Instructions could be clearer but once sorted it’s a great product. Cut is clean but different from the normal can opener in that it takes off the top from a side cut rather than “sawing” the top. Difficult to operate with some cans.

Tried and tried other can openers but frustrated as they would start okay and then within a short while would start and stop. This opener is excellent and though its a little more expensive is worth every penny.

Two of the older, original design which was very slightly different were previously owned, the oldest originally purchased by parents and later passed on while one was later purchased for personal use. After at least 20 years’ of use each, they were only recently discarded when one from another brand, and supposedly highly-rated, was purchased as their successor. It proved less capable than claimed and quite dangerous with some cans where it created unexpected sharp edges on the sealed edges while not cleanly opening the can. The moral is clearly to stay with what is known to work.

The “Culinare MagiCan Auto 2 Can Opener, white, 20 x 5 x 15 cm” is easy and safe to use, completely reliable and likely to last another 20 years or longer. It is also fairly priced.

Probably one of the best manually-operated can openers currently available.

I recently broke my left wrist and so I bought this can opener because it stated that it could be used with one hand! After a few failed attempts I discovered that if you turn your tin up side down the opener will easily open both large and small cans. I think it must be that the lip of the underside of a tin is the same for both. Hope this helps!

Does its job but make sure u dont wet it too much when cleaning as it will rusts easily. Damp cloth only oops. I actually thought this was a battery operated on going by the price but it is still better than the old fashion one

Had one of these before and wore it out after a few years. Bought a cheap replacement but it was hopeless and if your left handed even worse.
These can openers are simple and compact, very easy to use, left or right handed.

I need to open at least one can per day but found it sometimes difficult with the cans of American Special Diet Dog Food which the vets have prescribed for my diabetic dog. This opener was first recommended to me by a friend. Provided you do not have any difficulty with your hands this will prove a most welcome addition to your kitchen tools particularly as there are no batteries required and the opening of cans will not leave sharp edges. The lid is retained by a small magnet until wanted. The can remains firmly held by the opener until released.
