Work well for a month or two but then we had a full bathroom refit, so this was removed as it wouldn’t fit the new bathroom, so can’t speak to its longevity
Used to replace a torn seal on a shower screen for an over bath shower.
Despite the shower screen being an expensive and relatively new item, the seal failed quickly. The manufacturer wanted to charge approximately 20% of the replacement cost of the whole screen for a replacement seal, so I decided to go with this seal instead.
I have yet to see how durable it proves over time, but, at face value, this replacement seal appears as good as, if not better than, the original.
Longer length shower seal. Easy to cut the length and shape around end by wall. Easy to push on to replace the old screen seal. Fits the gap between my screen and the bath edge, perfectly and, so far, no leaks, which could be an issue with the old one.
The original seal on our over bath shower screen had become brittle and discoloured, this easy to fit replacement not only looks great but is better than the original at keeping the screen in place and stopping water getting all over the bathroom floor.
You need to warm the strip in hot water to make its fitting easier,cutting the strip is difficult with a knife, for the hard plastic a small hacksaw makes things easier using a sharp knife for the softer water strip

Make sure to get either a straight or curved version, and cut it down to size. With a bit of force you can fit it snug.

I haven’t had any leaks or issues where water is coming from the bottom of the seal and down to the floor. Works perfectly.

Depending on how snug you put it, in my case it’s near impossible to remove, cleaning would be really tough. And by cleaning I mean cleaning the inside of the seal if any gunk gets inside. however cleaning the outside is perfectly normal and fine.
Measure first before you order. Then soak the plastic seal in a bath of warm/hot water to soften it a bit. Makes it so much easier to get on. Once fitted – i just cut the excess off with a hacksaw ! Easy job.
Had to cut a little notch in the hinge end to get a complete seal, just like our original. Could not cut through thick bit with scissors but was effortless with a pair of snips. Well worth the money. It’s made the screen look brand new.
Our seal had broken and had wasn’t very nice to look at. I finally got the correct item. Was very happy with it. Was a bit of a bugger to fit, but now on, and makes our shower door look new again. I will definitely purchase this item again, if we need to replace. The cost was reasonable too.
In all fairness, we did have to cut it as it was a bit too large. Installing it was a nightmare because of how thick it is, but once in place it doesn’t move and does the job. Very sturdy.
Was a fight to put on, literally a workout! It says it’s ok for straight glass not curved but it’s not! It can go on, I did manage it eventually (but a lot of ****** and sheer determination) but would i recommend with anyone with straight glass NO! However it’s on and it working
Order this this shower screen seal to avoid any water spillage. It is very easy to install. It came almost double in size of what we need. We had to cut into two to fit in to our shower screen. It has definitely blocked the water spillage. The product material is very good too.
A lot of people said this is difficult to fit and it is a little awkward. I finally managed to fix it to the shower and it is a tight fit which is probably good. Some have said that this also broke after a period of time, too soon to tell. As for cutting it to size after reading some reviews, I decided that if there was a chance of it not fitting rather than not been able to return it I cut the seal after I fitted it. This was no problem at all in fact was probably easier as definitely cut to the correct size. This seal does the job and looks ok too. Rather have this fitted than water on bathroom floor. Only 4 stars because of awkward fitting.
