What is Apple Find My app and Find My network?

Find My app is a pre-installed app on devices from Apple. The Find My network is a network of hundreds of millions of Apple devices to detect missing devices or items nearby and report their location to the owner.

How do I add my SmartTrack device to Apple’s Find My app?

Press and hold the button on SmartTrack for two seconds, you will hear a tone. Open the Find My app and tap Items > + > Add Other Item. Find My will find your SmartTrack device. Follow the on screen prompts to complete setup.

Is SmartTrack certified by Apple?

Yes, it is certified and works seamlessly with the Find My app and network.

Does it have GPS?

No, it doesn’t. SmartTrack connects to devices via Bluetooth and reports its location through Apple’s Find My network.

Can I use SmartTrack if I am an Android user?

No, you can not use SmartTrack Link on Android services.

My boyfriend is forever losing his keys, so I bought this to put on his car keys and within hours he lost them. All you need to do is click find my keys on the find my iPhone app and then the little device makes a noise. 10/10

These are brilliant I have a few of them now. Are use them for my keys and my car as it makes it easy to locate your car in the multistorey car park or an open venue like the NEC. We don’t have to worry just put the tracker on and find a car when we have parked. It is always handy to have a few of these are use them in the house so I can locate the keys if we have misplaced them as the alarm on. These are quite loud so you can hear it quite a distance away. I have so far had to change the batteries on these once a year which isn’t too bad.

Easy to use. Bought for cases but needs to be connected to the apple network if to be used on suitcases. Currently using on my keys which is great as I can locate with ease from my phone. So far battery life is ok.

I have been looking at an Apple AirTag for a while but didn’t want to spend the money. I found this for much cheaper that works with find my on Apple and it’s brilliant, works well and good sound when lost.

As someone who has a few AirTags these are an absolute steal. I couldn’t resist buying several when they were on offer for 13.99! The only thing AirTags do that these don’t is precision/AR finding for the last few feet. Other than that these are perfect and much better value – same battery life, accurate in Find My. Highly recommended, especially when on offer.

Great little tracker, so glad it works never similar to airtags but much cheaper. So if you don’t mind not having a compass for getting precise location. However the tracking has always got me within a few feet of the location and you can make the tracker beep so that’s not a deal breaker for me.

The only thing I want is Eufy to update the application on my phone so I can choose another notification sound. 🙂

I have one of these on my purse and keys. So useful as attach to phone and the app is easy to use, also handy to have on find my items on iPhone. The only downside is often I have my keys in my pocket and the find iPhone is often set off meaning my phone starts playing music at not always the best time, meetings etc. It is very sensitive, I would say this happens multiple times a day

I have ordered 3 Eufy security tags, I have set up 2 effortlessly including in find my app. I have not tried yet though with tracking.

The other 1 item does not work/ pair at all despite following troubleshoot problems hence I gave 1 star only

They have sent a replacement, seller was very prompt in answering my questions. I did not ask for replacement but they have sent one, and explained that previous item might be not functional due to Bluetooth issues. But the one they have sent was mint and all working well. Thank you! Overall happy now

I currently use AirTags and wanted to try this and the Eufy wallet/purse tracker. Overall I am pretty impressed with both. The key tracker and wallet/purse tracker uses both the eufy security app that is used for for their security cameras (which keeps everything together in one place) and the apple find friends app. Both work just as well. The key fob has a handy key ring hole so not additional holders required like the AirTag. My only gripe is that when tracing the key tag it doesn’t go into close direction tracking with the iPhone like the AirTags however (maybe a later update). Overall a great alternative or addition to the AirTag system.

This smart device has been a lifesaver for helping me locate my misplaced items quickly and easily. With seamless integration with Apple Find My, I can track my belongings with confidence. The setup was a breeze, and the range is impressive. Just like Airtags but much cheaper. Highly recommend

Comparable in use to my old tile key finder, the false press prevention doesn’t work but then the tile also annoyed me with false presses. I have it linked to my iPhone, my iPad and my android phone. Works well on all. Works on android but via the eufy app where as on IOS you can use find my app and eufy app. Overall I’m happy with i

Very good tracker which works seamlessly with the apple find my phone app.

What IS a bit annoying is how easily the button is pressed whilst in your pocket, which starts beeping in an attempt to locate my mobile phone. There should either be a case, or a more recessed button to prevent this.

I bought this tracker tag for my dog, who likes to run away and hide in the most unexpected places. I was skeptical at first, but this thing works like a charm! It’s easy to set up, has a long battery life, and sends me alerts on my phone whenever my dog is out of range. Now I can always find him, whether he’s under the couch, in the neighbor’s yard, or at the local butcher shop. This tracker tag has saved me so much time and stress, and my dog seems to enjoy the game of hide and seek. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has a furry escape artist at home!

I like that fact this is so much cheaper than an air tag, but has almost the same features for much less money as well as actually having a keychain hole! Plus you can share the device with the Eufy app, this is something Find My doesn’t get until iOS 17 released.

The only downside is the double click to find your phone, several times a day this was happening in my pocket. The button is too easy to press. You can disable this, but the device itself still beeps. This needs some work.

Overall great, but the accident double click is likely to reduce battery life, even if you can disable it ringing the phone in the app.

[update 21/07/2023]
Recent firmware update improves accidental press noises, stopping a long press making a noise, but still the accidental double press in my pocket happens which beeps the device – although I’ve disabled it ringing my phone. Please also disable the double press beep, if you’ve disable find my phone in the app.

I’ve changed to a 4* rating as they are improving the firmware, also Eufy contacted me after my initial review and offered to refund the product, with no strings attached. I wasn’t going to update my review, but as I see they are also improving the firmware it only seemed fair.

Having being recently reconverted to an iPhone I was interested in trying a tag of some description. I’ve long been a fan of Anker products, chargers, cables and power banks so I know they are good quality items. It also helped that when I searched on Amazon the single tags were on sale. Two made their way into my basket with the intention of popping them in our suitcases when we went on holiday.
Lo and behold it actually worked! I knew our suitcases were on the tarmac near our plane and then watched them shuffle on board. Little things please little mindsand my little mind was very happy indeed!
So far they have worked flawlessly and I’m extremely impressed. Another win for Anker!

The item works fine, however, this item has a QR code on the back to scan if found. the QR code has been duplicated as the details can’t be changed and it’s registered to someone else. I contacted the customer service at Eufy and they were more than helpful. A replacement was sent out straight away. If all customer service departments were like this then people would smile more. Well done Eufy. The reason I’ve not scored 5stars is because the tracker is only as good as your Bluetooth connection, I really wanted this for my dogs collar but it’s more for finding your car keys in the house.

AirTag’s have a big problem – you can’t share them. Not even with family members in your iCloud account that can already see all your devices. These give you a way around that, you can share the tags through the Eufy app. It’s not a perfect solution, but you still have Find My integration at the same time, so if Apple one day decide in all their wisdom to allow AirTags to be shared (like all the other devices in iCloud) maybe these will be able to be shared through Find My too. It would be great if Anker could put some pressure on Apple about this issue.
