I didn’t realise what I was missing while using hdmi cables until I plugged these into my monitor. What an absolute difference! I’ll definitely use display cables whenever available. This works well for me, and I can now use my monitor to it’s full capability.
Connected to a high end ultrasharp monitor for creative design, the picture was fast and responsive, the only negative was the thickness and inflexibility of the cable, but some would see that as a positive, thanks!!
I initially bought the 3 metre cable to collect a second monitor. I liked the results so much I bought a second cable for my mail monitor. The cables work well with multiple monitors. I have no had no issues.
I have a new NVidia GFX 3060 Ti so I thought I would drive my Dell U2412M monitor with a DisplayPort cable. I had a very long one but it didn’t give me a picture – only very briefly for a second or so. Then the monitor stated there was no signal and went into power saving mode. Hmm.
However, this cable here worked against expectations. Rock solid picture the instant I plugged it in and has remained like that ever since. Perhaps the other cable wasn’t up to spec but this one most certainly is.
Being 2m long means I can loop it from the PC to the monitor without it being stretched taught, and I’ve routed it through the cable management system of my monitor stand too.
All looking good.
Needed this as (surprisingly) one wasn’t included with my new BenQ 4K monitor. Great price for the 2 meter version which is what I wanted and it works just fine – sorted!
Not sure why this cable lost me around 20fps in games but it was proven by switching back to the original cable supplied this was the case. I bought this one as I needed a longer and more durable cable for cable management around the desk, sadly it didn’t live up to the claimed specs and cost me game fps so I had to switch back to the original. I’m sure it will be good for other monitors but sadly not on my 240hz monitor.
It’s a big upgrade from HDMI but the cable is very sensitive and temperamental ie. If you accidentally touch the cable where it plugs into the monitor or graphics card, the screen goes black and it loses connection. Most of the time it’s not an issue but it can be annoying!
here really isn’t much to say about this as it is just a cable and I haven’t done any signal testing on it but from my experience using it on a 2560x1440144Hz monitor it looks fine and I haven’t noticed any artifacting
overall if you don’t already have a display port cable I would recommend getting this one as from its looks alone the connectors and the cable look very durable and it is also quite cheap
The cable itself is long (maybe a tad too long), but it is incredibly durable. This is not going to fray or deteriorate anytime soon, which is the quality you want. It’ll probably outlast me!
Price for the cable was a little more than I’d usually pay for an HDMI, but it is damn good quality and certainly worth the extra money.
All in all, a great cable. I’d definitely recommend it, especially if you’re a gamer.
The 6.99 price for a cable of this quality is unbeatable and the quality on screen is great, definitely an improvement in colour and picture quality from HDMI.
I’ve ordered another to replace all my old ‘cheap plastic feeling’ HDMI cables. Thank you!
