I had metal 40 x 40 posts to concrete into the ground. The auger and an electric drill did the job literally in seconds. Good strong blades too, as I had 12 holes to drill and a few caught some rocks on the way down.
Blades survived well. Good pieces of kit.
Brought these to bore a hole in my lawn for a washing line pole. My soil was pitted with small stones which the cutter didn’t really like but still managed to to bore a hole deep enough for what I needed.
If I’d been using it in just compacted soil it would have had no problem.
End of the day I used it for and in something it wasn’t made for but did the job anyway.
This product is excellent for digging holes for plants or even digging out stubborn weeds from the soil. I have a 12 vault drill and it works adequately with that but would be even better with an 18 vault product no doubt. I intend to preserve the life of the product by keeping it away from stonework etc which wouldn’t do it any good – but it is sturdy and I love it.
Great purchase, arrived quickly. Worked well helping me dig a deep hole in a clay type soil, used the small auger first and then widened it with the second. Both worked well, cutting well and bringing out small to mid size stones.
Bought these as have a back injury to help planting bulbs very handy but b carful of catching roots or stone as will twist wrist if useing powerful drill still very handy for other uses
he screws that i used for my old tv to the wall bracket were the right size but were to long for this TV. But manged to fix it, I was very easy to do the installation. It was automatic in most cases. .Good value for the money. excellent picture quality but sound a bit weak .Probably needs a sound bar.
I find there is a problem tightening a cordless drill tight enough to hold the drill in hard soil like an old lawn. If I use my corded drill with a chuck key it is ok
Otherwise the drills are ok. Pity as it’s easier to use with a cordless drill
The small one super for planting bulbs in garden .just add it to your drill and drill into ground pulling up and out of ground when deep enough .then pop bulb into hole and refill hole ..Super easy to use and makes an easy job of planting.
