Item arrived quickly and worked straight out of the box. Came with three spare bulbs.
Bulbs are plastic so should be able to take a few knocks. Comes with standard UK plug.
They have been outside in all weather and so far have continued to work. Four stars given as we have only had them for a week.
These are lovely and easy to install with the little clips on each light, which is ideal as I need to remove them in order to trim the greenery. My only complaint is the ridiculous plug is at least 14cm deep which means it’s impossible to close the outdoor outlet casing in order to prevent these from getting wet – they have to remain wide open since the plug juts out so far. It is really stupid, but thankfully they are still working.
Exactly what I wanted – they connected together really easily and were straightforward to install (I used a screw and some gardening wire to attach them to the surroundings). I was concerned from some of the reviews that it would be a harsh white light, but that isn’t my opinion at all. They are more orange/yellow in my experience and medium-strong brightness. They’d be even better if the length between the plug and the first bulb was longer, but it’s not a big issue. They’ve been in some heavy rain and still working/looking great. For the price, I’m really pleased!
Certainly made my garden a longer entertaining, where we went way into the evening. They look lovely. Smaller than I expected in the bulb size, but actually prefer them. Well worth the price.
These lights went the length of my garden twice, really light up the area for a cosy night in the garden in summer or lights up the dark winter nights so far so good. Bought a second set as I like them that much!
These lights are at an amazing price and look amazing when up. The bonus with these lights is that you can attach them together to extend the length and it all runs off 1 plug – no longer have to plug loads of plugs in to light up the garden at nigh
These are easy to put up and were not tangled up in the box which was good. They are about the size of a ping pong ball which is just big enough to give a classy soft light. Really pleased
Thanks to the team for sending a replacement set following non of the bulbs working. Must have been some spurious thing that happens. But they sent a new item so back to 5 stars for me. They look really good as well
I was very sceptical when purchasing these as to whether or not they would be as good as people made out. I looked at several reviews with pictures and thought I’d give them a go for the price. Considering they are almost half the price of other 5 star lights they perform very well. They give out enough light for the mood we were looking for. If you are reading this go for it, you’ll be pleased you did. If you’re not send them back!
Have these around our metal fixed gazebo. Lights look great, nice and bright even with the soft glow.
Plenty of lights means you can set them out in our case around all 4 pillars and roofing edges plus up into the apex, creating nice homely feel.
Each bulb holder has an easy fit clip so have just used are curtain rail hooks to hang from for the roofing and tie wrapped around legs.
Bulbs are hard cased plastic so can withstand minor knocks no problem.
Plenty of spare lead extension to the plug, only downside is the plug is the long horizontal unit like Christmas tree lights, not a standard 90 degree uk plug which means it won’t house completely in our outside mains unit and we have to operate with the mains cover open when we need to, otherwise would have given 5 stars
Very happy with these lights. They are cheap,and the quality is definitely good.
The cabling is consistent and the spaces between the bulbs is spot on. They seem durable too as I had to moved them under thick hedgerow numerous times to get my setup just right. Having just had an almighty downpour and thunderstorm, I can vouch for their waterproof rating too.
You can unscrew any number of the bulbs if you don’t need them in certain places, and this DOES NOT stop the remaining bulbs from functioning.
I added a smart plug to the setup so I can operate them easily without returning to the plug.
Only mild criticism is I don’t think the colour of the lights is quite as ‘warm’ as advertised. However it definitely isn’t ‘cold white’ either, so I’m not whinging too much.
All in all very happy with the purchase and end result.
Wanted a set of lights for the garden but most I looked at were either not long enough or the right colour for what we were looking for. These at 30m long and being warm white were perfect, they go down one side across the back and finish on the left corner of the shed, so wrap all round where our seating area is. Couldn’t be happier with them, a really good buy.
Wow these are great. Long enough to for the whole half side of my garden fence and enough to wind round my trees. Set up in readiness for my housewarming and pre-birthday party this weekend. You’ll hear back from me any issues but so far all good. Some lights didn’t come on but it just needed screwing in a big more. Didn’t see an extra bulb in the box though like some viewers mentioned. The proper video of the whole garden was too long to attach but I will attach a photo when I update my review.
