arrived fast – have watched 5 of the 6 seasons so far and it has remained compelling for the most part so far – there’s probably a few more drawn out episodes with a few more tedious story lines and intermittent over acting than most other similar long running series – so it doesn’t feel quite as polished (to me anyway)
Made over 10 years ago, I would never have discovered it if one of the freeview channels hadn’t aired it sometime in the middle of the night.
It’s good fun with occasional glimpses of humour, and suggestions that many of the evil folks in history have been these mixed human/beast hybrids that only the Grimm of the title can see (and neutralise). I can think of a few folks even today who might fit that bill.
If you like a bit of thrilling escapism, this is the series for you.
I wasn’t sure this series was for me; I thought it might be too dark but, I was wrong! I shouldn’t have doubted the creators of Buffy and Angel – I loved it! What I love most about these series gems is the meaningful connections between the characters and, of course, the great plots and fantastic effects. I highly recommend this series!
Very happy with my box set. Been trying to find somewhere to watch season 6 as hasn’t been on Netflix for few years. This is cheapest i found it. Had some minor dents to the box when arrived but otherwise was delivered in great conditio
I started re watching Grimm on sky max and decided to get my own set. A fantastic series with lots of twists. The box set came quickly and well packaged. A good buy.
Bought this as a surprise gift for my partner , he’s been a huge fan of this series for years so decided to purchase it for him , now he watches it every night before work , it’s a great boxset and even if you haven’t seen it before it’s well worth giving it a try and well the money
My Grandson and I had watched it all when it was on TV over a year ago, when we decided it was so brilliant we just had to watch it all again I got right onto Amazon and was very impressed to see we could buy the full series.
I didn’t know about this movie on till one night I was flipping through my TV channel when I saw the Grimm I begin to start watching it it was so interested I really did have to get the DVD because on 5US channel it didn’t give a series 6 so I have to buy the DVD and I’m very please that I buy it.love i
Boxset quality is very good.
If you’ve never seen it before but think you’ll like it – you will.
The first 6 or 8 episodes are ok – decent storylines – nothing bad about them. But then it gets very addictive as the characters develop. Be prepared for addictive viewing… “Just one more!”
There are individual-stories interwoven amongst a long-term plot. This is the best kind, meaning it can be watched numerous times again.
Highly recommended.
Bought this for my son as he’s a grimm fan – good value for the money as it a complete box set – the only thing is that when all the dvds are in the box they don’t match up (season 4) overall though it’s a brilliant produc
So far the grimm box set is really good and going well. There was 2 seconds of multicolored pixels at the very start of disc 2 of season 1 but only lasted 2 seconds and I havent seen it happen again throughout that disc or others. I am very happy 🙂
It’s an excellent show, the only downside of it is the lack of subtitles in English, just because of the nature of the show involving lots of German language, would make better having also an English option to watch it an get the names of the wessen.
Qualitywise everything else is excelle
I saw this programme on comedy central extra and liked it so much I couldn’t wait for the next episode. I searched on Amazon for the box set, received it within a couple of days and have now watched beginning to end. I will give it a few months and glad I will be able to watch again.
This is a brilliant series, really clever writing and plotting, and you never know what’s going to happen next. The characters go through such an interesting arc throughout all the seasons, not just Nick the Grimm, but every single character. Can’t fault the programme at all, but this box set loses a star because for some inexplicable reason, the first season has no English subtitles, and this isn’t made clear in the product description.
Having watched a few of these programmes when they were on T.V we decided to get the complete box set, and we were not disappointed. We have watched all of them now and although some episodes were much better than others, on the whole we thoroughly enjoyed the box set and would recommend to anyone who has not seen them all yet and any supernatural fan.
