These door holders are very well built and do the job well. We used the screw in method to install them so they were a little more difficult than using the adhesive method would have been. The magnets are very strong and they would hold a very heavy door. They were a great price and shipped to us immediately.
Good durable material, sticky side has stuck to my door and has not fallen off! Great buy because I’m always loosing them I gifted some to my friends because they are educators and loved them
These 4 door stoppers work great. They are thick, strong, and will hold doors open that are a bit higher than your average door.
The holder that goes onto the back of the door is perfect. It lessens the clutter and keeps you from losing your door stoppers.
I will say , the adhesive did fall off one door, after about a year. However, it is very easy to find something strong enough to keep it from falling off again…without hurting the finish on the door.
I would definitely recommend these door stoppers.
I love these. I’ve gotten them twice in my old house and new house. My garage door is fairly heavy and really closes on its own pretty immediately. This will attach easily and holds very well. I used the 3m instead of drilling and it is such a strong hold. Perfect for what I needed and a great price!
These are very well designed and quality made. I installed two – interior door and exterior door. I used the included screws. Worked very well! I pre-drilled to make the install better. Very happy! Very good quality for the price!
I wanted a doorstop with a magnet to stop my front door handle banging into my wall. This doorstop is solid and has a good but not too strong magnet to hold the door. Three screws & plugs hold a fixing plate to the wall, then the doorstop just screws onto that.
Very happy with it, a small thing but a good one.
I receive my order and the quality was solid and very sturdy, great for when you need a door to stay where it is, as above picture, can stick it down with the sticky pads supplied or screw it down to the floor or skirting board, because it can be fixed in 2ways , I used the sticky pads and then unscrewed it and used the screws provided to extra strength, I highly recommend this product and seller 5* .
Sturdy, easy to install, absolutely love these. Stops doors from closing when you want them open. Love the fact I can keep doors open & not have them slim shut when I open windows to let fresh air in the house. No more trying to prop doors open. Classy style, easy to release & closed doors when you need/want. Very happy with these!
Maybe I was doing it wrong but I had a difficult time lining the two parts up while installing. Because of this I couldn’t use the full strength of the magnet. However, the magnet strength is so good that they still keep my doors securely open with the magnet being misaligned.
This door holder does what’s advertised. It comes with screws or adhesive for alternative install. We can’t drill holes in things at work, so the adhesive was key. I was scared the sticky part would not be strong enough to remain stuck being as the magnet it so strong, but it is fine and still sticking to both. Got this cause my work door kept swinging closed after the hinges were oiled. Gave the other to my boss who had the same issue.
I originally bought this for one of the doors inside of my business. It was a plus that it came with 2, because my daughters door never seems to want to stay open. I highly recommend it, it was definitely worth the purchase. I used the adhesive stickers at both my home and my business and both have held up really well. I am constantly opening and closing the door at my business and the adhesive hasn’t come up at all. Simple, easy installation, and I didn’t even need my husband to install lol
i’ve been using a pillow-chair to hold my bedroom door open and I never knew these existed until I stumbled upon them. omg my life is so much easier now!! thank you for holding my bedroom door open, I don’t have to struggle with the bulky pillow and reposition it and have the door close randomly anymore.
but!! they weren’t long enough to hold open my front door, which is fine but I thought it’d be nice. it’d be cool if they made an extender.
Very easy to install. We got a new steel, fire safe door with a wood finish and can’t drill into it. We stuck the flat piece to the steel door first and then used the magnet to connect the ball piece to it. Peeled off the adhesive protector on the ball piece, opened the door, lined it up with the other door, and stuck it on. Carefully held the pieces where they magnet together and pulled them apart so one wouldn’t pull the other off the door, and pressed both pieces in place securely on each door. Let sit about 30 mins and tested it out. Works fantastic and isn’t and eyesore (have to remove old, ugly doorstop now).
I was worried about the durability and sturdiness of the adhesive double sided tape. It’s holding up really well and I’m very satisfied with the product.
It looks great and works very well. The magnet is strong enough but not too strong enough where it would make opening the door annoying.
Work great. Stronger than I expected. They will easily hold open any door. I used the provided screws so I have no idea how good the adhesive pads are. I have wallpaper and was afraid it would tear off.
These work perfectly for our house. I installed them on all the bedroom doors to keep them from blowing shut when it’s windy. Also installed it on the garage door which has been an excellent help for things like unloading groceries. Highly recommended!
I was so impressed with the first pair that I invested in another. The results were the same. I would, without reservation, recommend this product. It’s well made and does the job. I have to give a gentle pull for one door because the hold is quite bold, but I don’t mind that at all.
