Great value for money. Bonus of brass fittings at both ends and a brass connector for tap with spare washers! Caught me by surprise as holds a lot of water in it under pressure after tap turned off unlike normal hose. Took off end fitting to change it and soaked not only me but my wife as well as it expelled the contents under quite a bit of pressure! Shrinks down to tidy set of coils.
Great little hose. Does not come with a hose spray, but fittings are brass and made well. Hose is strong, we have high water pressure and it copes well with that! Would recommend
Great item but I did order a 50ft. In useful reality you may get 40ft out of it at a pull. If they’re have said 40ft I’d have come for something longer. Be more accurate.
Tried this space saving hose for the first time today.
The brass fittings appear to be good quality and fitted easily to the tap.
Love how it extends when the water is turned on and returns to original shape after using.
Very easy to store, saves having a hosepipe out all over the garden!

Two consideration with any hose is:
Does it seal well? I’d say yes
Is it durable? So far zero issues, it seems to be a quality material
Although I have enough spare spray heads to use this as a fuly fledged garden hose (this one came without a spray head) I decided to use this to extend my other 50ft hose so I can easily reach the bottom of the garden where my veggies are planted.

Not related to this product directlly…but it took a while or m to track down a connector for the two hoses …but found a two pack set on Amazon ZHANMAI 2 Pack Brass Garden Hose Connectors… worth investing in as this type of connector does not come with the hose pipe (although there are a couple of others that do)
A solid length of pipe (steady, madam), which has quickly replaced my generic pipe. This is much more easily stretched and retracted and the lack of kinks is a big selling point for me as I hate having to flip and twist and churn my other hose, battling as if it t’were a giant snake an I was an Amazon explorer. I like the colour too, makes a different from the usual barren greys and greens.
I found this hosepipe to be very well produced. I could not get it to kink at all, and it does shrink back to the original size after a while. It is easy to store, and comes with nicely machined brass fittings. Once fitted and in use I have seen no leakage.
As a straight forward hose pipe used with mains pressure, it is excellent.
However, I actually ordered this hose for use with my pressure washer which I run from low pressure (gravity) water butts, and it was not a happy story. The main problem for me being that as the hose is stretched, the bore seems to become too small for a good flow. Or, it might be my pressure washer at fault (although with a standard bore reinforced hose the washer works very well).
It does take effort to stretch the hose, so make sure the OUTLET IT IS ATTACHED TO IS FIRMLY FIXED. I was not at all confident to try stretching the hose while attached to the plastic taps on my water butts.
I also found that the hose seems reluctant to expand out to 50ft of length, but this may well be down to me not being brave enough to pull hard.
This is a good hose, but not really suited to use with water butts in my opinion.
I love this hose, clipped straight onto my garden tap. Well made adaptors.
It flexed and stretched, but the thing I found best, and didn’t even think about it when ordering, is how easy it is to put away after. No more though hose that knots up and takes time to pack away.
Just turn the tap off and roll it up. Done.

This is a fairly substantial hose which is easy to handle, especially if working in a clear area or open space. If working in the garden amongst plants it can easily get caught up or cause damage. It has quite a small bore, and so delivers less water than a conventional garden hose, so watering will take longer, also if hoping for a powerful jet for car washing, that will be reduced.
The snap fittings are compatible with the Gerdena or Hozelock type snap connectors, making connecting up easy,
Where this really wins is one its easy of use, being lightweight and very flexible there are none of the problems compared to the more rigid typical garden hose.
This is an expanding hose. The things I look for on these are good seals , strong outer material and different connection types. This hose ticks all of those boxes.
The outer material is tough and stretchy , as it needs to be, like a woven fabric . I was Impressed when I took the metal end off to reveal a well sealed hose. Tbh I don’t mind plastic ends as metal can bang and scratch things, but then again these will not fade or go brittle like plastic can.
I like that you get a screw type attachment as well for an outside tap, the default is hoselock push type. You will need to retract the metal ring to be able to insert your hoselock male end.
The hose packs up small but when filled , expends giving you more length. Take care when you remove the hose , I recommend taking off your spray attachment first outside to release water as this type has a lot of water pressure inside and water will shoot out much faster than a traditional hose.
All in all a nice looking durable hose that will save you space, and at a reasonable price too.

I wanted a hose to go from a tap the front of my garage for car / bike washing.
I tested this today and found
it really is small – fitting into a small plastic bag
it really does not tangle – I compared it with a traditional “semi-rigid” garden hose which is always getting kinked – and this was a LOT, LOT better
the build was good – I had no leaks at all
the pressure down the hose was just as expected – and a lot better than using the traditional plastic hose that kinks as you walk around the car
only gripe is the length – parking 5-6 feet from the garage door, so as not to water the inside of the garage, the hose just reaches the back of a large Toyota. So I can’t face the rear of the car to rinse it off. Another 5-6 feet length is all that would be needed. It is described as being stretchable to “50 feet” but it didn’t feel safe to me to stretch it more than a car length + 6 feet more as I didn’t want to risk more tension on the garage tap.
I like this – the design and finish is excellent and it is much nicer to work with as it didn’t kink once in 20 minutes of use as I walked around. I am now looking for a longer hose in a similar design to have permanently in the garage while this one heads for the garden to water all the garden tubs.
