This is really simple but amazing. It’s transformed my little electric stove and makes me feel like I’m sitting in a country cottage instead of a modern house. It might seem a bit expensive for a bit of plastic, but I think it’s worth it. It’s incredibly easy to put together and install. I haven’t screwed or stuck mine to the wall or the fire (yet), it just stays there. Recommended if you have an electric stove, it will make it look much more realistic.

Finishes the look a treat. The fact that the flue is extendable enables you to get just the right look for your fire.
This addition creates the look of an authentic log burner.

It’s quite expensive for a black plastic pipe, but it completes the look. 1* removed due to the cost, otherwise I would give 5*
This totally finishes off the Dimplex Optimyst fire & makes it look more authentic. It’s not cheap & could easily be included in cost of fire which is expensive already but it does add the finishing touch & makes the fire look more realistic.

Looks really beautiful on my stove, get lots of compliments on it. My stove is cream, still looks really nice though! For what it is it really does make a huge impact. Makes the whole room look better. Well worth the buy.
Its one of those things that for a piece of plastic is overpriced but looks the part and you just want it. Don’t think about the price too much if you want it just go for it. Looks nice.
In my opinion, this looks surprisingly real. It has a matt black finish – not a shiny finish as the picture would suggest. As such, it matches my electric stove perfectly! You just choose the height you want, click it together and place it on top. It comes with sticky pads and screws if you wish to secure it more firmly, but for me simply putting it on top has been just as effective. Visually, it’s made all the difference.

tall rather than cutting it just turn over and have the short part on top of the stove. So in effect there are 3 height sizes.!!
I’d say it’s expensive for what it is, but Dimplex have the market covered as the only plastic version of this.
This Dimplex Flue Pipe may be made of plastic, but don’t worry it looks just like cast iron from a distance. Light and easy to assemble fits above your electric stove and helps create the image of a real wood burner. Very pleased with my purchase.
Plastic pipe for electric dimplex stove – looks ok. I had to amend it to fit the distances required. Seal between extension pipe and elbow pipe is poor so it shows which is not so good.
It absolutely adds credibility – the stove just doesn’t really look authentic without it. Plastic it may be, but it doesn’t look that way.
It has been a standard routine when new visitors arrive and comment on our ‘log burner’, to whip away the chimney.
I have a small electric stove fire and this just fits on top, no need to use the fitments provided.
It has fooled everyone that calls, it’s so realistic it looks like a proper gas fire.
I’d recommend to anyone to buy this, just fabulous and a great seller.
It didn’t need to use both parts as the longer part would only be visable in my fire place , if I could have got away with a smaller version sold by B &Q at half the price I would have So worth checking measurements of what’s needed !
Bought this with the Dimplex Club Optiflame stove . I think that the stove would like fine without the pipe as well and I think it provides the finishing touch, although the price is a bit much for what is essentially a bit of plastic.
Downside is really just cost – you couldn’t call it good value for money but I’m still pleased with the effect.
I thought it looked abit small when I took it out of the box.However once it sits on top of the fire it looks really good and the perfect size.If you have an electric wood burner then this chimney really does make it look more authentic.I would definatelly recommend this and the delivery itself was quick and came well boxed.
Absolutely finished off the look of my Stockbrige woodburner, also bought the hearth pad, looks stunning altogether and finished off my my lounge perfectly. would of given 5 stars but the join between the long and short section was not a tight fit. however, used the short section only, and it actually looked better. fast delivery. excellent. would highly recommend!
A fixing kit comes with it which gives you the option to either screw it in or use adhesive pads to fix it to the top of the fire. I have used neither, as it sits on the top and leans against the wall perfectly, giving the illusion of a pipe disappearing into the wall.
A nice cosmetic touch for several of the Dimplex stoves.
We have two Dimplex stoves (a Stockbridge and a Club) and a bought a pipe for each of them. I can really recommended this product as it totally transforms the stoves, helping to make them look even more realistic. Friends have even commented that they were not too sure if the stoves were real, but were swayed when they saw that they had ‘proper stove pipes’.
The price might seem a bit high when compared to the price of the smaller stoves, but it is well worth the money. I can’t think of any reason at all why these pipes could not be used with other makes of electric stoves.
I love this stove pipe. It has changed my log burner from looking artificial to very realistic. This is a nice chunky pipe with the emblem stamped onto the pipe. Easy fitting it just stuck onto top of burner and onto wall and is a perfect fit, no gaps. I would recommend this pipe to anyone looking to update their log burner.
