I have MGD which is where the oil glands near your lashes get blocked and it can cause dry eyes. I didnt want to have to give up wearing mascara completely so I wash my eyes with this every time I take my eye makeup off. It feels like heaven- its like giving your eyeballs a shower! It really helps my eyes feel comfortable and clean and is really helping my MGD.
Bought these to help rinse out the eyes on my dog as she seemed to have a bit of a build up of gunk before I could take her to the vets. The phials were easy to open and fairly accurate in dispensing the solution. I would buy again.
This pack of eye wash pods is a good value product. There are 25 pieces inside. Each is 20ml which is way more than enough for washing both eyes. I think the size can be down to 10ml then it is more disposable. It is easy to use by twisting the top. My eyes feel cool and moisturized after washing. Especially during the hayfever season it can sooth my itchy eyes. The pods can be used for first aid as well.
I bought these to use after doing some work in loft insulation. Although I was wearing glasses some of the dust still gets through. Each pod can be used for a through flush of the eyes. I bought a bottle as well just in case and that was great value too
The box is well made and the pods are substantial but easy to use with a twist off cap
Nearly 5 years shelf life is handy as well as only used a few.
Great product recommended for first aid and DIY use
This is the hayfever season. I have to wear masks while I am mowing the lawn or do other gardening jobs. But I cant cover my eyes. Before I ordered these saline eye wash, I had to make sure I had eye drops next to my night table to soothe itchy eyes. With these handy eye washes, I wash my eyes right after finishing the gardening to remove any pollens in my eyes. They are individually packaged eye wash pods which are for single uses. They are easy to carry with you and more hygenic than bottled solutions. I find them very helpful with preventing eyes getting itchy after walking in the fields or gardening.
Very handy.just what I’m after.
This is the saline eye wash..but can also be used as a cleaner to remove dirt from a wound
You get a box of 2520ml pods.
Very handy to keep in first aid box.handbagor pocket.

Larger than usual saline single use Capsules for eye wash or drops – please see video for more comprehensive review. They perform exactly as my larger bottle of Saline feels on the eye but are more convenient.
At 8.49, at the time of writing,
These :
I-Wash Drops – The Premium Eye wash pods for Most Minor Eye irritations, Sterile Saline Solution 0.9% PH EUR, Pack of 25 x 20ml Pods (Pack of 1)
Are excellent to use.
They leave the eyes fresh, clean, and clear.
They are split into easy to handle, easy to carry and store, little plastic pods.
A single pod is easy to slip into pocket, or bag, to carry around, just in case.
Especially if you are a contact lens wearer.
You can often find a bit of dirt, grit, or eyelash hair stuck in your contact lens.
These eye wash pods can simply wash the dirt away, without the need to take out your contact lenses, or go to the bathroom to sort them.
A quick pod wash, and it should sort out your issue.
I like these pods a lot, and I always keep one on me when I am going out.
It lives in my jacket pocket, along with dog treats.
If a hungry dog with an owner with grit in his eyes comes along…
I am your man.
I am more prepared than a mass camp of scouts.
Overall, I love these wee pods.
They are well designed, well made, and are nicely priced.
I can happily highly recommend them.
I hope you enjoyed our time together .
Thank you for reading my review .
These ampules of saline are very useful to have around. Not only for irrigating eyes, but also for washing out wounds and for nasal irrigation if you suffer with allergies. You can just snap one or two off and add them to your first aid kit, and they’re small enough to take with you when you are out and about on walks or camping trips. The snap off top and squeeze method means you can adjust the pressure of saline stream according to the job in hand, from a stream to a drip depending on what you’re doing and how delicate a job it is.
It’s getting to that time of year for me again where I refurbish my First Aid kits & top up missing items & get rid of & replace out of date items. Its one of the things you hope you never have to use but are surprised how often you do. I have one in the house, car, a small one for my everyday carry bag & a comprehensive one for travel/rucksack.
While some things you hope never to have to use, there are some items that do regularly & saline solution is one of them. This is a handy box of saline solution tubes called “- – , 0.9% , 25 20 ( 1)” from ” “.
The printed cardboard box contains 25 x 20, 0.9% sterile saline solution. There are five rows of strips, each strip is comprised of five clear plastic pods that are loosely joined together. This way multiple pods can be stored in a first aid kit without becoming a jumbled mess, to use one just pull it from the strip & twist of the plastic tab at the top & it creates a nozzle that can be used to drip or irrigate via a stream.
They have a number of uses like; irrigating a small wound to get rid of any foreign matter or blood before dressing, as it is a physiologic solution it wont harm the body. Clearing sand/grit out of human or animal eyes. [I used to have to sometimes do this for my Jack Russell who loved digging holes]. Refreshing tired or puffy eye due to strain or things like hay fever. For irrigating the nose/sinuses. Any unused fluid in an open pod should be thrown away as studies have shown that even in a sterile solution that it can harbour bacterial growth within 24 hours of opening.
I found the pods easy to hold & manipulate. They tear from one another easily, the tabs come off cleanly & are easy to hold & squeeze gently to get an accurate flow or drops even when administering to yourself. They have a long shelf life, mine are dated to November 2026 [I received them April 2022] & they are a cracking price at only 8.49 for the box of 25 which works out to 34 pence each. for those needing to replenish a large amount say for a companies First Aid boxes they do a larger pack of 10 x 25 [250], 20 Pods costing 49.99 which works out to 20 pence per pod. Worthwhile supporting a small Cambridgeshire, UK company & their prices are good.
Always handy to have some sterile saline pods in your first aid kit, hand bag, desk draw etc because you never know when you may need to wash out an irritated eye or a graze or cut of little ones. These are a decent size at 20ml and are sterile until you pop open the top. Good long date on them and cheap at 8.49 working out at just shy of 34p per pod – which is much cheaper and with more saline than the leading competitor. Certainly worth it in my opinion.
These 20ml i-Wash saline eye wash pods arrive boxed. There are 50 in the pack, arranged in plastic strips of 5 – very easy to take 2 or 3 out and about with you just in case and a must for the medicine cabinet. They’re easy to use. Simply twist open the seal at the top and let the saline solution run across your opened eye.
Perfect for minor eye irritations and to dislodge foreign bodies, these plastic phials are also great for refreshing tired or hayfever eyes. At time of writing this pack worked out to under 17 pence each – good value in my opinion. They had a usefully long expiry date of November 2026.
Got eyes? Tired or hay-fever?
These are the I-Wash Pods & Drops The Premium Eye Wash, Sterile Saline Solution 0.9% PH EUR 20ml x 20.
If you have hay-fever or wear contacts you will know how dry yer eyes get. These are a really good wash, they will remove all floaters or irritations. Ideal for folk have hay-fever, as this will wash out all the bits that cause irritation and give you a massive relief.
What I do like is that 20ml is a big amount, so one bottle is good enough for both eyes.
I fully recommend these, whether it’s tired eyes, a clean or hay-fever, these are a must have. Brilliant.
These arrive in a small full colour printed box measuring approx 11cm x 9cm x 12cm.
Box is clearly marked with the contents – Saline Eye Wash Sodium Chloride 0.9% w/v Ph.Eur 20ml pods.
Each pod has a flat base & square sides.
They are supplied in strips of 5 which can be snapped off from each other.
I was not able to do it one handed so I am putting a couple already separated into my kit along with a strip.
I also couldn’t twist the top off single handed, but I was able to take it off then set the open bottle down for a sec before picking it up again to use.
They can be placed base up on a table & won’t fall over, but if put on their sides because they are flat sided they will not roll.
Always handy to have something stay put in an emergency situation so I’m really happy with the thought that went into the design of these.
Each bottle contains 20ml of Saline & while there are no real measurements on them, they have markings that seem to approximate to 25% 50% & 75% so you have a rough idea how much you have used if you need to know that.
Each bottle has a printed label which includes the expiry date, lot number & manufacture date.
Mine were manufactured 12/2021 & expire 11/2026.
These are marked as sterile & have a CE marking on them too.
I’ve worked in a lot of workshops & getting dust or other particles in the eyes is a frequent occurence.
I always keep eyewash in my first aid kit & these are a welcome addition.
Much better than trying to deal with eye baths or larger bottles you need to decant & no fear of contamination as each is a one & done shot of Saline.
These are specifically listed as being suitable for minor eye irritations or skin injuries only.
They are also excellent for washing out grazes & other shallow wounds, especially those that may be full of grit.
Perfect for any first aid kit & something that comes in useful even at home.
This is perfect for my partner right now as he managed to get some ash in his eye a couple of days ago while tending the stove and it still stings a little. He had been using boiled tap water, but he said that hurt his eye. These are so much more hygienic than tap water and also the saline helps prevent infection. I didn’t really think about eye injuries until this month, my partner getting the ash in his eye was bad enough, but my friend is currently in hospital on an anti-biotic drip trying to save one of her eyes after the anti-biotic drops didn’t help. Her dog scratched her eye while playing, there was a delay in getting treatment and she developed two different types of bacteria, one is gone but the other is some kind of “superbug”. I wonder if she had flushed her eye with saline when she got scratched things might be different now.
All you need to do is twist the top of the vial and squeeze it into your eye, my partner got me to do it for him and said it didn’t sting. We now have an emergency one each in our hiking day packs as well as the rest in the house in case of debris or injury as we often hike through undergrowth.
This is a box of 25 tubes of eye wash. They’re in a cardboard box and the eye washes are in the box stuck together in rows of 5. The tubes are very rigid and you have to snap the tube you need away from the others which I found surprisingly hard, but if you crack it firmly it comes away.
The end breaks off which opens the tube and the idea is that you tilt your head back with your eye open and gently squeeze this over you eye, letting the contents tun over your eye, cleansing it. This is great for irritation, dust, to soothe itchy eyes and to help remove any dirt which may be causing discomfort.
Once opened the tubes cannot be resealed, they are single use only. Very useful to have especially in the hayfever season to soothe itchiness and to keep in emergencies in case of any particles in the eye. Recommended.
These little eye wash pods are invaluable to have on your person. I always make sure that I have got a couple in my EDC (every day carry) bag. It’s so easy to get something in your eye – A bit of grit, an insect, etc. Having these to hand ensure that you have something to wash the eye out with. A few weeks ago, I got a tiny bit of glass in my eye when removing a mobile phone screen protector. One of these pods was close to hand and I was quickly able to rinse the eye out. Had I not had one of these, it could well have been an uncomfortable trip to the eye hospital. These are multipurpose, in that they can also be used to rinse out cuts and grazes. Just twist the top off and squeeze the water out to rinse. Each pod is sterile, so you’re fine to be rinsing eyes and wounds. I really would not be without these in the house, car and bag.
These are absolutely essential for any first aid kit. If you have plasters or bandages you should have one of these, especially if you carry out any work with irritants like dust, or chemicals. Or even if you do a bit of diy at home from time to time.
If it’s a cut on the body i’ll just use cold tap water but anything in the eye always these so they clear out any debris without irritating. They work so much better than just water and they are sterile so won’t add anything horrible.
I’ve had occasions before where sawdust or plaster dust has got in my eye and i’ve spent 30 mins+ trying to rinse with water and my eyes have still been horrible afterwards, but a few minutes and a couple of these clear out muck so much better and with less irritation. These are fantastic
These are sealed in nice blister packs so store really easy and you just snap or snip the top and can direct a stream of the wash into the eye very easily and let it pour out the eye along with anything nasty.
There is quite a lot in each ampule, way more than I needed for each eye, so it can be used to give both your eyes a really good wash out so it doesn’t go to waste.
The top twists off easily and it is easy to guide the solution into your eye, but it is quite messy so I think it’s best to do it in the shower, or you will need a towel to catch the liquid. If you are using one because you have something in your eye then you are going to get wet through, so be prepared.
My eyes have felt dry, hot and scratchy for around a week now, I think because I’ve been spending a lot of time in the garden doing some painting and tidying after the winter and my normal eye drops seem to stop my lash serum from growing my eyelashes as well, so I thought I’d try this eye wash instead. I washed my eyes in the shower and they felt cooler and moisturised, which also meant they felt less scratchy. There is plenty to give your eyes a really good washing out. The effects lasted for a few hours before I wanted to rub my eyes again but I think they will improve over time.
A product that, other than its packaging, looks somewhat similar to that of a well-known UK eye-care brand, and serves the same purpose. However, the vials contain a much larger volume – just 5 or 7.5ml in the older product and ideal for their intended purpose but little beyond. When first used, it was an innovation but is now much copied.
“I-Wash Pods and Drops – The Premium Eye wash for Most Minor Eye irritations, Sterile Saline Solution 0.9% PH EUR, Pack of 25 x 20ml Pods (Pack of 1)” comprises 5 strips with 5 soft plastic vials each. The brand is not one that is known. The vials are quite easily opened by twisting the top winged portion and as much or as little can be used to flush the eyes should there be road dust, grit or even a loose eyelash on the surface of the cornea. One may also help with eye tiredness, slight soreness etc or just to refresh them.
As the vial contents are sterile until one is opened, a strip or a few vials can be stored in a handbag, desk drawer, jacket pocket etc as one may be needed at any time. There may be an advantage to place one in a fridge for a few minutes to slightly chill it, or to drop it into cold or iced water, when possible.
The established brand’s product was much used over a long period of time, just occasionally when required, as it had an extended use-by date of some years – the contents are nothing more than saline solution so there is nothing that can deteriorate. This product has no expiry date and is also available in 250 ml bottles which may be more practical in some situations or otherwise kept at home while the vials are at work, school etc.
As it is sterile saline, a vial or two can be used to flush a cut or other wound caused by a fall outdoors or onto a less than clean surface. Sterile gauze pads or similar will help absorb excess liquid and remove any foreign object that may be visibly present within the wound area prior to the application of a dressing.
Although moderately bulky, a full pack or a couple of strips would be perfect for a First-Aid box or kept in close proximity. A comparison on pricing is not feasible as the volume supplied in each instance is very different and there is a significant difference in their dates of acquisition; prices have increased in the interim and especially so in the past few months (as at 04/22).
