Plugged into old block and the Bluetooth connected straight away as car bt.. only took a minute. Only downside is if I turn it off on Bluetooth it comes back on radio. .but only cost 17 quid. Better than my old Bluetooth receiver that kept losing signal.

I was skeptical at first as it’s a cheap stereo only 25 and I installed it very quickly and easily, works the treat and I love how I can change everything on my music to my liking, only problem is when someone calls me I’m very muffled but to be honest I don’t mind that, the stereo is brilliant and I’m glad I have i

Good little car radio, easy to install and use. Lots of options for equaliser and sound. Display could be a bit brigther.
Price of course relects quality so don’t expect to have a professional sound, although sound is good enough to have a good blast 🙂
Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

I fitted this stereo into a Nissan primastar van. It fitted straight into the dash & the 2 connector blocks were an exact match. Fitting took less than 15 minutes & my van has sound again . What a great stereo at a great price. I connected my phone using Bluetooth and I can make calls , receive calls through the stereo. I did have to buy a new eriel because the one in the van was broken. I would definitely recommend this stereo at this amazing price

5.0 out of 5 stars Value for money.

This radio was bought to go in our caravan, the sound is good, it looks good, it has a remote control, which I use when I am relaxing so I don’t need to get up.
The only thing I can find fault with is that the front does not come off.

I love having music on whilst I drive and I’m not a radio fan, so I like to Bluetooth or use a USB.
The only issue I have is when I’m trying to charge my phone and listen to Bluetooth, it keeps switching to the USB and starting the same song over and over.

I was looking for a basic hands free unit for the car and I was NOT prepared to pay for really high specs (like an Alpine or Pioneer) which would have probably cost more than the car is worth. — This unit fitted the bill.

While the radio did come with an ready wired ISO plug to wires, I wanted an easy installation, and opted to use an adapter cable to convert from a Ford radio plug to ISO plug, the antenna adapter was supplied in the kit with the radio.

Using the radio I found hands free telephone great, and I was able to stream Spotify music from iPhone, FM radio is fine. The speakers used by the previous Ford radio worked fine with this unit.

The only one minor issue I found was with with the steering wheel remote, as it needed to be mounted on the RH side of the wheel. In a right hand drive car the additional distance to the centre consul caused some intermittent operating. That said I am more than happy using the buttons on the radio itself, rather than remote.

    Conclusion:
Nice unit does what the ad says don’t expect top notch spec, but for the money it gets 5 star from me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Radio for the money

Great little stereo and a bargain price, as others have said it does look a little plasticity and cheap in the daylight but that’s cos it is
The blue LED is quite bright but it in my opinion it doesn’t distract you at night as some others have said on here and I actually like it.
I fitted mine into a VW Golf Mk 4 and it fitted perfectly into the existing cage, on my car it was a simple plug and play as the existing cables fit the slots without the need for an adapter and the ariel adapter provided allowed me to connect the radio.
Everything works as it should and the sound quality is really good and surprisingly loud but obviously this will depend somewhat on your own speakers.

Overall very impressed as really didn’t expect much for the price but does everything I need it to and no additional parts were required, so for me it was a bargain.
Removal tools, Ariel connector, remote control and spare wires included which considering its price was pretty impressive as many well known branded expensive ones don’t include these.
Glad I took a chance on this and for the sake of a few pounds definitely worth a try as can always return it if you don’t like it once fitted.

Note: Remove all the plastic covering before fitting as it doesn’t tell you that in the manual and is required in order to fit.

Brilliant and easy to use, only issue that i have that prevents me from a 5 star, the controller that goes on the steering wheel does not connect to the radio if installed as recommended, works perfect if you are happy to operate it upside down on the steering wheel and as close as possible to the radio.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMy work van came with a rather expensive car stereo that was loud and clear by it kept losing my phone via Bluetooth! After 6 months I finally snapped and dragged the thing out. I replaced it with this absolute bargain of which I was only expecting the basics BUT WOW! The sound is superb! I work with audio and dang this is clear! It’s a good loudness too and I haven’t had one problem with the Bluetooth one but.
It’s ever so easy to install as the wiring matched my old Vauxhall Combo van.
I highly recommend this for the very low price. Yes it’s a slightly cheap build but it seems solid enough! 11/10.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely superb!!

This is a great way of installing Bluetooth in to your car for very little money. The remote control is a waste of time though as it keeps slipping around the steering wheel. I cable tied it which helped but put deep marks in to the steering wheel. It was then that I noticed that the remote had to be on the radio side of the steering wheel for it to work properly, but you then have to have it upside down. Unless you have a left hand drive. Oh and I haven’t got a permanent live, so I have to tune the radio in every time I start the car. Still worth the money though to be fai

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersBought to replace a vintage radio in my 1969 MG Midget. I wanted something a bit more modern with digital FM tracking as fiddling with the knob to retune the old analogue radio every few miles was getting very tedious. I saw this radio which has Bluetooth, handsfree and had decent reviews so for 20 quid I took a punt.

Fitting was easy, although the connector blocks supplied are cheap and nasty and the switched and permanent live wires are disconcertingly thin. Hopefully they’re safe but I was surprised. All it needs is the two lives, a cable to earth (somewhere on the bodywork) and an aerial. Oh and up to 4 speakers.

I’ve only listened to it in my garage and it picked up radio 1 and 4 loud and clear. No other stations but I put that down to my old aerial and it being inside the garage.

The radio is very lightweight and feels quite flimsy. The absence of any logo on the front makes it look cheap and nasty but oddly makes it more befitting in a classic car where a big Alpine or Kenwood logo would look very out of place. The bright blue lights in it are annoying and not exactly inkeeping with a 60s interior but in daylight you don’t notice them much, and in the dark well, I tend not to drive but I’m sure if I do they will be a bit annoying and distracting in comparison with the dull lighting of the rest of the old dash.

The radio is not very deep which surprised me initially but this was really beneficial in trying to fit it in such a tiny old car with a very shallow dash. I put it’s small size down to the lack of a CD player which is perfect as I never listen to them anyway. I can use my phone via the Bluetooth which by the way connected first time and worked fine. The handsfree also worked fine when I used it to call my house phone, although it did just go to answerphone so I have not tested out the mic on an actual phonecall yet. My suspicion will be that it’s not very good but that’s as much to do with the very noisy old car, than it is the radios fault.

Overall for 20 you can’t go wrong. As for longevity and quality, I can’t knock it because I’ve only had it a day, it installed easily, and everything works so far. I wouldn’t be surprised if one day it just fails to turn on, or the Bluetooth stops working after 12 months or something, but at 20 you can probably just buy another!

Considering the next cheapest radio I could find in Halfords was 69, I could by 3 of these cheapo radios online, save myself the petrol of driving to Halfords, and I’d still be 9 better off which I could spend on lottery tickets/ buying fiance flowers/ beer.

Bluetooth con Ecton on this radio works better than all of my previous Sony or factory radios I’ve used before. It just works. As soon as you turn the key your phone is aying music.

For a basic radio it’s a great buy imo.

The only real issues I have is:
    1) the radio buttons are quite hard to push, so much so the radio actually pushes in a little too far sometimes
    2) the remote slides around on the mounting to the wheel. So I don’t even have it installed anymore

First of all this took 30 seconds to fit, standing plugs in my work 2017 combo, and all the correct power/switch live.
Bluetooth connection was flawless with my pixel 3xl, sadly wouldn’t connect to my tablet at the same time but fortunately I have a Bluetooth fm transmitter so that solved that.
Audio is great, despite my rubbish speakers, phone function is excellent and it is all doing what I need.
Build quality is a bit flimsy, it’s a bit slack in my dashboard but might be better in others, but having no CD slot does kind of reduce the weight and size which makes it feel flimsy.
The only real disappointment is the remote, which has the ir sensor in the wrong place really, so I’ve stuck mine on the wiper stork and use it upside down.
For 20 quid, insane value for money, just does the job

I don’t normally write reviews but this deserves one. For the money you can’t complain has been working with no issues for a couple of weeks now. It does feel a little cheap regards feel and looks but the sound is really good, I had to turn the bass down quite a bit but I don’t consider that a bad thing. The stereo connects to my phone pretty much instantly when I turn on the ignition and the USB charging port on the front is fast better than charging through my cigarette lighter. One downside is the hands free mic it picks up alot of outside noise so can make it hard for people to here you on the motorway etc. I think if your just looking for a cheap Bluetooth stereo then you can’t really go wrong.

At the price this can’t be neat – this is installed in our kitchen with speakers wired into the ceiling – sound very good.

It decided to pack up after 17 months and on reading the earlier review I noted the “take the fuse and put it back” scenario – hey presto it’s working again. For twenty odd quid you can’t really go wrong.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirstly, installation was a doddle as the radio uses the industry standard din connectors, the metal frame that fits into dash and radio slides into is a bit flimsy, but the cost more than makes up for that. Add USB charging, Bluetooth connectivity that is seamless, I had the phone streaming, turned the car off, nipped into shop, started car back up music came on, realised I hadn’t paused it. It is more than loud enough, fm radio is clear. I cannot fault this product for the cost, it does everything you need and I replaced a Sony head unit that developed a fault (21 years old).
Also you get a 2 year manufacturer warranty so download your invoice from Amazon.
    Best 20 I’ve ever spent!!!

So I ordered this for my Peugeot 206 convertible and my husband installed it as he is a electronic engineer so good with these things it took a few hours to do because of my speakers but it works perfectly fine atm but I haven’t been out in the car to use it yet but did connect my phone and it worked fine for the price you can’t complain so amazing

I was in need of a cheap radio for my old vw. Car speakers arent great so sound quality wasn’t much of a priority but i am inpressed with this so far. Bluetooth connection seems reliable. and sound quality doesnt seem bad at all. Digital screen seems a bit crude and the buttons a bit clunky but does the job and i fully expected this for the price. My only wholely negative remark would be the radio cage is very bad quality and doesnt lock the radio securely and it keeps dissapearing off into the dash but i have found an old pioneer cage which does the job perfectly so no drama.

Sounds alot better than my original car stereo! Like the fact it has Bluetooth, m card slot, 2 usb ports. It does feel/look cheap but for 20 what do you expect, I’m well happy with it as don’t want something expensive and pay for a replacement stereo as well as a window!! But overall product is good. Instructions on use are poor, being tech minded haven’t found out how to store radio channels yet, Bluetooth hands free is super on phone calls, which is what made me buy this product, callers can here me over road/engine noise as installed it in a farm 4×4 off roader.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersAbout 2000 of them, which is not much at all!

Bought my mini cooper in summer 2019, car stereo inside never worked and i never got round to getting a new one, but the car went through her MOT yesterday so i thought i would treat her to a new stereo, so i ripped the old sony out and ordered this one.

    Arrived super fast, cheers =)

Such a doddle to install, i removed the sony, and the sony adaptor and plugged the rest right into the back of this unit. Bingo, i turned the key and it came on right away, piece of cake, even for a blonde!

So how does it sound? Alright if i am honest, you need to find the right EQ setting to suit your taste, and if you want a bit more oomph, then press and hold the EQ for the LOUDNESS setting to be applied, this really makes the bass kick, and makes the music sound incredibly nice, quite impressed with it actually.

But it does look cheap doesn’t it? Yes, thats probably because… erm, it is cheap! For a little over 20 quid, your not going to get something solidly built, this thing feels so loose, the buttons feel springy and loose, it does feel like it will break in a few months time, granted, but we will see, i cannot see why it should not last me long enough to get that mini cooper coupe i am saving up for this year, so for now this stereo will do.

Any negatives, yes, the cage itself which the head unit slips into for security, is not really offering much in the way of security, and my TF card will not stay in the TF card slot on the unit, i have more then one brand of TF card, and none will stay in place. So there are faults, but to me they are very minor but worth knocking one star off, otherwise its alright.

So, in summary, easy to install, nice clear sound when the correct settings are used, but it does feel like a piece of cr@p and to be honest, it wont win any prizes for its looks either, but who cares, it is cheap and i can bluetooth my music from my phone now, so that a win for me!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis product gives the impression that it comes with removal tools – it doesn’t. (The tool I bought didn’t help so I ended up using two steak knives to pry the old unit out of the slot. The rest of the installation was a breeze though.)

The worst thing about this stereo are the horrible, ultra-plastic controls and the overall fragile feel of the lightweight unit. The volume control came off in my hands the second time of using it. They are also not the most responsive so a firm touch is required. Also the tuner itself has no presets and it struggles to pick up any kind of decent reception.

On the plus side bluetooth connectivity is very good and it reads well from the auxiliary and USB inputs. Charger also works very well.

Sound is very good for the price, can’t complain. Overall, excellent value for money.
