The single sheet came folded in a plastic-type bag, with the detail thereon (images below refer).
This is intended to filter the air going into the furnace. I currently have one of those blue, foamy cut-to-fit washable filters on my air return. It is amazing how much dust (and dog hair) it keeps from entering the system. I have a Trane and they recommend between 8 and 13 MERV, so this will be perfect.
