Machine is easy enough to set up, delivered with NO oil in it so make sure you use 15/40 oil before starting it or even better watch the setup video as stated in the paperwork you receive with it.
The machine is good value but I would take note, doing the big jobs with it you would be best to buy a drum attachment (I’ve seen a few on here 200+ but after the pain I was in after doing 90sm of Indian paving seems like a small price to pay!!) as it broke my back leaning over ever so slightly to clean all the flags.
The design faults.. a few to mention. The wheel on my one actually touches part of the engine ever so slightly, you can feel it when pulling it along. Lance hose connector at pump, can get it on easy enough when cold, but hot bits around it when taking it off after use, so wear thick gloves. Hose connector would have been better if it was fitted so it fits from the back of the machine, not the side. The soap drum fills easily enough but the feed pipe from the drum to the pump isn’t very good and I would put any soap/patio cleaner on by hand and brush it in and let it soak in a bit, then jet it off. Lance trigger… Would have been far more comfortable if it had a trigger lock on it not just a trigger off lock. I’m no weakling but had bad cramp in my fingers after long use.
Good bits… I also have a bigger jetwash 13hp engine on it and I used less than half of the petrol in this machine than I would in my other one so in my experience it’s very economical. I cleaned 90sq mtrs of very heavily soiled paving and used 6ltrs of petrol. Well happy with that. The weight of the machine is manageable for a fit person to lift in a car without much effort. I don’t know this engine but it run for 8 hours and never had a problem, very early days I know but as long as it’s maintained correctly I can see it having a good innings. I have another big job next week and will add to this review if needed.
Right then, done second job with it today…
Thing to note, this machine doesn’t work properly if you use the cloth hosepipes that just shrivel up. It’s like the pump isn’t getting enough water (the pressure was great as well) I had to leave the machine running for about a minute then press trigger otherwise it’s like a cheap Aldi product. It would eventually go down in pressure after about 10min use, I thought the pump had gone. It was the customers hosepipe so changed to the hozelock/Equivalent and hay Presto worked as it should. Cleaned 80, 2×2 flags, black with muck and worked a treat after hose change.
Really pleased with this pressure washer. Easy to assemble, starts 1st time, and cleans block paving and slabbed patio really well. For the 1st time in years I have a Pressure Washer that removes the small back spots on slabs.
After using it for around an hour I noticed the engine unit was jumping all over the place. The 4 nuts and bolts that secure it to the frame had come loose. I tightened them all up again but they came loose again. In the end I added a nyloc nut to each bolt and locked them off against the supplied nuts. All good. Should come with nyloc nuts or at least spring washers.
Have had major problems with jet washers I have brought before but this one is by far the best one I’ve used so far it’s light enough to lift into my van easy to store and starts so easily and you don’t have to have a arm like Popeye to start it and does a really good clean and a full tank of petrol will last about 2 and a half hours love this machine
Took machine out of box to find one of the handle bolt nuts was missing – poor start! Otherwise everything is good and just finished cleaning a big paved area without problem.
Already set up nothing to assemble, it’s a bit on the noisy side but too be expected I guess. The only negative thing I can say is that it vibrates a lot other than that it’s great.
here are some important notes for that picture, i had barely a week before used my neighbours Karcher K4 130 bar washer here on the entire patio and for the life of me could not get the dark brown. black spots off that you can still see on the left slab.. so i went to a shop and bought some algae, moss & spot killer for patios (19.99) followed the instructions and although it reduced the prominence of it,, it was clearly still there as you can see om the left slab.
determined to not be defeated i went online and started looking at the k7 pro Kartcher for an eye shattering 699 ….. saw this recommended suggestion for the Hyundai for almost half the price and looked at spec etc and realised that it was more powerful than the K7.. so i tried it.. results above, clean and clear, no additives and took 20 seconds.
this an awesome machine that is clearly solidly built and designed by an engineer and comes with a 3 year warranty.. everything just is the next level up solid brass screw attachments and think this think might out live me.. so happy
Lost a few bolts from the filter top, this should be a lock nut.
Everything else is top quality
The foam tank is a pain but I plan to use a foam bottle instead
This is a very good washer no question, very powerful with a good selection of nozzles and fairly easy to start even after long gaps between using.
My only gripes so far are a couple of schoolboy errors in design.
The detergent hose kinks as soon as it leaves the tank and this could have been easily rectified Fitch a hook to hold it up. Worst though is where the supply house connects to the washer, it just manages past the frame and no more and is offset at an angle, just ridiculous for a big company like Hyundai. All in all though I would still recommend this washer.
Used three times and all seems ok, its got good pressure and nozzles attachment do what they should. It could do with an adjustable nozzle supplied as well.
It cut out while moving it to a new position, I presume this had something to do with the oil sensor.
If it continues I’ll contact Hyundai
