Not a lot you can say it’s photo paper and the print out very good they print out very good but that’s down to the type of printer you hove if it’s a good photo printer as well
I use the HP photo paper with my HP Envy Photo printer and am impressed at the quality of the prints. To date I have only printed photos taken with my mobile phone (iPhone 8, so not the latest and fanciest model) and the photo images are always crisp and clear, with excellent colour tones.
For run of the mill, day-to-day photos, I tend to use the 200gsm photo paper pack which is sufficient for my needs. However the lower gsm were really difficult to obtain for a while, so I bought a pack of this 250gsm and have to admit you can really feel the difference with the sturdier paper – they feel more like photos you would order online and have printed and sent to you.
Will definitely buy more when printing photos for special occasions. It would definitely be a treat to use this gsm for my Project Life and other scrapbook albums permanently, although I would have to consider the cost (I sometimes print as many as 100 photos in one month, so it may not be the most cost effective option for me personally). If you are printing a lower volume or just want a bit more luxury, then I can definitely recommend this product.
Good all round photo paper. We found that our HP printer kept jamming with another paper make, but with HP paper, no such problems. The only paper we have found which is truly flat, most other have a slight curve which causes both paper jams and poor print quality.
I get really, really good quality photos from my HP 8022e with this paper.
I’m new to photo printing, but have been a computer geek for years and was blown away by how good home photo printing has become.
You have to look pretty hard for any seams between the print lines.
It’s easy to use and not a bad price for it…
Not the packaging advertised, thus unsure if this is the right product or not.
The product received, has great print quality. The paper thickness is also 250gsm, which has the perfect amount of gloss I was looking for.
I use these with my HP Tango X printer. This a printer paper is great value for money particularly as I print a large amount of photos due to the subscription deal I have with the tango and printing direct from mobile.
I can’t tell the difference between my tango output on this paper and what I would get in a store print terminal as side from a huge cost saving.
I bought the HP Advanced paper 13x18cm 250gsm glossy, and the width, when measured with a Vernier gauge, was 126.5 mm. It fitted in my HP Envy Photo 6230 printer which had max paper width 5″ in the photo paper tray. The photo tray exact max width was 128.5mm, which 13cm paper would not have fitted.
Great print quality using my HP envy.
All other papers I have tried have curled or come out wavy from the printer.
I sell prints so they have to be the best I can get, trust me this is the best.
I use the normal quality setting, using HP photo paper setting and never get any smudging of ink or ink not drying.
UPDATE…. the paper is still warping and curling…is it the summer heat and humidity causing this issue ???
This is more expensive than many other reams of paper but the quality is the differentiator! We use reams and reams of paper in our business and have seen our fair share of brands and quality. If you print a lot and cost is more important than quality then this may not be for you. However if you want a professional feel and look to your printed media this brand is well worth the price.
All okay so far.
The paper is nice and glossy, not as thick as some other photo paper, but it works well. The box keeps the paper nice and flat, even though it was a bit scuffed when it turned up, but the paper was not affect. It is also in a clear bag too.
Cannot really complain.
This product is amazing and if used in the correct way can bring happiness to others. I bought this item with the intention of bring those special moments to life, and it sure does. My mother in law has not sent her brothers in 20 years and finds difficulty in remembering their faces. So I decided to help her by producing some pictures for her. Her reaction was an emotional experience for everyone. She has terrible eye sight but was able to see the fine details in the picture. I fully recommend this photo paper.
This paper was really good have tried numerous as we print a lot with my partner doing his own photography, this is not the cheapest you can get but the quality shows, the paper is a good thickness not flimsy and the ink dries instntly, the printing is perfect the images look amazing and colour , it really is good quality worth paying that little bit more for this.
I am no good at photography but strangely, my wife Eileen, who is partially sighted can take very good shots, mainly of our dog or displays of flowers she finds. Obviously we retain copies on our computers but sometimes I feel they are so good that I like to print off copies to be framed. Although eventually we need probably no greater size than 4″ x 6″, it is preferable to print out on A4 size paper and cut to fit the frames
I have used this paper a lot and you can see by the pics I posted I rate it a four stars, reasonable price but you have to pay more for even better results. For competitions personally I always use higher grade paper and best ink recommended by printer manufacturer.
Fantastic photo paper. Much better than cheaper brands. The colour of the photos are more accurate as well as being slightly sharper. Tried a few other cheaper brands including; wilko premium and supermarket premium paper but they tend to be sticky and can jam in several printer models we’ve tried. This paper feeds through perfectly everytime in our hp envy 6230 and delivers an outstanding performance. Worth paying the extra to get what you would expect of a printer in this day and age.
I would personally recommend buying the 300gsm paper for framing photos. For those who are making photo albums or are less particular about paper thickness, they are more than adequate.
I have a HP Envy 5020 and I use this photo paper with one tricolour instant ink cartridge 65/304 and on best quality it finishes the ink on page 85. it is very good and shiny. A lot cheaper about 10p per photo. It is waterproof and very good. it has a nice glossy look to it. it is exactly the same as getting photos from the shop in fact it is way better and cheaper.
I would totally recommend this produc
… when it’s in the HP Tango printer.
I’ve had a few of these 60 sheet “10 x 15 cm” HP photo paper packs, and with the odd way the Tango calculates the paper size; printing borderless 10 x 15 always left a 2mm border at the bottom of the page. Reason being, this paper isn’t 10 x 15 cm, it’s 4 x 6 inches. What difference does that make? Well 4 x 6 inches is actually 10.16 x 15.24 cm, so the printers print-area is smaller than the actual page. Ooops. So, if you have a Tango printer, access the printers web page, go to Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management and change the “small” setting to 4x6in paper size as the default out-of-the-box setting is 10×15 cm.
Apart from that, the print quality from the Tango printer on this paper is excellent, no bleeding & the ink dries quickly. Reds are slightly over-saturated and off-whites are yellowish, but that might be down to the printer driver.
I have recently got a HP Tango printer, which came with a sample of this paper which I used to print a few photos out on. I was impressed with the quality of the print and how well the paper held the ink with no colour bleeding. The end result is a glossy finish that is close to the kind of finish I would expect from photo developers.
As the sample paper was good (and the Tango has a really good offer off unlimited photo prints from a smartphone for free with even the cheapest 1.99 instant ink package) I purchased this pack of 60 and have nearly used them all in a couple of weeks. The combination of printer, cheap ink package and quality paper has meant I have started to become a photo printer again (not just leaving my photos on a computer screen).
We have a Hewlett-Packard Photo Smart printer and we’ve found that the best results for the photos is using their brand of photo paper.
In this box there are 100 sheets of HP Advanced Glossy Photo Paper. They are A5 in size, so they are 4 inches x 6 inches, (10 cms x 15 cms).
The paper itself dry’s instantly so it doesn’t smudge, it has a high glossy finish, gives good colour and produces excellent quality of photos. 🙂
We’ve tried other cheaper brands but the photos never look as good and you have to wait till they are completely dry otherwise if you touch them they tend to smudge, (which makes a real mess of the pictures). 🙁
But the other brands were a lot cheaper as over the years the paper by the Hewlett-Packard had got really expensive.
Anyway that was untill I found Amazon Warehouse and decided to have a look. I found that the Hewlett-Packard paper was almost fifty percent cheaper as the box was damaged. So I decided to give Amazon Warehouse a try as it would save me money and I could use the correct photo paper again. 🙂
When my pack arrived I found that as Amazon Warehouse stated it was only the box was damaged and the paper was in excellent condition. 🙂
I’m really happy with this purchase and I’ll be buying again from them again. 🙂
Great price and as always great quality. Even in today with all the gadgets and screens there something about having pictures printed out. And using these pages you get really good quality little pictures, great size and if you set your printed to take its time and print at the highest quality you’ll get some great print outs. Getting so many pages is amazing for the price, won’t run out of these for quite some time and once I do run out I’ll be buying more of them for sure
The paper is great overall, doesn’t dry as quickly as other paper but usually is dry enough to keep printing without having to remove the paper for each photo you print.
I bought this paper as it seemed like a good choice even though I have an Epson printer. The one downside of this paper is it has tabs on the side of the photo paper with perforated edges i.e. tear away edge. Not sure why they decided to go with this, maybe it’s for a specific HP printer but it’s quite annoying having to remove each of the tabs.
Other than that, good paper, good quality and a good price.
Like most people, I no longer have a ‘film’ camera, but digital cameras, so rarely get printed pictures to share with others.
I therefore bought a canon IP4600 colour printer and these blanks, and the results are absolutely amazing.
Every detail is captured, it is sharp, and the colours are really rich without being ‘saturated’.
Sunsets show a perfectly graduated colour from orange and peach through to red and purple.
Sea’s are pale blue and green, and every wave ripple is discernable.
I bought some HP 280g 13×18 Premium Plus blanks for ‘special’ photos I wanted to be larger, but to be honest, the 250g paper was better with my printer.
It takes about 4 hours for the 250g paper to be completely dry, whereas the 280g paper took 5 days and even then was a tiny bit tacky still.
I will use this 250g photo paper for every photo in future, I cannot see how it could produce a better result.
Be aware that when printing photos the end result is a little cropped compared to the digital version, but that is due to the printing software, not these photo papers.
