The tools seem OK for the price. As long as the push plate doesn’t bend they should work OK. Down side… The case is poor. The adaptors don’t stay put so when I opened the case it was a miss match of chaos! I’ll likely just pike them in to a box which is a pain.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI had to buy this tool as I wanted to replace the rear discs and brake pads of my car.
It was easy to use. Adapter plates for many different makes of car. It appears to be very well made. Also great value for money. As I’ve saved a fortune on garage labour cost.
Recommended as a very handy tool for the shed. Not a everyday used tool but essential when needed.

Great kit, and whilst I only used some of the bits, it was key in making sure the job was done properly and professionally… This was easy to use, and pushed the caliper piston back properly and safely, worth adding to the tool collection.

This is the best brake pad removal tool I’ve ever used it pushes back the piston with ease comes with numerous attachments and sizes I’ve used it on 3 different cars already its a lot better and easier than my old brake pad removal tool that you had to strain to push back the brake cylinder with this tool it pushes the cylinder all the way back without using much strength

Purchased two cheaper car specific tools before this one. Neither of the previous ones fitted. This one worked a treat and has loads of adapters fir other makes, also much better built than previous ones I tried . Great value for money.

Got this to wind back the rear callipers on the wife’s Audi A3 2012.

Its fairly obvious which adapter fits your type of callipers well. If you’re stuck, get onto YouTube and you’ll soon be on your way.

Some reviews have said that bits of the kit bent under use. I really don’t know how that would be possible unless your calliper is seized and you’re being a total toolbag with a hammer and length of pipe to put severe pressure on the gear.

This is a good bit of kit which will last for years

No problems what so ever with this product. Great case, good selection of adaptors, nice touch having a pair of gloves included (not great for working on cars but they are a bonus). The only thing I think I would like to see is having the ends of the bars be removable so you could put a longer bar in there for extra stiff callipers. I used these on my VW Passat with no issues.

Bought this brake re-wind set to wind back the rear brake pistons of a 2006 KIA Picanto. Although the Picanto is not specifically mentioned as a vehicle this set will fit, disc #4 fitted with no issue.

Well made and I’m sure will continue to serve well for many years to come.

I have changed pads before although on older cars and was able to simply push the pistons back into the calipers without a special tool. The ones on my Golf Mk 6 need winding back and this was easy using this special tool set. Having dealt with the pad change I am of the opinion that such a tool is a MUST and without this pushing back the pistons would be close to impossible!

Struggled to push back the piston on my brake calipers on my Honda Civic, Ordered this set which has a comprehensive range of different sized discs, and a tool press for both left and right calipers. the set looks strong and well made.
I selected the disc which best fitted the groves on the caliper piston, followed the instructions supplied and just turned the handle on the press and the piston pushed back with ease.

This kit is pretty much good enough for a professional.

I used it to work in my S-Max callipers and it was flawless. Made the job so easy.

I bought this set as I may have other cars in the future, or to help family/friends.

No need to spend out on expensive tool kits when this is here. The BEST and sturdiest tool ever. Excellent value for money. Do not spend any money more than the price for this!! Does an amazing job. Brilliant carry case which doesn’t allow the tools to fall out. Provides instructions and gloves too!

Good quality set. Did the job on a mk 5 Golf TDI rear brakes. Handle bent a bit because I had a seized piston. Would have got 5 stars if it had a drive on the end to fit a spanner or ratchet for those tight ones! Money well spent.

It was delivered as I was doing the disc and pad change on my car. Couldn’t have arrived at a better time. Great piece of kit. I’d never used one before but it was a breeze to use as I had previously watched a YouTube video. Works perfect on a Peugeot 508 rear brake calliper. It effortlessly winds the piston back in seconds. Just remember to remove some brake fluid from the reservoir first as the level rises as the pistons are squeezed in.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis set is all you would ever need to be able to wind back any brake pistons. There is adaptors that will fit all different makes and models and these make the job so much easier. I used to use the old clamp method and it did work fine, however this set makes the process even easier and because the adaptors fit properly risk of damage is minimised. I can say that i will probably never use all of the bits in this set but i’d expect it to last many years and cover any future brake changes.

Did what I needed from it but was a bit of a hassle getting it to work initially. There are no instructions on how to use it but to be honest it is fairly easy to work it out. The problem I had was that the caliper piston had come very far out and I couldn’t fit the tool onto it and get purchase to wind it back in. Adding the correct fitment makes the tool quite long and I couldn’t get the whole tool onto the piston and also behind the caliper body to give it leverage. But with a bit of mucking about it did work and I wouldn’t have been able to finish the job without it. Plus the gloves are a nice touch but really only usable once.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis product is really good quality.. Have used this bit of kit on three or four different marques of car now with zero issues. The materials are of good quality – there is no bending or deformation of the individual nodes on the respective adapters.
I have had Sealey and Draper versions of this kit – upwards of 60/80, and in my opinion the kits are exactly the same.
My only criticism is that the box they come in does not keep the adapters in there respective places. Each time you open the kit, you will find 75% of the contents loose and falling out on you. For the price of the kit, this doesn’t bother me personally – but it might be a deal breaker for some.

An inexpensive but effective caliper piston windback tool. Worked well on Alfa Mito rear calipers so far & see no reason why it shouldnt work well on other makes using the wide selection of piston adaptor plates in the kit. Keep the parts oiled when in storage as any moisture seems to easily lead to surface corrosion. Cant fault this for the price though for use on an occasional rather than daily basis.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersThis is a useful assortment of adaptors, plus two sizes of brace plate and both left and right handed winders. The larger components are suitable for cars, the smaller items for motorbikes. The various adaptors are held to a winder by magnetism, and the pair of lugs applies the torque.

The box holds the components in their places, but its plastic is soft and wears quickly, allowing things to rattle around after just a few cycles of use. It is good enough for hobbyist use, but might become annoying for a professional.

The metal used for the tools is simple steel, and will rust if allowed to become damp, but an occasional wipe over with an oily rag should help preserve them. The key numbers and letters on the adaptors correspond to their locations in the box, but not always to the list on the printed instruction sheet that is included – some common sense is required in selecting the tool for the job.

I used the four pin adaptor (E) on the rear calipers of an NC MX5, and it made life so very easy, just remembering to add a touch of brake fluid as a lubricant to allow the piston to rotate freely within the dust seal bellows (having previously gently swept off all dust with a soft brush and vacuum cleaner, NOT an air line).
