Bought this to make sure the temperature was accurate for my dogs whelping box. It worked great. It’s easy to use, small enough to not take a lot of room. Used everyday, multiple times a day, for 4 weeks and didn’t need to replace the batteries. Good buy
My husband loved this. He checks the temp on motorcycle engines etc when working on them and also pizza oven stones in his pizza oven. You can use it for many applications, even checking to see what the temp of your dashboard in car is on a hot sunny day. Not recommended for use on people, not sure why exactly but never tried after I saw that suggestion, I assume the laser can damage the eyes? Not sure but this works great, a good buy for the money!
This is so easy to use. Saves time standing with a thermostat in running water.
Just point and press the trigger. We use it to test the water temperature for service users. Best thing we ever bought.
For the money this is worth every penny not perfect a bit on the high side of exact temperature I’ve noticed but taking that into consideration and the price it gives a fair temp if critical isn’t a problem if it is then spend alot more money

Ottimo e rapido il sistema con puntatore laser e trigger per far rilevare la temperatura. Pu essere disattivato il laser, gradi C centigradi o Celsius oppure Farenheit. It’s simple to use and accurate enough for my pizza making efforts.
An infra-red thermometer is used to measure the temperature of the pizza stone on which you will place the pizza to be baked. An air thermometer measures the air temperature of the oven, which bakes the top of the pizza. The oven thermostat measures the air temperature, or you can use an oven thermometer.
You should insert the pizza only when the stone and the air temperatures are roughly equal. In my fan oven it takes my pizza stone 40 minutes to reach a temperature of 250 degrees C, whereas the air in the oven takes only 25 minutes to reach 250.
Amazon driver left package in common area but the product is great! Bought it to measure temperature of stainless steel pan for cooking but it’s handy for measuring liquids and anything you want! Love the display! Great value!
we use it for pizza ovens because it registers temps high enough (was caught out with a previous purchase that only went to 350deg).

Product arrived quickly but , unfortunately did not work properly. The infrared reading was ok but the ambient room temperature was not correct, showing 0 all the time, and the adjustment push buttons were not working After an initial query by email to Eventek customer support, they confirmed that the unit was not working properly and agreed to send me a new on, which arrived quickly. Communication was polite and helpful. Problem was resolved efficiently and the new unit is working well. Thanks!
It does feel a bit cheap plasticky in the hand.
However, that said and the negatives out of the way, it is also the only negative point I could mention. I used this for my pizza oven and in my experience it seems accurate and reliable. It was held up in front of the open door of the pizza oven at 450 degree Celsius and continued to work as expected.
Easy to use and very accurate, makes deep frying a breeze! Also great to know the temperature of a pan or bbq before you put a steak on.
Also can be used to find cold spots anywhere you aim it!
Does everything that I needed it to do. The laser pointer for the wall / surface temperature is really good, and is very sensitive and the response is very quick when scanning over an area. I was surprised to find the using the supplied wire for testing inside or behind things also worked really well and was quite quick at responding to the changing temperature. The main use for checking RH, temp, and due point is a little less responsive since it takes a little too long to settle on the readings, so you have to wait maybe 3 or 4 mins before getting a stable reading, which means it takes a long time to respond to rapid changes in humidity if that’s what is needed. Liked the multi-coloured, bright lit screen. Overall good product at a reasonable price.

It seems well-made, and of good quality. It’s simple to use, with excellent temp range and clear to see laser spots.
My husband is having a lot of fun with the device and has been checking everything in the house from radiators to door knobs!
I like to use it to check the temperature of my oven as the oven is about 100 years old (Lol!) and I really need to rely on the temperature reading. Cake and bread came out from the oven perfectly baked so I guess the readings are accurate.
Overall, a reasonably priced monitoring temperature device that’s useful and seems to give accurate readings.

I use this to check basking spots in snake and lizard tanks and so far seems pretty accurate on temperatures, I have a thermostat and thermometers/hydrometers in tank but use this to check surface temp of basking stones and logs.It arrives in branded box with batteries and instructions sheet.It’s simple to use and also reads humidity.
