The true test for garden tools like this is how are they after a few years. But, so far, so good. They are well made, and though lightly used, no problems.
Really nice traditional feel- lovely wooden handles. A joy to use. I also have the dandelion weeder (4059NB) in the same series – the best tool I have found so far for the spot removal of marestail.
I love Spear and Jackson tools. They last and last! I have bought this product for several friends as well as for myself and everyone is delighted with the quality.
These feel like quality products. Nice and heavy, not like the cheaper made Chinese ones. Got fed up of the cheap ones bending so decided to pay for a bit of quality. Would recommend.
Good sturdy and rust-proof gardening tools. I bought a set years ago and they are still as good as new, so I bought another set as a gift for my cousin who is a keen gardener. The price varies a lot, and second time they were a lot more expensive, alas, but they should last a lifetime if used and stored properly.
This transplanting set looks sturdy and lovely colours. Bought it as a present for my daughter and I know she is going to thrilled as her old set has seen better days.
My wife is a keen gardener and has been using this set fairly regularly for nearly 6 months now.
She has found them to be very well made, sharp and to easy hold.
They look as tho they will last many years and my wife is happy to recommend them!
Great tools, and colourful handles means it’s harder to loose. Gave this as a gift to a friend who was always losing her previous gift. Was a greatly appreciated gift.
Bought this set for my daughter for Christmas as she loves bright colours. I hasten to add that she loved it. She has small hands and these were perfect for her. Made by Spear and Jackson….so you know you’re getting good quality.
Bought these as a gift for my stepmum who had really got in to gardening during the pandemic lockdown.
She is thrilled with them, and she especially likes their bright colours as she can spot them easier if she leaves them in a flower bed.
Love these, the green trowel is super for digging small areas. They are strong and sturdy. Nice and bright so I can find them easily as have a habit of moving from different areas In the garden.
Only time will tell re sturdiness, but initial signs are good and the colours liked a lot by the recipient in the hope they’ll be visible amongst everything and not “disappear” under the bushes!
It took me awhile to find a good garden tools, didn’t stop until I find a great one. No bad reviews so I thought yes let’s order this one and hope for the best and I was amazed. These are amazing tools. Strong and good grip. It was worth the money
Only used this product for a short time this year due to weather conditions. I bought the bright colours so I could find them easily. I tend to put tools down when dealing with something else and then spend time searching for them. These are definitely hard to lose. So far they appear sturdy and well made but they will get lots of wear as the year progresses, so we shall see.
Sturdy and well made, as you would expect from Spear & Jackson. Lovely and colourful and made a perfect gift for my garden loving best friend, she really loved it. Nicely presented in a cardboard box with clear plastic lid, which made it easy to wrap! The handles are very comfortable to use and all three items are a nice weight, not too heavy, not too light, just right. Each tool has a thin but strong strap, which makes them easy to hang and store. Yes, you guessed it, I was drafted to help out in my friends garden, serves me right for buying gardening tools as a present! I would highly recommend.
