Arrives in typical flat-pack format, all washers nuts and and bolts supplied. QC could be a tad better, the two side frames appear to have been made from slightly different templates, with the drilled holes in ever so slightly different places. Likewise, the seat base had no visible holes for the nuts, so finding those under the material, and cutting a hole for the screws to pass through was a bit of guesswork. This all made assembling it a little interesting, but not difficult. Assembled, it works just fine. I have a hunch the ball races on the wheels will give out fairly quickly, however; they’re not nearly as captive as I’d prefer. None the less, for thirty six quid, it’s a good “occasional use” stool.
Versatile, solid, easy to put together simply great buy for the money. As a disabled person I’m using it in the kitchen on the daily bases to move around while I’m cooking. Solid wheels allow me to move around stain free. Really good purchase
My son is a mechanic and sometimes gets back ache during some jobs around the car. Purchased this for him and he is delighted with it. Was easy to build and the only thing i would say is to add some sponge or soft protection to the corners. You wouldn’t want to scratch the cars you are working on. It would be good if this was included in the box with the product. Well made and should last a while. Nice tray underneath for tools or nuts and bolts.
A very useful stool creeper, I had been thinking of getting for a while and bought this one. It’s decent quality, perhaps a little workman like (but it is for the garage !) probably the same as several that are more expensive. It’s proven a great addition and saves extra back pain, or knee pain when working lower down. The tray underneath the seat is very useful for keeping tools together when working on something.
Works well, does the job it’s intended to. No problem at al with the seller, good packaging, arrived in good time. One thing that the manufacturer might like to address is the fact that four machine screws are supplied to secure to padded seat to the frame. There are no pre-drilled holes in the seat chipboard base so it’s impossible to ‘start’ the screws – not a big deal – I just used some wood screws instead, but it shouldn’t take too much effort for them to replace the machine screws with wood screws . . . . . .
