Even watering
The nozzles of the Aqua S rectangular sprinkler are able to evenly and precisely water your lawn across an area 90 to 220 m² in size. It won’t even cause puddles.
Easy to clean off dirt and limescale

I needed to make sure my new lawn was well watered in the summer. This sprinkler does a great job, as you can adjust the spray area, so you can water exactly where you want.
Really happy with this. Had a few over the years as the plastic goes brittle and they brake up.
This a small but would say the best so far great water fan light in weight but don’t let that put you off.
Time will tell.
My old sprinkler had a rather stiff knob for adusting it’s range and that finally siezed up a few weeks ago necessitating a replacment.
This Gardena sprinkler is so much simpler and intuative (there are simple sliders to adjust the range it moves to left and right) and it is heavy enough with metal spacers to remain fixed in the place I put it as I move it around the lawn.
I think the 18m range is a bit optimistic (Maybe I don’t have enough pressure) but all in all, it seems well made and does what I need of it.
German design, just great, you can adjust the spray nozzles with the 2 little levers that means you are adjusting the width of the spray pattern. Also the small valve on the sprinkler means you can adjust the water pressure and therefore height of the spray meaning you’re not running back and forwards to tap and sprinkler to get your optimum coverage. Feels better quality than the more expensive hose lock sprinklers I have bought in the past, also the plastic the hose lock sprinklers are made from seem to degrade and become brittle from sunlight UV as all 5 of them have broken in a similar place on the frame or the oscillating mechanism malfunctions leaving it useless. Looks like I will be getting more than one season out of the Gardena. A lot of thought has gone into this design, just grea
Bought to replace a very old oscillating bar sprinkler … Also a Gardena, as I wanted more control and better coverage.
It achieves both and although we don’t have very high water pressure it manages to deliver 6L pet minute.
I wasn’t disappointed and I am rather chuffed! It does an excellent job in our (albeit smallish) garden – and that’s despite low water pressure. Indeed, the maximum spray range is at least 30% better than our old sprinkler.
It’s easy to set up and use with a more than adequate spray range – the height of the spray is easily controlled with the garden tap whereas the range is adjusted using the orange controls on the sprinkler itself. Like all sprinklers I have ever used, it does have a tendency to wander a bit while spraying. I find a couple of small metal tent pegs are ideal for holding it in place – see the video.
After a few weeks it’s still working well with no unexpected leaks, drips or connectors popping off. Spending the small amount extra for a quality product was well worth it.
With a reasonable price and fast next day delivery, we have no complaints
UPDATE
After a winter in dry storage the sprinkler is working fine again this summer. Excellent!
First and foremost, the performance of this sprinkler is impeccable. Regardless of the water pressure, it delivers a consistent and even spray, ensuring that every corner of my garden receives the perfect amount of water. Its ability to adapt to different water pressures is truly remarkable, setting it apart from other sprinklers I’ve tried in the past.
This sprinkler does its job flawlessly without any unnecessary complications.
While it is too early to comment on its long-term durability, the initial impression has left me with high hopes.
Speaking of the brand, this is the second product I have purchased from them, and I am thoroughly impressed. Their commitment to quality is evident in every aspect, from design to performance. I am delighted to have found a brand I can rely on for my gardening needs so far!
In conclusion, the best way to describe my experience with this sprinkler is love at first sight. It ticks all the boxes for a gardener’s dream equipment—superb performance, effortless usability, and an enchanting display of water distribution. I can confidently recommend this sprinkler to anyone seeking a reliable and enjoyable watering solution for their garden.
The answer to a very narrow spread is not, as you might imagine, to adjust the two orange wheels that control the width, because the narrowest spread is still only about 10′. You can get a narrower spread by using the little knob that turns the water flow down – but then it doesn’t go so far in the other direction either. I was about to send it back when I had a brainwave – namely to achieve the ‘narrow’ function by adjusting the angle of the nozzles using the little sliders on each end of the moving head. So by turning the sprinkler round by 90 degrees, I can get a spread of perhaps 15′ x 4′. Hurrah!
The only slight awkwardness is that the little sliders are very stiff to operate – the knobs should be bigger for a better grip – but once adjusted, the sprinkler is very good.
I damaged my previous similar ( very old but brilliant) Hoselok one and wanted a replacement. Reviews on the present Hoselok were not good so I opted for this one instead..
I am not disappointed. It does everything my previous one did and appears to be more robust. Aesthetically I prefer the black to the bright yellow.
All in all very pleased.
The ability to have a straighter edge on one side is great too, I have a pond and I need to reduce how much of the water goes in the pond, I’ve found the straight edge helps here. 🙂
A great sprinkler with nice fine jets and really good oscillating motion. Makes the most of what water it does use, by very good distribution ! I weight mine down with a couple of lead bars I have, just because it is light. Possibly benefit from a couple of “lugs” moulded onto the base, with holes in them to enable it to be pinned down, if need be. Otherwise we are very pleased with the product.
lawn, and this sprinkler is very versatile due to the amount of adjustment it allows. The throw and spread can both (easily) be adjusted, but the filter, on my water pressure, needs to be removed, once that was done…hey presto, works a dream. My lawn, about 9m x 4m, gets watered very evenly with the sprinkler placed in the middle, but the wind can veer it of course a little. So, for anyone with a similar size lawn, I can highly recommend it. This has replaced a Hozelock multi sprinkler, and the difference is like night and day
Easy to set up for our new 40sq.m rectangular green roof. Placed on a long edge it covers 5 metres across the ridge and the 8 metre length with lots of adjustment spare and only on 3bar pressure. Heavy enough to be stable but we will finally position in the pebble edging to hide the hose. Solves all our potential watering issues. Great product and was set up without getting wet! It would have been easy to connect a second unit but not necessary.
I bought this to try on the veggie patch it’s only about 3×4 meters. With the adjustability of it you can make it fit a wider range of areas. It can do double and maybe even quadruple the area that it’s currently doing I’m sure. I’ve got it just at one end and seems to provide a good coverage.
I wasn’t really sure what the best sprinkler option was, having never had to tend to a lawn before. There seem to be various different types, but I felt a traditional oscillating sprinkler best suited the lawn area we have – it’s essentially a 10x10m square of lawn. So ideally I needed a sprinkler I could throw in the middle to water.
Gardena are a brand I’ve used many times lately, having centered most of my garden water needs around their products. They’re pricier than some rivals, but I find that they’re worth the extra money normally, especially if you wait for a sale price. I bought this item at around 30.
The construction feels like heavy duty plastic. With the exception of the metal rods in the base, which I believe are for the axis/to rotate. There are a couple of dials to adjust the water streams and direction. The first one adjusts the “throw” which can increase the distance from 3-15m, and then there are dials to change the spread. You can do this on either end of the sprinkler so if you, for example, wanted to avoid the garden shed you could adjust the dial to stop short and open the other side up to go further. It’s pretty effective. I tend to set mine up in the centre of the lawn and then adjust it to stop short of the patio on one end, and go full spread on the other. In terms of height I’ve set it to cover maximum distance without going over the neighbours fence!
I think the quality is there for the money. I used it throughout the initial month of settling the lawn and it did a great job. I have since used it periodically during the hot spells in the summer.
It’s simple to hook up to the hose and place down where you need it. The controls are basic but effective. The water inlet has a built in rust resistant filter to prevent dirt or limescale getting into the sprinkler. This can be removed and washed out.
It’s worth noting that this is the smaller of three that Gardena sell. It’ll cover up to 150m, the next one 250m and the large does up to 350m – so there are options available using the same tech – the throw and reach increases with the sizes.
Overall good value, effective and feels like will last as long as I need it to. Easy recommendation from me.
Straightforward design, possibly a little flimsy, functions very well. I needed to use a short length of hose for it to work at its best. My mains water pressure isn’t fantastic.
After initially being disappointed at the coverage of water (about 6m x 5m) I removed the valve under the filter (that allows you to turn it on and off on the sprinkler) and then swapped the hosepipe i was using from a 1/4 inch diameter to and 1/2 inch. Coverage is now loads better – more like 12m x 9m.
