What is each tab wrapped with?
Our tabs are plastic-free and wrapped with PVOH (a water soluble synthetic material) which is demonstrated to be 100% readily bio-degradable against OECD standards. Numerous scientific papers show that PVOH is not a contributor to microplastics.
If the tabs are 96% plant and mineral based ingredients, what is the other 4%?
The other 4% of ingredients are synthetic ingredients that contribute to the overall cleaning performance of the tabs. None of our ingredients are animal derived and no nasties.
Do the tablets contain palm oil?
No they do not.
Can the tablets be used in a septic tank?
Yes, the ingredients are safe for use in a septic tank Our ingredients are bio-degradable, and have received a ‘low’ score in their toxicology risk assessments
Do the tablets leave a taste or scent on the crockery?
No, we’ve found through a whole load of consumer testing that the tabs leave no taste or scent on your dishes after washing.

I have been trying to wean myself off the leading brand of tablets, but each eco friendly tablet I have tried has been poor. Particularly, I have soya milk in my morning coffee and although the leading brand got most of it off my cup, all of the eco friendly ones left a significant film. These however are better even than Finish – there I said it. These Homethings tablets removed ALL the film, which is something Finish never did. Everything is squeaky clean and I’m not supporting an environmentally dodgy company or releasing chemicals into the water system. Please try these. They are fantastic.
Does the job! And we never even rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, even oven trays. Was using Ecover ones but hated having to wrap the tablet each time sometimes with crumbly bits falling out so this is just perfect. No weird residue nor smell. Will buy again for sure.
I was worried these would not work as well as standard tablets. But the results proved me wrong.
They work amazing andy dishes are always sparkling and clean with no streaks.
I love that they’re eco friendly and I can continue to make steps to help the environment.
I like these but wish I could find ones that are not 3 in one. They do leave a salty taste on items when I have used a short cycle. But on a full cycle they are fine.
I was sceptical when I started using them as I have tried using other eco-friendly dishwasher tabs before but was always disappointed with the results. But as I have a septic tank and I’m trying more and more to use eco-friendly products around the house etc and use products which HAVE NOT been tested on animals (why do they do that?), I thought I’d give these a go.
And I wasn’t disappointed.
The pans and dishes came out sparkling clean with a “silky” feel to them – that’s because these tabs include salt and rinse aid in them too. And the dishwasher looks sparkling clean at the end of each wash. as well.
And they don’t cost silly money either.
So I am now converted.

Very pleased with product, I have a small dishwasher 1 tablet works well placed directly into the body of the machine not the tablet dispenser. Everything comes out clean including baked on goods. Also no rinse aid or salt required.
On top of that the company clearly cares about environmental impact!

This product is amazing. Initially I was dubious at how good their performance would be. These tablets do a fantastic job much better than some leading brands and one of their best features are the fact they are paraben free and non toxic. Their cleaning performance is excellent. We put just water in the rinse aid compartment for a more natural chemical free environment and our dishes etc come out sparkling clean. Can’t recommend enough.
This is by far the best dish washing tablet I have been using. It removes grease effectively, much better than I expected when washing plastic items. Most importantly it leaves no scent at all, you will not taste weird lemon scent in your food anymore. Highly recommend.
