I purchased to use on 4″ schedule 40 PVC. Using this saw, it is easier to control squareness of cut compared to using a hacksaw or reciprocating saw but it doesn’t cut as fast as I expected and it could be longer for use on larger diameter stock. I’m sure it would be great for use with 2″ and smaller PVC.
Very versatile allowing it to be used in circumstances you could not use a normal saw. It’s size, adjustable angles, and ability to cut wood, hard plastic & soft metal, have made this a very useful addition to my toolkit.
Cuts well and maintains a straight line – would recommend. Have almost completed cladding, maybe starting to get a bit blunt, but have used it a lot to be fair. Would recommend.
Very comfortable to hold great blade quite a fine cut which is good would love to get other blades like a course wood for camping or even spares as handle is good fits my bag good too
im a pretty feeble middle aged woman so i bought this saw with an air of trepidation – its amazing, even i could cut through the wood i wanted to. It wont do big thick pieces you have to rotate those to get through but a brilliant little thing.
I LOVE this thing, I just managed to dismantle a leather couch- built like a tank (don’t ask). The blade can be adjusted to any angle- even put on upside down to let you get into any small spave (at one point I was sawing backwards!)
It made light work of something I had been dreading for months.
The grip is comfortable, the quick release dial is a godsend too, and with replaceable blades this thing is now my favourite item in my tool box.
At one point, quite by accident, I was sawing through plastic, soft wood, hard wood AND aluminium at the same time!
