I have been mixing this oil with my regular moisturiser and it makes my skin super soft. The packaging and bottle are really nicely designed. Even the scent is nice. Lovely product.
I use this oil on my face absolutely love it it keeps my skin nice and moisturised without being too oily. I highly recommend this because you get value for money the size is great as well.
I ordered this to use as a part of a body oil I make; I’ve read about the amazing benefits of rosehip oil, and since it is used in a lot of beauty products I thought it would make a great oil to add. I was sooo right! This rosehip oil is a nice thick oil, and blends perfectly with the carrier oil I use in my body oil. Even on its own it makes my skin feel great!
This oil has a subtle fragrance of old/dried roses — not pleasant, but not horrendous either. On its own, I’m not a fan of the smell. But I add a gorgeous smelling essential oil to the mix, so the natural fragrance of this doesn’t phase me at all. The smell, when used alone, does fade quickly though. So it definitely wouldn’t be a deal breaker for buying this.
I am very happy with this oil, it is definitely an essential ingredient in my body oil.
I don’t like the smell of it but really good for massage. Also makes my skin bright and smooth it works on hair ase well. But good quality product I like i
This is a very light oil that gets absorbed quickly.
As a hand moisturiser it’s excellent. It works on nails too but takes a few days to show an effect – but mine are definitely less brittle after a week.
It has no detectable smell. The recyclable glass bottle is large and the dropper cap allows me to use very little each time – so value for money is good. The other components of the packaging are recyclable too, with details clearly stated on the cardboard box it comes in.
This is nice oil, better than expected.
It arrived well presented in an attractive card box.
The bottle itself is a generous size, feels well made and has a pipette.
The oil has minimal fragrance, can be used on skin, hands, face, hair etc, and as far as I can tell is decent quality (for example it looks a ‘clean’ oil, yellowish without being cloudy, no bits in it).
It’s too early to say whether it’s having much effect on my skin, but there’s no irritation and I plan to keep using it.
I only need a small amount so the bottle should last ages.
Thanks for reading, I hope you find this review helpful.
Rosehip oil is harvested from the seeds of rose bushes predominately grown in Chile and is full of vitamins, antioxidants and fatty acids that are known to correct dark spots and hydrate dry, itchy skin, all while reducing scars and fine lines.
By using an organic cold-press extraction process, the oil is separated from the hips and seeds.
For facial skin care, rosehip oil offers several benefits when applied externally. It protects the skin and increases cell turnover because it contains beta-carotene (a form of vitamin A) and vitamins C and E, all antioxidants that help fight free radicals.
Rosehip oil’s healing properties are due to its chemical structure. As noted, it is rich in healthy fats, especially oleic, palmitic, linoleic and gamma-linolenic acid.
Rosehip oil contains polyunsaturated fatty acids (vitamin F), which convert to prostaglandins (PGE) when absorbed through the skin. PGEs are excellent for skin care because they are involved in cellular membrane and tissue regeneration.
It is also one of the richest plant sources of vitamin C, another reason why rosehip oil is an excellent product for fine lines and overall skin care.
Rosehip oil has significant anti-ageing benefits for your face. Super light and non-greasy, this oil’s skincare benefits come from its high antioxidants and ability to penetrate deeper layers of the skin, where it can improve moisture levels and reduce visible signs of ageing.
Collagen production naturally slows down as we age, but thanks to the high levels of vitamin C in rose hips, this oil can help stimulate collagen production in the skin. A clinical study published in 2015 reveals that 60 days of topical vitamin C treatment was “highly efficient as a rejuvenation therapy, inducing significant collagen synthesis in all age groups with minimal side effects.”
The sun’s UV rays can damage the skin, resulting in age spots and facial hyperpigmentation. The antioxidants found in rosehip oil, especially the combination of vitamins C and E, can help combat free radicals that cause sun damage.
This oil is also deeply moisturising and aids in removing redness and irritation. These properties also make rosehip oil a possible treatment for rosacea when used as a cold-pressed oil, cream or rosehip-based skin care product.
The cold-pressed fats found in rosehip oil can help get rid of scars and reduce the appearance of stretch marks by promoting skin regeneration. When applied topically, the fats act as emollients, helping soften the skin and increasing hydration.
Rosehip oil is at the top of my favourite natural anti-ageing products. I have been using it on my face and chest for several months and love its fragrance. My skin does not tolerate heavy-base oils, and rosehip oil is ideal for my skin. It is a light-based oil that makes my skin smooth and soft while increasing suppleness and glow. The Derora rosehip oil is more unctuous than my old one; hence, I apply two drops instead of three-four. I always apply it as my last step in the evening skincare routine. I have also ordered the Derora carrot seed oil and have been using them both daily; I massage my face with a jade roller after applying the oil to ensure the best results.
I am delighted with the results of both oils because they work synergistically as potent anti-ageing compounds!
This cold pressed rosehip oil is perfect to mix with my moisturiser in the morning to give a glow to my skin. I wait a few minutes before applying my make up as it sort of partly dries down. It doesn’t impact my makeup and leaves my skin with a healthy glow all day. I also use this on my neck before bed because it’s very rich without being sticky. It’s also great on really dry cuticles and skin. Because you only need one or two drops it’s perfect.
This is a very natural product with no additives or preservatives. This Chile-sourced oil has a yellow colour to it and absorbs well into the skin. There is a very slight odour to the oil but nothing to complain about.
The bottle arrived well-packaged and in good condition. The stopper has a long pipette for dispensing the product and, be warned, it has a tendency to drip and flow freely. Considering the amount of oil in the bottle and the small amount used this bottle should have a long life. Very impressed with the purity of this oil. Recommended.
This rosehip oil has everything you need in one bottle, you can use it on skin, hair and nails. You only need a small amount from the pipette to leave your skin feeling very soft. It absorbs quickly not leaving your skin oily. It is ideal for a scalp massage to repair damaged hair too. It contains vitamins A C and E ideal for scars, stretch marks and anti ageing. It is suitable for all skins.
Tried by my grand-daughter (20), who has used rosehip oil as skincare for quite a long time. She found this a bit more expensive than others she’s used, and said the quality was good but not outstanding. She found the smell pleasant, but not too strong or overpowering, and said the oil was not too greasy. She was disappointed that the pipette tended to drip.
I’ve been a fan of rosehips in all their forms for years – rosehip tea was my favourite drink, sadly nobody seems to make it any more. But I digress – I’ve also used the oil on my face for some time, it’s one of my favourites. I am always careful never to let the dropper touch my skin, so I’m not transferring any cleanser residue or any other pollutant back into the bottle. I literally just squeeze 2-3 drops onto the palm of my hand and that’s enough for my face and neck (although I’m in my 60s so maybe I’ll add a bit more for my neck, don’t want that turkey look!). This is cold pressed, so it’s not treated, and retains all its antioxidant benefits. I use it at night, and my skin feels sooo soft in the morning – it doesn’t leave greasy marks on your pillowcase either. I tend not to use it in the morning if I’m going to wear makeup, as I find my primer and foundation or concealer doesn’t sit quite so well, but that’s just me.
This is lovely stuff, in a really decent sized bottle too – you get a lot for your money!
Derora Rosehip Oil | Nourishes Skin, Hair & Nails is a rich oil yet immediately sinks into the skin leaving behind no greasy residue. I especially like to use this product on my nails as I have found my nails have become very dry and brittle as I have passed through menopause.
The oil is dispensed using a dropper and once applied to my skin and nails it was easily massaged leaving behind an excellent result.
Happy to recommend.
Rosehip oil has many reputed properties such as reducing inflammation, treating acne and eczema, and reducing the appearance of stretch marks and scars. Rosehip oil is rich in vitamins and it is not greasy so it smooth on the skin. Great by itself but you can also add essential oils for specific uses.

After doing a kettle research rosehip oil I’m hoping will really help my skin as I’m out a lot on the weekends in all weather conditions hiking long distances….
My skin unfortunately due to these factors and ageing is looking a little tired and worn… I have read so many positive advantages of rosehip oil on your face from helping with wrinkles to also brightening the skin as well as anti ageing properties on wrinklies.
I feel this is a good company the oil is manufactured in the UK which I’m happy about…
Also fantastic for hair of you combine with argan oil which I also have from the same brand….
Oil feels fantastic on skin its easily absorbed…..
Highly recommended…
Stick to UK manufacturing especially when it comes to item items you put in your body and on your body…. Beware of cheap Chinese alternatives….
This oil is a rich, luxurious, golden colour and looks and feels lovely. It comes in a glass bottle with a long glass pipette which makes dispensing the oil easy and mess free. I used it on my face before bed and in the morning my skin felt beautifully soft and smooth and hydrated, much more than it has with any other oil or moisturiser I have used. You can also use it on your nails and cuticles too. It is a totally natural product, cold pressed and unrefined, is rich in vitamins A, C and E and is vegan and cruelty free. The company is based in Hertfordshire UK. The bottle is 120ml so is a good size and will last a good long time. This is a fabulous oil that really nourishes and softens your skin and I love it.
I’m not a fan of the smell of the rosehip oil but it’s a lovely rich oil great for nourishing deep into the skin. Works well for my age (40s) but might be too heavy for younger skins who would need to use a lot less!
Luckily the rosehip aroma is very fient and doesn’t linger once massaged in.
The dropper makes controling the quantity used much easier than pouring, plus it’s far less mess.
I have always been a fan of rose oil, and have used it regularly as part of my evening skincare routine as my skin is very dry. I find it hydrates, soothes and also seems to calm down any redness and makes it feel so much better after cleansing and removing makeup for the day. This oil is in seed oil, it has more of a yellow coloured tone than others I have used before, however it’s smooth on the skin, smells lovely and after a few uses I would say works just as well as any other I have used. I also use this on my nails occasionally and find it helps when they feel dry. I also note that 100mls of product makes this a great buy for the money, that’s a lot more than the tiny pots you get usually so this will last a very long time. Interested to try others from this brand.
Rosehip oil is one of the best options from natural oils if you have oily, acne prone skin, it can help reduce swelling, fluid buildup and inflammation caused by acne and make it go away faster. The oil’s antibacterial properties and linoleic acid can help to reduce and prevent breakouts if you want to treat them in a natural way or if chemical skin care hasn’t been working.
Other benefits include increasing the strength of hair if used as a hair mask, provide fatty acids and vitamins to skin and hair, it can help brighten skin, reduce blackheads and unclog pores, as it is rich in Vitamin A it can even be used for anti-aging purposes as well as treat dry skin conditions.
Rosehip oil is medium/bright orange so it may stain your pillows or clothes if they are white. The oil is quite runny and not too thick, it is easy to spread across the skin and if you only use a few drops it can give the skin a nice glow and very hydrated feeling without greasy residue, the scent is also not too strong, to me it has a faint smell of dried flowers.
I have really been liking this oil from Derora so far, it leaves my oily yet often dehydrated feeling skin supple and moisturised.
I absolutely love this. You only need a few drops to apply to the face. The rosehip oil is nourishing and really helps moisturise and calm the skin. This 120ml bottle will last a long time. Lovely stuff.
I’m so impressed with the amount I received! The bottle has a pippette applicator and is easy to use. In addition I ordered this to apply to my nails and cuticles and they have made my hands look so much healthier and the skin feels so much more hydrated.
This rosehip oil arrived in a very nice packaging. The box contains the rose mary oil in a solid glass bottle with dropper which is very smooth and mess free.
The rosehip oil doesn’t have a smell, which is a plus point because I don’t like strong smells of my skin care oils.
I have started to use it on my hairs . I just put one or two drops in my shampoo each time I was my hair, they feel so smooth afterwards.
It looks promising and I am looking forward to see a result in my hair growth too.
So apart from hair, it has so many benefits for the skin and nails. It’s great for growth and anti aging self care product. It’s super hydrating and contains vitamins a, c and e. I have a very dry skin and my foundation starts caking, so when I apply the rosehip oil as a primer before my foundation, my foundation stays on without drying and gives a beautiful glow.
This can also be a perfect gift for christmas, birthday, etc because it comes in a very nice packaging and is a beneficial oil.
highly recommended and definitely worth the price. It’s a big bottle which will last long.
