargeable by USB is an added bonus and it does not take long to juice up ready for use when it does run out of charge. Wouldn’t be without one of these now and will probably get another and more for gifts.
