They are strong, durable and leak proof design helps to keep your food waste contained as well as keeping your food caddy clean. Excellent and last for a while, cost effective and efficient.

We now buy these rather than use the free ones from the council. This is because they fit better, and never burst on lifting them out of the caddy, as long as you cool down food before putting it in the bag. A hot tea bag will always melt a hole in any recycling bag.
We have the fairly common 2-caddy system; this entails a small caddy in the kitchen, and a larger one to put out on bin collection days. These bags actually will fit the larger caddy, but we use them in the smaller caddy as this allows us to knot the top of the bag on lifting out, then put several full ones into the larger caddy.
We’ve tried several brands and this is easily the best.

We use the 6L bags for a small green food waste caddy that sits on a worktop in the kitchen. We have had several boxes of these bio bags and are very happy with them. They are sturdily constructed and easy to dispense.

The bags seem to be strong enough, I have tested them with hot food and a full bag of food, not rips or tears, I even checked them in an empty wheelie bin and they didn’t explode when they reached the bottom.. I think they are the real deal…

We use these for collecting cooking waste for composting.
Seems to be good value for money (much bigger pack than we’ve bought previously for less). Size is reasonable, could fit a chicken carcass in if you really wanted to!
Would say make sure to leave enough room to tie the handles.
We recently had a bag of potatoes spoil VERY quickly and these bags held a whole 2kg! Super impressed.

The quality and manufacture of the bags is excellent and the material used ensures the products will decompose over a period to comply with recent changes applied to the disposal of this type of waste.

I have ordered those bags for a while and they have been amazing. However, the most recent batch is of really poor quality. When I take the fresh bag off the roll they very easily tear up making the bag unusable. Sometimes when I’m super gentle and manage to break off the bag without tearing it, it tears up when I open the bag… I have been able to use maybe 30% of the bags from the roll so far!

These have been my bag of choice for my food bin for two years or so. I do think they’re good value and they’re just the right size for the UK brown small bin. It’s a tight fit but it does!

My only complaint is as I get to the bottom of the roll they become less sturdy and tear easier. Still much cheaper than supermarkets !

These work great in the food caddy we use. They stop us having to clean the caddy after every use and keep all the horrible bin juice in. As long as you don’t keep them in the bin longer than 3 or 4 days they work perfectly and can go in a compost bin to break down. Any longer than 4 days and they start to weld o the plastic of the caddy and it all gets a bit messy. Bought these a number of times now.

This generous box of 150 x 6 litre bags fit my 25cm X 17cm X 4.5 litre kitchen bin perfectly. At 36cm x 35cm x 18cm, with a little stretch, and a gorgeous colour, are really perfect for their job. They feel so soft, yet still sturdy. Most importantly they are compostable.

5.0 out of 5 stars They feel soft yet strong

I liked having a box with them. Size is good, but found they do leak and sometimes have torn both when tearing one off of the roll and inside the caddy. which is annoying when they say they don’t leak. so am looking for stronger bags.!

    EDIT
The seller offered me a refund & I will reorder & hopefully the new ones will be fine.

I use these bags all the time but the ones I purchased on prime day are useless. Even when spending loads of time separating them, they rip & tear hopelessly. Completely unusable & probably from a degraded batch. I wish I could return but I discarded the box as I normally do, so they will fit in a drawer.

Would have been 5 but the bags have a stupid dotted line across them that makes you think that’s where you rip them to take bag off roll. Poor design with that but otherwise good.

Compostable bags are really expensive in the supermarket. The quality and size of these bags are just as good as the supermarket ones but for a fraction of the cost.

Great little bags. To be honest, if you buy bigger ones and fill them up, they’ll just rip. These come in a handy cardboard dispenser which can be recycled once you’ve used the bags. I’ll definitely buy these again.

This roll lasts us a year as a family of three. We do not buy any other food waste bags. They are big enough that you dont have to keep changing them all the time.

These bags are exactly what I needed to line my kitchen caddy with . They are strong , a good size and most importantly kind to the planet. I will be buying again and would highly recommend.

We use the 6L to scoop out our two cat litter daily before putting in the main kitchen bin. Keeps the smell away until we empty the bin. Eco friendly. Practical.
We also buy the 10L version for our food bin. Robust enough. Easy to detach from the roll.
    Lasts a while.

Good quality bags. Only fault is 6 litre bags only just fit over the rim of my 6 litre food waste bin.
You have to stretch them a little. Next size is 2ltre which would be way too big.

These compost bags are excellent quality, nicer than the ones we had previously. Although my partner accidentally threw out the dispenser box it comes in, it’s still easy to tear off each bag from the role. They’re nicely coloured, slightly darker than some, which hides away the contents inside that you don’t want to see. It’s never had any holes or tears. It fits perfectly in our small kitchen caddy we have on the worktop. Would recommend.

Great recycling bags but be careful when you pull to cut the bags form perforations. Sometimes it rips away from the perforations ruining the bag. Pull slowly along the perforations and it’s fine.
