We got this for a gift for a 9 year old boy. As soon as he opened the gift, he wanted to play it. The whole family were playing the game and enjoying it. This is a huge hit for any child who loved Harry Potter. The game is similar to frustration, the aim is to move around the board. I would say this is suitable for children 7-11 unless playing as part of a family then any age is good.
Took a while to get going and understand the instructions but okay when we got going. As adults, we found the riddles, and some of the other parts, a little too easy so more aimed at children.
Bought as a Christmas gift for my daughter aged 8 and we play it everyday. Trouble is we soon get to know the riddles! Rules could be clearer, but we are fine.
One of my grandsons received a very good end-of-the-year report from his School and I gave him this race as an end-of-the-schoolyear present. I chose well, I think, because he has told me that he likes my present very much.
Really we worked questions, and a must for all Potterheads!
