Very good indeed, easy to use, no batteries required for the pump, uses a USB 5v, I plugged into the USB port on my PC and it worked no probs, it’s a great little sucker!
I am using an Ender3Neo and Prusa. This is by far the best filiment I have used. The Matt white finish almost looks like paper.
I have used this for wedding and Christmas prints and it looks brilliant.
There are never any strings, even with colour changes using Prusa. (Windmill blades)
I have never had any clogging issues and use 210 head and 60 plate and it sticks with no issues.
I will definitely be trying the other matt filiments from ESun.
I am definitely going to be giving the back a go!
Highly recommended from me!
Excellent product I wish you could buy extra bags
I contacted them and they say they can’t do bags separately at a good price
So it’s cheaper to buy the whole kit again
Which is a shame
Been printing for around 6 months now and this filament has been a dream to print with on my enclosed P1P. Great bed adhesion, fantastic finish and not a single clog yet. It’s very quickly became my go to filament.
The colour is actually quite nice and subtle, print quality turned out better than I initially expected and snapped off of the heated glass bed without issues, was easy to sand down with Scott bright and metal files.
Very happy with this reel!
This works very well, and an almost essential tool if you’ve got dozens of half-used filament spools laying around.
The pump is possibly the most feeble pump I’ve ever seen, but it’s sufficient for the job.
Comes in the box with a bag of hydrochromic dessicant packets, and the green upgraded bags come with better seals (in comparison to the older blue ones).
Oh, and the USB vacuum pump does also work fine on the older / manual blue bags.
Prints pretty well at 220 degrees with a retraction distance of 5mm and 40mm/s retraction speed.
I took a punt that this may match the colour of Makita tools, it doesn’t as its too green… not surprising really as the Makita colour is technically a blue. Just adding this info here in case it is of use to someone else!
Prints very well for me at 215/60, possibly one of my favourite materials to print (tried on a modified ender 3 and a Prusa mk3s). Matte finish is good and seems to hide layer lines a lot better than shiny filaments. Haven’t done any scientific or rigorous testing but it feels stronger than standard cheap PLA.
I use this filament in an old CTC printer purchased from Amazon 5 years ago and still running.
This filament produces excellent quality parts, the finish is consistently good, clean and no sign of bubbles, it’s consistent in the size and the adhesion is excellent.
The frosted black look makes things look very professional and as long as you orientate your parts correctly, you can end up with a part which requires no finishing as the black is excellent.
For the most part this has proved to be not too bad a filament and has produced some very good results when running at normal speeds, but can be a little, for want of a better word, crumbly at higher speeds.
I’m getting excellent print quality with the grey PLA. Very good bed adhesion, nice matt surface finish. This stuff is great. I particularly like the fact it came on a cardboard reel. Would definitely buy again.
This is the second time I’ve ordered Esun filament now and I’ve not been disappointed! I’ve had some very good quality prints from a low price filament!
Just goes to show that you don’t have to spend loads to get the quality!
For my printer, this prints very nicely at 195c which to some may seem low but it’s achieving great results!
The reel came nicely wound and sealed with some silica gel to keep out any moisture during transit.
I would recommend Esun filament all day long!
Excellent matte, obviously as with many matte finish filaments it’s a bit more fragile and finicky with small details, but in typical eSun fashion It’s still one of the easiest to work with.
I’ve managed to print tiny faces, and fingers as thin as 1mm, which you just can’t do with some of the others I’ve tried.
This filament is brilliant as it prints with minimal stringing at a speed of 180-200 mm/s, although it doesn’t adhere to the glass heated bed on my Ender 3 V2 to great unless you are printing really slowly and having the bed at 60 degrees but once the first layer is complete then it is no problem. When damaging or cutting the models my black filament becomes white, I assume this is because when plastic is damaged it can leave white marks from stress and strain. Otherwise I would highly recommend this filament due to its great print quality, cheap price and its lower impact on the environment.
Print quality is great, as with all esun pla plus filament. I purchased the red, which turns out more of an orange. The proper red is labeled as firetruck red, so get that if you want a real red
Excluding the color, the print quality is superb and as always, easy to use with esun. Esun has become my goto brand for filament now. A bit more expensive than others, but as others are pla and not pla plus, the price is worth i
I did get this on one of those flash deals which knocked a fiver off the full price. Really good value for money.
The colour is excellent, a deep, pleasant navy blue.
The print quality is good… I’m going through a rough patch on my printer since changing nozzles when the model attached was printed, but it prints as good as premium filaments like Prusament (OK ‘nearly’ as good so 4* for quality but it’s half the price of them!)
The model is a print in place closing iris box (thing:1817180), at 100% scale. The model requires a well tuned printer and a decent filament. I had no issues with this filament, came out well on the first try. I have also printed the same model on other eSun PLA+, and they all do work well.
