This easy to use can opener is great. I have limited use of my left hand. With very limited grip or feeling in my fingers,using a conventional manual tin opener has become harder to use. Now I just have to hold the easy grip handle comfortably with my weaker hand and twist the butterfly opener with my good hand. Bottles and jars easier to due to easier grip handle.
I haven’t used the corkscrew yet.
Works pretty slick! No sharp edges either! Only 1 problem … Occasionally it can’t grip the edge of some cans enough to separate the lid from the can, so that can stays unopened.
Oh well, Nothing is perfect I guess. I like mine though.
My boyfriend showed me a YouTube video by Technology Connections where the host explained the difference between this can opener and the traditional version. I learned so much from that video and immediately searched on Amazon to purchase. Love it! Love it! Love it!
After watching the unexpectedly interesting technology connections video, I found this product. It works very well to open cans without cutting into them. These should be more common than the ordinary ones.
I have had a can opener that leaves no sharp edges for many years. When I had to look for a new one I was happy to find a similar product.
Very sturdy. Was hard to use at first. Very handy. It really does work but a little technique to start it. You have to tilt the opener to open the can.
As a can opener, it works perfectly, opening the lid simply, safely and quickly. The lid (if need be) can be used to cover the can, without it slipping off.
The other features include a wine bottle opener, beer bottle opener and also jar pressure releaser. yes, it can release the pressure in a jar (like a jam jar) by using the bottle opener to simply open the seal between the lid and the jar slightly to release the pressure.
Great device, works very well, and very reliable.
I bought this product as I was looking for new tin opener to replace my really old rusted on 🙂 after coming across this one and noticing it also opens the baby bottles that I struggle with at present I immediately purchased this and tried it and am happy with all the features:-)
